Little worried about the worm reviews but we only got che and tea here. Everyone liked it. I had coconut milk tea. Was average. I didn’t like that they put crushed ice in it. So that watered everything down a bit and the taste was ok. Everyone else liked their ché but nothing outstanding. The deserts looked appetizing with all the fruity colours and the service was friendly and quick.

Fucking disgusting. I bought«Banh Trang Tron» with my friend yesterday and what I got was a WORM crawling inside my box. Ewwwwwwww! I couldn’t bring it back to complain because they’re Vietnamese n they’d do anything to say that they didn’t do it. NEVEREVERCOMEBACKHERE. BTW, the food is bad.

Got the Che Tray Cay(healthy fruit medley) Naturally sweet and healthy with fruit chunks And the Pennyworth drink is really herby. You can taste the leaf and not the overpowering sweetness other places have. Very refreshing!

The food is good, & its boss is really friendly. However, a young girl with long hair & black clothes who is an employee there is not professional. Her face is always sad & painful. She’s never smiled with customers, & she hasn’t been a welcome attitude whenever meeting her customers. I ordered some food with her, but she didn’t answer me. Too bad! It happened many times last times. The service should change next time. I usually come there to eat, but now I’m not sure I can continue eating there anymore :(

We came here to this location with my friend during lunch time, we ordered«Banh Trang», «Bun Dau Mam Tom» and«Pha Lau». After the meal both of us got diarrhea ! The«Bun Dau Mam Tom», I noticed the meat had some dark gray color on it and it was hard, I think they reused the meat from yesterday. Veggies on the side was completely spoiled and turned dark color also . The«Pha Lau» was good and I love the taste of the soup . 1 Star totall for using the old food.

Its located right next to the Brodard in Garden Grove. The store is a quick pace service kind of store with tons of people ordering here. They are known for their che which is basically Vietnamese dessert. I usually run with some kinda green che with some coconut milk and it tastes pretty good albeit very sweet. The texture is nice and the flavor isn’t too bad either. You can’t really go wrong with che but to be honest its not one of my favorite things in the world. However, after Brodard I usually crave something sweet so this is more of a convenient factor. There are better che places in the surrounding area fyi. They also have snack type food here too if you wanna grab a quick bite to eat. It doesn’t really fill you up with its small portions but its a good snack. Overall, its a nice dessert place. Customer service is average and the food is what you expect. Nothing special about it. If I’m in the neighborhood I might make a stop… maybe.

Ordered some Desserts here, at around $ 2 each cup. Take your pick of multiple options. I had a green looking tapioca with coconut milk, pretty good. Husband had the red bean dessert with coconut milk. :)

It seems more like a food to go place with a few dine in table. though the food here is absolutely delicious. I would recommened«banh trang tron» and«banh trang cuon» here. they serve with more portion compare to other places. for desert you should try ’ che khuc bach’

Next to Brodard so I had to stop by to get my dessert fix. Lots of selections to choose from for che(dessert). You choose what you want or pick one of the traditional kind. All at a reasonable price. Despite the name of the shop they also have more then just desserts, however I didn’t try them. Pics on Instagram @amanda.n_

Came here with some family members who recommended it… I wasn’t really to impress with the flavors. Seems like the place was trying to do a Fusion type Che, but doesn’t seem to really wow me. The décor is very nice and appears they served food to, but I don’t think I would come back to try it out.

Been here a few times, wanted to write a review, but funny I never knew the name of the store. Finally I remembered to grab a business card on my last visit. :) I don’t know the names of my drinks and desserts, I always just point lol. I always order the coconut milk with yellow and purple mochi balls with mung beans inside. My favorite is the sweet rice with black eye peas topped with coconut milk. Kids love the one with some green jelly strips, small red mochi bits, green mung beans, some corn in coconut milk. Sadly did not see the sweet rice balls in brown sugar ginger syrup last time = a must order imo. Last visit, we had 3 desserts and a drink $ 9! Cant even buy 1 ½ drink at Bambu in Irvine! Sorry I don’t know the dessert names, but everything is good. Be adventurous. :} BTW You have the option to sprinkle sesame seed or crushed peanuts.

We went there Saturday afternoon and ordered Banh Trang Tron and Pha Lau. For the wait: almost half an hour — lost one star FOr the quality: banh trang tron is yummy. Pha Lau is alright. for the price: Banh trang tron is a a little bit overpriced. Pha Lau is a like 1 and half cup -$ 6. I was like are you kidding me now??? that’s a joke! Lost one star from me Conclusion: I will definitely not return this place for Pha Lau although it tasted yummy but the price is ridiculous!

I like some of sweets here, Taro in coconut milk for 2.- you can’t beat that. Fried banana looks dry and old I didn’t try it. The girls there are friendly but why they still speaking Vietnamese to me when I speak English to them, ughhhh. I’ve noticed every Vietnamese woman in this store(both employees and customers) has same face, same nose… lol maybe same Dr.

Located in the back section near the Brodard entrance. Parking can suck and it’s compact so good luck. They don’t just have che here either, but the food menu/items are just pictures on their door at the front entrance. What we got: Mixed Fruit Che &9 Color Che($ 3 each): mixed fruit was pretty good. It had diced watermelon, apple, honeydew, lychee, and grape mixed with coconut water. It was super refreshing! As for the 9 colored che, I’m not a fan of those kinds of che, but my BF said it was good. Ate it all before I could even have a spoon of it to try… Banh Trang Tron($ 5): comes in a pretty big to-go box and my BF and I couldn’t even finish it. It comes with kho bo, mango, peanuts, tiny shrimp, dried onions, quail eggs, and Vietnamese coriander. It’s pretty good here, but then again it’s my second time trying it(first time at Slide the Wind). Would definitely get it here again though! Fried Banana(2 for $ 1): I wouldn’t get this one again… it was cold and didn’t really taste like fried banana. It tasted like«banh tieu» aka Vietnamese hollow donut. Service: The girl serving us was super nice and quick. They have free wifi too! Would come back to try the other types of che they have and for the banh trang tron again.

Been here a few year back and the desserts were just okay… However, knowing that it’s under new management, I decided to give it another try. SO glad I did! They now sell food as well as desserts and super delicious! Some new dessert items are really interesting. Will definitely come back to try their food.

Im giving this restaurant 5 stars based on 3 important factors. 1. Customer Service– if I did this review 2 years ago, I would’ve been complaining. I think they got new owners because the family working here are so nice and polite. FOOD price is awesome! I got 3 dishes and a desert for only $ 21! 2. The restaurant is clean and doesn’t smell! Very simple décor and free WiFi. 3. The food so far has been really good to me. *****Banh Trang Tron– was super good and they give you alot. This dish is not for everyone but the Banh Tran Tron fanatics. They dont skimp on the ingredients! *****Bot Chien– Nice and Crispy ***** Hen Xuc Banh Trang— This was okay. It was a 3.5 out of 5 stars because it was a little bland. **** Banh Canh– oh my. this dish was tasty. I love the savory flavor! **** Che Chai Cay– People complain that this was syrupy and too sweat. But I think its delish because I like my desert sweet! Its a very refreshing drink/desert ****ive tried most of their che and I can honestly say the quality is great! This place deserves better reviews!

Food –The only thing I’ve ever had here is the«Banh Trang Tron»(I think that’s how you spell it) and it’s pretty damn good here. I’ve only had it at a few spots and«Tra Teahouse» was one of them but it has a way better tasste here. Service –Friendly staff. Not your typical Asian staff that’ll just stare and ask you what you want, take your order and walk away with this look that makes you feel like you did something wrong. Cleanliness –Looks good to me but it might just be that I am comparing them to what I used to see in most restaurants when I was growing up. The only thing I wasn’t too fond of is their«Nem»(cured pork). It had a really awkward taste to it and trust me when I say«Nem» is my thing to eat.

Great selection of Thai desserts. Dirt cheap and very tasty. Everything I tried was very good. But I was pleasantly surprised by the service. The staff was very friendly and engaging instead of being annoyed with my continuous questions. Would definitely come back to this place when I am eating at Brodard’s again.
