I’m only here commenting about the Banh Mi. Its pretty good, made fresh. Not the best Cha/meatloaf but it works. What I need to do next is to ask if they can not put soy sauce in the Banh Mi cause I think thats what is making it sweetish.

CASHONLY. I come here strictly for their banh mi thit trung(meat & eggs loosely translated). It’s $ 2.75 each and they open late. They also have other banh mi selections for your liking. You will have to endure the shouting Asian men and second hand smoke, but it’s worth it. They have three 8-ball pool tables and about twenty tables for«carom billiards.»

I went here to check out the tables, as I am an avid pool player and was interested in checking out this room. I don’t have much history or experience with pocketless billiards tables but I do know that Gabriel’s makes excellent tables. I also did hear about the delicious sandwiches and I can definitely confim that they are delicious and cheap. After going there a couple times I can confidently report that this is one of the top cushion billiards rooms in the area. The tables are in great condition with excellent cloth that just rolls and rolls. The seating could be a little more comfortable but as far as having great billiards tables it scores high. There are a few pocket tables there as well and while they are in decent condition with good cloth I am not a big fan of playing pocket billiards there. If there were a few more pocket tables of high quality and a little better layout with seating, I would rate the place at 5 stars. I must add that last time I was there it looked like they were getting ready to remodel the place, so we’ll have to see what happens. All in all, this is a good Billiards Club. Good tables, good atmosphere, good food, great prices.

I have been to plenty of vietnamese billiards across the united states. There is a common denominator with these places. They actually have awesome vietnamese food dishes. The customers would play billiards and grub a bite at the same time. This place has a pretty bomb banh mi, its comes with spam, egg, bbq pork, and pâté. All of this for $ 3.00, I know its a little pricey compared to the other spots where banh mi can range from $ 2.00 to $ 2.75, but if you are in a mood for banh mi drop by this place and pick one up.

Okay usually I wouldn’t come here but when I am craving bomb banh mi, this is the place that comes in mind. It’s inside a pool hall full of asian gangster people but I think it’s worth it LOL. They Banh Mi is BOMB!!! Cost: $ 2.50 each CASHONLY What I always order is Banh Mi Xa Xu(bbq pork) with Fried Egg. They have never disappointed me. If you can plan ahead, call ahead because they make it on the spot, nice and fresh and you don’t have to wait around while people stare at you.(maybe only if you are a chick) I always get those stares that are really uncomfortable. But I just deal with it when I want the Banh Mi. The bread is always slightly crispy and soft on the inside and the meat is perfectly marinated and you can never go wrong with an Egg inside your banh mi. Mostly when it’s still nice and hot. NOTE: CASHONLY and be careful about the parking. Bad drivers/parkers out there. Saw someone couldn’t park and hit the corner of another car and then just back out and left without putting up a note. =(So just be careful. LOL

Nothing great about this pool hall. Its very run down and they allow smoking so its always smoky. I tend to play 8 ball and there is only 3 tables there that can be played on, the rest of the tables are for playing 3 cushion.

Now you’re thinking, a 5 star food at a pool hall? WELL all you Unilocalers are missing out. I was lucky to find out about this treasure because I use to take martial arts as as kid in a dojo in the same plaza and we’d always go there after practice to eat. Now this is for anyone who loves Banh Mi sandwiches. They have a Banh Mi Pâté Trung(it’s basically spam and eggs) but I am telling you, it is like crack. The Banh Mi bread has this buttery taste to it that is just unfreaking believable. Everyone I have introduced the sandwiches to seriously call it addicting. The sandwiches became so popular, they opened a «Thanh Tam» Bakery only a few doors down.(For all you people who can’t really deal with the OG crowd, then maybe you should go to the bakery, but it just isn’t the same. I will tell you now getting to your food destination is difficult because the pool hall is this ghetto and I mean GHETTO ass pool hall with nothing but old Vietnamese men or gangsters and it reeks of cigarettes. My best bet is to call ahead ask for the sandwich and wait 10 – 15 minutes(thats how long itll take since they make it so fresh) and go pick it up. Why hasn’t this been Unilocaled? Because most of the clients can’t even speak English or turn on a computer let a lone write a review on it. There are only a few establishments that I can say I almost guarantee everyone will love but seriously, the Banh Mi here is like CRACK! But yes, if you don’t speak Vietnamese well and are afraid of the smoke, you could always go to the bakery in the same plaza.
