Ive been coming here for years to get my chicken meat and ingredients for phở or rice porridge. The last few visit havent been too good quality wise. The last few chickens meat were not up to the standard ive grown to accept from here. They weren’t as tender but rather more chewy. Despite this overall the place is still very good. Im sure they will step up their game and give me some good chicken next time. The lady is super friendly here. The spot is really clean despite the type of business it is so thats a plus. Its a small complex so parking can suck at time but most of the time its just grab and get out. PS this is a place to buy chicken so you can make at home. They dont serve food here so dont ask PPS i think they have balut here too

We’ve been coming here 3x already and always get the duck and bring home to pops. It’s always a drive but worth it.

I love the eggs here. Cook em up and eat em and they are as fresh as it gets. The chicken is plucked all the way for you. I take my mom here all the time and this is the place she trusts and nothings bad happen while I eat the stuff here so yea, try it out!

Places like these are awesome. Direct translation«Chicken/Duck Store» If you like fresh chicken/freshly harvested: rung, plucked, and cleaned with innards, head and feet packaged nicely within its’ cavity this is your store. You can get a small chicken about 3−4lbs for about $ 10 or a bigger one for about $ 12. You can get other items as well, such as «gio song»(Raw sausage paste). It comes in a plastic container that goes for $ 3.50ea. I really like these when I’m making traditional«buon moc» that you’ll drop these raw sausage mixed w rehydrated black dried fungus and black pepper. Hmmmm MM! No Pollo? You can get duckies or bollut. Even though I’m asian, there’s something about a chicks head that is unnerving. I’ll only eat the yolk. And No, I don’t eat Dogs, just puppies. Many of you may ask Why purchase chicken from this store as opposed to any other? Because whole chicken at costco, or ralphs or anywhere else is not the same. The meat is mushier when cooked, it has a subtle taste, and the meat doesn’t really hold up well. However the poultry here are free range, meaning they get frequent exercise so that their meat is more chewy, it holds up well, is a little gamier and there is a strong chicken smell when cooked. I totally recommend this place if you’re into chicken and would want to see what Real chicken taste like. BTW: Don’t worry about the language barrier, the old ladies speak Viet, a little English and Spanish.
