I usually go Friday’s for the basketball open gyms, people here are very friendly and workers are nice. 2 $ to get in and play for 3 hours seems pretty good to me.

I can’t believe this place has only gotten 3 reviews so far! I also can’t believe it’s been here all this time and I’ve never utilized it until recently. I enrolled my 2 yo for ballet, tap, and tumbling on Saturdays as an inexpensive option to «pro» dance classes and to teach her confidence and social skills. Ms. Donna is great with the kids! I love that she incorporates manners and social etiquette in her instruction. I also saw that they have arena soccer available which my daughter gleefully noticed as well(giant soccer ball picture). Guess what class we’re taking next?

This place is decent if you’re looking for a cheap place to get some good practice time in. I usually only come here on Saturday and Sunday for badminton. There is a lady that sits inside of the gym and collects money($ 3/$ 5) from you immediately after you enter the door. I found this kind of sketchy since other times that I went, there were people who say at the front desk, who looked a lot more legit, asking for you to pay also. I don’t mind much about paying since the price is reasonable. Badminton here can be a bit of a pain in the ass since it’s usually filled with middle-aged men using up most of the courts. You can also find the occasional high school players(like me) coming for some extra practice but there are usually only ½ courts open for us. The pin clip system is not that efficient… But I guess that’s better than nothing. Overall, this place is alright for badminton players in the Westminster/Garden Grove area who are looking for somewhere to play during the weekend and are too lazy to drive to BCC in Lakewood.

I’m not sure why this wasn’t listed on Unilocal yet. I come to this gym to sub on an indoor coed volleyball league team. It’s a newer building that was deisnged really well(minus the court floor). From the outside it’s clean and well lit and has plenty of parking. The foyer has tv’s on and a counter with staff always available. The bathrooms are clean and never smell! At least for women… that’s a big plus! Ha! The gym has two full volleyball courts set up side by side with a big drop down divider. All vb players love when the constant«ball on» is eliminated from your matches. I’m not sure, but I think it works out to be 2 basketball courts as well. The place is well lit and has high ceilings with lots of windows. The sun becomes a problem during games when it sets on the court and blinds you. Not much you can do about that. They refs typically throw in rules about serving from the blindingly bright side so there is less advantage to the team on the«good» side. They do their best to work with it. My only real gripe is the gym floor. It’s not your expected suspended wood floor. It’s a weird material that doesn’t have much give so my guess is it’s not suspended. That means that you don’t jump as high as you normally would on a wood floor and you feel the shock in your joints. And as far as volleyball goes, it’s not easy to slide or land on and hurts if you do… so be careful.
