The Doctor is very knowledgeable but overall we didn’t have a good experience with the rest of the staff.
The large staff is very disorganized. Several times a nurse tried to take us into a patient room that already had a patient in it. Then I saw this happen to others a few times too. It was very awkward. You think they’d have a system for that. We spent most of the visit sitting with a handful of other people in a 2^nd waiting room, waiting for a patient room to open up.
Also they tried to overcharge us for the copay. Which is only $ 15 but they kept saying it was $ 20. Only after a lot of insisting and them calling the billing department several times, did it get cleared up.
Overall it was a very frustrating experience.

Very unprofessional place. The younger staffs here have a bad attitude. I have seen them treat older patients bad. Very time consuming. The doctor was just asking why do you think you have bad vision and I laid out my reasons and he picked the most reasonable sounding one. The doctor was asking many personal questions. Being nice and making convo is okay but so unprofessional

I’ve been going to Dr Boyce for over 20 years.
I recently got a Unilocal account and thought I’d finally post a review.
Both Dr Boyce and his office staff are excellent.
They are incredibly professional and friendly.
I never feel rushed and they patiently answer all questions.
Tests they perform seem very thorough.
Highly recommended.

dr liu @ dr boyce office did the cataract surgery for my momma’s eyes.
the ops went smooth and all that shit and she can see again. one eye is better than the others and after some bull shit, shes ok now.
the bad part, my mom can see well aand she complains about everything. from the car color to how ugly michelle obama is… (wait til she sees feinstein or pelosi).
the staff is extremely friendly, courteous, patient and kind. dr liu is also the same. karina helped a lot! she was wonderful (and cute)…
highly recommend this spot for all opthamological needs. they are super cautious, intelligent and real. only real people here…
fyi: bring a sweater. opthamologist must have a cold room…
