I’m currently staying in the Hyatt and was starving for some breakfast. Great thing is … This place is located in the lobby of the hotel. Super convenient for hotel guests. Upon being seated by the Host, we were told that there was no buffet that morning. I was a little bummed cause I was starving but we decided to stay and eat. Our waitress was Melisa. She was kind, bubbly and fast. She recommended her favorites and what was popular. I ended up ordering the Benedict with arugula and avocado. It was delicious. Healthy yet delicious. My friend ordered the OC Scrambler and he said it was delicious as well. To drink, we had fresh squeezed refillable orange juice. This place has very healthy food on the menu. Most times, people see healthy and cringe at the possible prices and taste. To be honest, I’m one of those people who avoid healthy food cause of the price and taste. With that being said, I LOVETHISPLACE. I will be back tomorrow and the next day for breakfast. OH, also… If you check in on Unilocal. You get a 10% off dinner coupon.

We stayed at the hotel for Disney Land and thought to try the restaurant because we were too tired to leave for dinner. Best decision ever! We had such a great experience that we went back to the next night for dinner. Our server was Robert. Despite our playful kids and many requests, he still had a smile and made sure everything was satisfactory. On our second time, he packed milk and cookies for the night for our kids. Very thoughtful. There is also a Healthy menu. I had pan-fired tofu with the soy-ginger sauce, side with steamed veggie and sautéed mushrooms. It was so good! The restaurant also has a great kid’s menu, a variety of selections, and all delicious and kids favorites. AND healthy. Do try the half baked chicken too. Oh! And the calamari too!

Good food, nice ambience from the Hyatt Regency lobby. Our server was so hyper and friendly pretty nice Mexican guy smiles all the way. My Cali Benedict was great. And Hubbys vegan breakfast quinoa was bomb. Can’t wait to come back. Price is fair.

Amazing view and great décor of this green restaurant! Jesus is a great server. He was patient with our process from ordering til the end of our breakfast. Ordered: Cali Benedict(suggested by him), French toasts and cups of coffees. Very attentive in filling up our coffee and waters. Will be back again for sure.

We walked over from our hotel a few mornings to eat here. We got the buffet each time and it was the best breakfast buffet I’ve ever seen. The orange juice tasted like when you get it from a refrigerator on the side of the highway in Florida from a man in a rocking chair with a shotgun on his lap and an alligator in a kiddie pool — fantastic! There was a huge variety, so guaranteed, you’ll find something you’ll like. And there was brie and fig jam and a make your own omelette station. Come on. I think our waiter’s name was Mario and he was a treat

Food was good, not great. Prices were high and portions were small. Service was a bit slow even though there were very few customers.

Excellent service and superb food. Friendly and inviting vibe. My husband and I shared the Vine Ripe Tomato Caprese and the Antipasta Mista(Italian cured meats, cheeses, and roasted vegetables). We loved it. We are foodies and our food was so delicious!

Let me start this review off with. I’ve stayed at this hotel a lot in the past for the NAMM show. So good food where I stay is very important. Chef Monir is an amazing professional cook. He takes his food and job seriously with pride and attitude. I’ve had many things from here but I will write about the things that really stood out to me. I started off with the Bruschetta Trio. Which includes. Balsamic-marinated tomatoes, buratta pesto, sautéed mushrooms. WOW this is done right! From the classic style balsamic marinated tomatoe w/basil to the pesto and the mushrooms. This is something you cannot go wrong with. If you enjoy Bruschetta you will enjoy this without question. The tomatoes are marinated to perfection with great rich flavor. The pesto is light and extremely tasty. While the mushroom bruschetta gave it a bit of a kick to the taste buds with it’s sweet yet perfect taste in flavors. Moving onto the main dish. Pan-seared Sea Scallops. It included. Sweet potato purée, pancetta powder, Tuscan apple mustarda. Again WOW. These scallops are cooked perfectly. A lot of places do not know how to cook scallops properly and it always worried me. I can assure you Chef Monir knows what hes doing here and cooks them to perfection. It seasoned well, the taste is there and the satisfaction of the apple mustarda tips it off and hits the pallet with wonderful taste. I also tried a bit of the Short Rib Pappardella. Which included. Braised short ribs in a cognac cream sauce. The pasta tastes extremely fresh like it was definitely hand made here. Either that or they get the pasta fresh each day by a great vendor. The pasta is boiled perfectly and done right. The cream sauce is isn’t to heavy. I can tell this cream sauce was more of a roux. BUT don’t let that scare you. It isn’t over the top with richness and it’s actually quite light. It’s got flavor and it’s got punch. The short ribs are cooked well and very tender. Overall I’d highly recommend this place for dinner. After you experience the good food always either let them know to speak to the chef or ask to speak to him yourself. Let him know hes done a god job. Because he has! I had a great dining experience here during this years NAMM show. And I want to definitely reach out again to Chef Monir doing a wonderful job on making my experience here a memorable one. Food: WAY above average. Décor: Above average. Staff/Customer service: Above average and beyond. Great people. Cleanliness: Very clean. Bathroom: Clean and easy to find. On a side note. This restaurant is in the middle of the Hyatt courtyard. It might be loud during busy hours. But I know the food will be worth it.

Had breakfast here. Very pretty lighting and modern ambiance. Prices weren’t for breakfast. The food was 3.5 stars but I have it four stars because the staff was really friendly. My server was extremely helpful and attentive. Very personable and provided excellent service. I had the omelette with a side of chicken sausage. Decent tasting. Large portions.

I was too lazy to walk to neighboring restaurants so I ended up in the hotel restaurant that I was staying at. I had no problem with that because I’ve always remembered The Hyatt Buffet breakfast as being pretty top notch. I go in at 630, told them my last name and went to work. Not much to choose from for a guy like me. Mostly grains(cereals, muffins etc). I ended up with roasted breakfast potatoes, eggs(salsa on the side, no cheese), bacon, pork sausage. I am not a fan of their chicken sausage. I wish they had a little side of cheese because that’s what’s makes an egg to me. I thought they had a scrambled egg station but that was the Hilton or maybe they rid of it. Either way there wasn’t that much for those who don’t eat grains. Coffee was strong and different, but will keep you alive. I had two plates of breakfast with only protein and potatoes for carbs. Made it thru Disneyland all day on the Buffett style so not too bad. Waitresses were extremely nice.

Had breakfast here on 12⁄6. I was with my 3 kids and was seated right away. They have both buffet and made to order food. Ambience: nice and open. Pretty casual with variety of booth and table setup. Great for families. Very clean. Service: very good. One main waiter took out orders. But different servers checked up on us to refill coffee and juice. They saw that my boys loved toast, so they offered to bring extra for them. They had juice in kids cups(not always a given). All servers were very friendly as well. Food: was ok. I opted for the buffet. The spread was basic. Eggs, 3 different meats, waffle/pancakes, and fruits and cereal. Omelette station was nice. Good selection of breads. The kids menu was good too. Value: knowing what i know, i would have probably opted to order off the menu. At $ 24, the buffet is not worth it. Definitely not for the kids at $ 12. Kids under 6 yo eats free. This is awesome. Entrees maxes put at $ 17 for adults. All in all, nice place to grab food before your day starts.

Probably 2.5 stars, but I decided to round down. I was at the Hyatt, so it was convenient to stop here for breakfast. It was pretty empty, but the service was incredibly slow. Friendly, but slow. The water glasses are tiny(by American standards, at least), which wasn’t the watier’s fault, but we were sitting with empty glasses for most of the meal. He highly recommended the Cali Benedict, so I went for it. It’s two poached eggs served over two slices of bread with avocado, arugula, «tomato jam,» and a ramekin of hollandaise. The eggs were slightly over cooked, so the yolks were semi-solid. The tomato jam seemed to be stewed tomatoes with sugar added. Overall, everything was pretty bland. On the plus side, they use local/organic ingredients. On the downside, that doesn’t make up for sub-par service and mediocre food.

Best service ever! Cameron always made sure that my boyfriend had a full glass of water and even asked if he wanted fresh ice tea. We went to the buffet for $ 25 for each person just because we didn’t know if the food on the menu was good. And we were really hungry so we ended up going to the buffet. I recommend going to the Pasta Station in the buffet section. You’re able to make the pasta how u want and the chef cooks it for you. I thought it was more delicious than the pasta they had to choose from.

Dinner Review : Food is amazing and the staff is great !(I would never stay at this hyatt again but I would go eat at the Tusca located at this hyatt) 1) butterfish is a must, perfectly cooked, worth the $ 32 2) scallops(probably the best I’ve had in a long time) love the pumpkin /squash purée. Compliments the scallops perfectly(who knew) worth the $ 33 3) cheese /meat platter amazing !!! Great quality meat worth the $ 17 4) eggplant cannelloni, simple ingredients but good. Not sure if I would get it but if you are an eggplant lover then you should try it. Worth the $ 15 5) we tried all the Italian sodas and they were amazing(passion fruit one was the best) worth $ 5 each, I believe there were four flavors 6) dessert was amazing ! Pistachio cake was good but the tiramisu was amazing worth the $ 9 dollars each Our server was amazing do not remember his name(would have to look at receipt, but he was an African American male, if you go there look for him, he knew the menu and he made the recommendations and gave us the best service. Will update with his info when I find the receipt. Worth the 150 we spent with tax & tip for two people! Breakfast Buffet(ate twice) $ 23 per person for a breakfast buffet. It was really good, normally I wouldn’t pay $ 23 per person but I had a certificate so it was worth it. I got $ 25 dollars off, so for two people it was 21 dollars plus tax & tip. If I didn’t have the certificate I would not do breakfast here . *the person who makes the omelette’s is a little grumpy but the omelette’s were amazing, he actually made them exactly how we wanted them. Just ask him how is day is, and his attitude changes completely. :) Quality of food is fresh, they have the basic breakfast stuff(waffles, pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage(chicken sausage was amazing) cereal, oatmeal) *i did enjoy the variety of dry fruits and nuts for the yogurt /cereal. Ton of muffins /bread(carb overload) fresh fruit, very basic banana, apple, watermelon, cantaloupe. Server kept refilling coffee and our OJ, she gave us coffee cups to go and filled it up with coffee(which saved us on a Starbucks run) she was actually super sweet. I wouldn’t eat breakfast here unless I had the certificates, but dinner I would eat here anytime *also I would never stay at the hotel again . Overall, the whole staff at Tusca is super nice. Quality of food is great and amazing. Try the scallops and butterfish if your a seafood lover !!!

We came in here when we were in town for a Disneyland adventure and looking for somewhere close in the area, this place popped up. Not the biggest fan of places inside of restaurants, but we were more looking to fill up more than anything at that point in the evening. Nice interior and clean space. Service was good from the start and my cocktail is well made and brought to me promptly. Always good to get your drinks on time! We started off with the calamari for an appetizer and it was nicely battered, not too much and had a light, understated flavor to it. Wish they had more tentacles and not so many rings, but so it goes. The pizzas were alright, but nothing close to being spectacular. Small in size and not charred enough to my liking. It was an enjoyable meal, but nothing all too memorable and next time I’m back down here, it’d probably be wiser to do a more thorough Unilocal search and find something not so commercial.

After a friend’s suggestion, we drove several miles to try out this new menu. I loved loved loved everything! The server, Carlii, was such a doll. She was on top of everything. Our multiple drink orders and multiple food orders. She made wonderful suggestions and we tasted glorious wines. Every time she approached the table I just smiled from ear to ear. She was like sunshine. I ordered the a lemon drop martini with Chambord to start. Oh my delicious and refreshing. It was not too sweet, just right. For starter, we ordered the Roasted Beets with romesco and burrata cheese, Steamed Mussels with pancetta, and Calamari with buttermilk and marinara. The Roasted Beets was seriously amazing. I wanted to drink the romesco sauce. I was trying very hard to be polite and share, but I tell you, it was one of the biggest challenges I have had in a long time… Sharing is overrated! The Steamed Mussels we killer. The creamy garlicy sauce and chunks of delicious Pancetta. Oh my! I was in love. My husband kept ordering the toasted buttery bread that came with it to make sure there was not a drop of sauce left on this plate. I think he licked the plate, can’t really remember what happened after the food coma started. For din din I order the special, which was a medium rare ribeye with risotto loved in truffle butter. It was soooooo amazing! I am a serious foodie, I can put it down. But the food portions were so generous that I couldn’t finish! Ahh!!! My hubby got the pork chop with polenta and swiss chard. I don’t think I have ever had swiss chard like this. I am a huge fan. My dear friend had the pasta dish. They make their pastas in house fresh. So good. We did it family style, because that is how us Asians do. Everything was super great! Whomever they had redo the menu is genious! The food and service was like a fine dining experience with incredible prices. I give it 5 stars because I couldn’t believe the quality and deliciousness that came with the small price tag. YUM!

BF took me here last Friday for dinner,. We came at about 7 ish and no one was there. This place is located inside the Hyatt Hotel. Our waitress was pretty awesome, she told us the special for the night and took our order. We wanted the Special that night, the Salmon($ 28). We asked her which wine would go with the Salmon and gave us two choices(one of her recommendations and the other was the Chef’s). She let us try both and I ended up liking the Chefs recommendation and BF liked the Waitress’ recommendation so it worked out fine. :) I ended up getting the Tuscan Salad which was awesome! BF hated it, but I loved it. Very different from what I’ve had before and the cheese that was in it went well with it. It was perfect for my taste buds. As for the Salmon, OHEMGEE! to die for! The salmon was cooked perfectly, it had flavor(which is rare) and the rice that went with it was just awesome with the mushrooms. Yummy yum-yum! I’d go back here again for the salmon and I’m sure BF would come back to try their desserts. :) 4.5 stars for me
