Burger buns were stale. Few of the french fries were sour/​bitter. Pretty bad, inconsistent. No quality control. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes horrible. Sometimes seems like stuff sits around, hot chicken pattie sits in a chicken sandwich for a while — steaming the lettuce and making the whole thing soggy soup. Basically, not consistent.

When people believe flipping burgers is a $ 15/​hr job, they should speak English so they can get an order correct.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Walked in to order a special plastered on the outside windows. They would not honor the price and indicated they charge what they want and not what the signs say. Walked out and will never visit again.

Once again I pull in the drive through and I order. I pull to the window and pay and I’m immediately asked to pull around to the other side. Apparently it takes an extended period of time to make a #1 combo.
What is really going on is the clock. Corporate has a clock running on every car. The employees have found a way to get around seeing if the employees are moving fast enough.
The problem I have is at night. The employee asks the customer to pull around the building in the dark. One of these days someone is going to get robbed or hurt and Carl’s will be liable.

Okay like these people love to annoy me. I don’t come here unless I am in the area and am starving. It’s 3am and I got hungry after work, the drive thru is open 24 hours, but why the hell is it only taking cash? It’s a modern fast food joint. Cash, no offense to the government is being replaced by plastic. This just wasted my hope and time just passing through there. Thanks karl. Regret working for this dumb company.

Worst $ 2.99 breakfast burritos ever! I ordered the bacon and egg burritos since I wanted something fast and simple. By the time I got home and realized what I had received, it was too late. They were so flat and had very little egg and bacon. I could’ve had 3 of these. They were the size of Del Tacos .59 cent bean and cheese burritos. So sad and such a rip off. Don’t pay 2.99 for these.

Excellent burgers and food. One star off for no ice cream cones.

No WiFi service, they should have WiFi.
They are doing plenty of things right.
Unfortunately their TV commercials are in poor taste for a family oriented restaurant.

It’s 3 years later and this place is much better. The newer employees (Arthur and Kevin) have been very pleasant as well as the morning manager. I haven’t seen Omar at all so I felt it was only fair that I update this review with the current employees. So I’m much happier coming here now. Good work.

This was one of the closest Carl’s Jr I lived around, so my sisters and I decided to go here to eat since we looooove the Western Bacon Burger. Upon entering, we were greeted right away and the cashier was standing there ready to take our order. I liked that he was smiling, he greeted us, and he was lively. Seeing him gave me positive vibes and I felt that this was what the place needed since it seemed extremely empty and not as busy as it should be. While eating my meal, I noticed their manager sitting on the side doing some sort of paperwork? You could definitely hear the workers in the back preparing food while having a conversation, which in my perspective, didn’t mind since the place wasn’t busy, however the manager walks up and literally SHOUTS at them asking if they were talking or working. I understand as a manager, you should be making sure your employees are working, but I felt that him shouting at them in front of customers who are trying to eat is a little overboard? Just my opinion though.

Went recently for lunch and ordered a grilled chicken salad. Lettuce was wilted and partially brown, tomatoes tasted like they were going bad and cucumbers were not fresh either. Ate around the bad parts which left half the salad. I advised the crew that they should make sure they serve fresh salads and not one that have been sitting in the frig all day.

If I can give a 0 I would. I waited 10 mins just to stand there and stare. I’m here to order food and eat not to stare at menu for 10 mins. We left since no one wanted to help me. I understand it’s not the girl fault but it’s the management fault for having 1 cashier doing drive thru and front…

Very unfriendly crew. No one smiled or tried to be friendly. It’s not like it was busy. The female crew members talk loud the atmosphere was especially poor because there was no music playing.

I stopped going here; the service is very poor, and the customer satisfaction recovery attempts are non-​existent. Occasionally would go here via the drive-​thru, and would often encounter orders getting botched, dealing with rude employees, etc. I have often seen when ordering from both menus at the same time (Carl’s Jr. & Green Burrito), I’ve been asked to pull ahead and park in front of the entrance for my order. This happened a few times– even when no one else was in the drive-​thru.
Stopped going here, and the other reviews aren’t too far off the mark, either.

I almost feel obligated to write a review to defend this place. Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. Every time I have been here on my lunch break I have never had an issue. There has never been a long line during the times Ive been there. True, I take a later lunch break than most people. I also order the same thing, plain big hamburger with cheese and a water, so its simple. I order in the drive thru, then proceed to the next window, pay and Im handed my food, and I drive off. Takes longer to pull out of parking lot than it does to order and pay.
Now, come on its Carls Jr. Most of us know what it tastes like, most of us have been eating Carls Jr. For years. To me its a familiar taste and smell. I can distinguish between the Carls Jr smell and the Golden Arches smell on same parking lot. Since I know what to expect of Carls Jr. I dont set myself up for disappointments.
Service has always been good to me. Cashier is overly attentive and nice, saying «my pleasure» after thanking him.
So its Carls Jr. Expect what you already expect for a fast food joint.

I got ripped off. Xx western bacon suppose to come with fresh baked bun, instead i got the days old bun… Cashier ignored me over a minute when ready to order my meal… Probably one of the worst location besides mcd on euclid and garden grove

Usually the drive thru is pretty slow. Just went there for a western bacon cheeseburger. Asked for some extra BBQ sauce and the girl at the window said they were out of BBQ. I should’ve gone to Tomys.

lady at the drive thru window was very rude when i ask her if she is going to do ATM or credit with my card. she rolled her eyes at me and gave me a dumb look. what a bitch. good thing i told her off after she gave me my food LOL. oh and by the way bitch you where to much make up and it still wont help you. and lay of the biscuits there going right to your ass.

This location is absolutely the worst Carl’s Jr location I have ever been too. Most of the time I drive a little bit further to beach and chapman just so I don’t have to deal with the rude and incompetent employees here. One of the location managers screws up my order EVERY time I come in. And it’s really quite simple. I order the same thing every time. Two spicy chicken sandwiches with no lettuce… Somehow this manager always seems to give me two spicy chickens with no mayo an the lettuce is always on. One time I went back in to get my order fixed and she started screaming at her employees in Spanish as if it was their fault she rang my order wrong. This location NEEDS new management ASAP. The slow and poor customer service is pathetic. You guys just lost yet another customer. I won’t be coming back.

Yeah, this one is CONSISTENTLY slow, other CJs are pretty hit-​and-​miss, besides being the only one I’m aware of that has the stupid camera and monitor in full view,
Maybe you piss enough people off and you don’t have to worry about getting robbed after all?

I had a hankering for a western bacon cheeseburger. I thought about going to Tomys down the street but it was packed and I wanted to get home quick thus I went with Carls!
Holy crap fast was not the word of the day at this Carls. The people working there are very slow. I dont remember it being this slow. I sat in the drive through lane for a good 10 min waiting for the cars in front of me to get food and then mine took another few minutes after I paid.
Well I got my burger, fries and a choco malt and made it home in about 25 min. Not Good!
