I’m not exactly what category you would put Skyy Café and Di Vang I/II in, but my guess would be «Beverage Club». They don’t serve alcohol, just coffee’s, teas, milkshakes(insert a capella Kelis hook), water and other assorted beverages. I’ve only had the free tea and the fruit cocktail which is really sweet and laden with ice, almost too full to eat. Not bad things, but I like how they use the Jackfruit. I mean it’s in Garden Grove. TV’s, booth’s and tables all around. A very neon-esque vibe. People are doing business, playing cards and the wifi is free, but let me be clear the scantily clad women servers is normal. It has a very strip club vibe in that the girls really are just eye candy and deal with touchy feely men all day so. I’m not sure if they are cash only, but I paid in cash. I really prefer Di Vangs because the girls are better, the ambiance is more what I’m used to, but they are remodeling and you won’t find guys sleeping it off slumped in a booth there. A disappointment when introducing people for the first time to these«beverage club» establishments.

My friend and I decided to check this place out, after our less-than-stellar visit of Café L* in Santa Ana. You guys exceeded our expectation. First off, the girls were lively, energetic, animated, and receptive. Something that was missing from other establishment. I recommend anyone to check this place out if you havent yet.

Went here earlier — Wednesday night, March 2, 2011. After dinner, we were supposed to meet up with friends at Café Lu, but decided to check out a new place. It’s a Viet café, and if you don’t know what that is, read some other reviews on Unilocal or google it. The windows are tinted really dark, so we couldn’t tell if there was even anyone inside. I opened the door to reveal the coziest Viet café I’ve entered — I’ve only been to 3 or 4. As tiny as it was, I’d say about 70% of the tables were taken. There were a few laptop users, one table playing cards, and the rest chatting and watching the samsung lcds. +1 for samsung lcd. But you probably didn’t come for the tvs anyway. There were 2 girls working this night, and they were both very attractive. It surprised me a bit that they were pretty sociable. Usually girls just come and take your order, then bounce. But they lingered awhile, and actually paused to make eye contact and smile. +1 for courtesy. I got my usual, Viet iced coffee with condensed milk. A friend got an iced black coffee, and his brother got the strawberry smoothie. I like my Viet coffee slightly bitter, to give me the psychological satisfaction that its stronger… however, this was a little on the sweet side, and milky. My friend’s brother thought the strawberry smoothie lacked flavor, but my friend thought it was alright. And the black coffee was ok. I was way too tired… am way too tired to remember what kind of tea we had. The older brother had commented about it being green tea(instead of the usual jasmine), but I won’t make that claim personally. I’m not sure if you care about coming here for the tea either. But, one of the girls did make very frequent rounds to refill the iced tea. When asked how she was doing, she replied that she was tired — long day. Yet, she made an impressive number of rounds that night. And the other one, toward the end of the night, sat down with the table next to us to play a round of cards. +1 for service. Did I mention the girls were attractive? 4 stars, easily. p. s. I hope this gets me brownie points next time I visit
