Great sandwiches — pick up chips and other goodies to compliment your lunch. Only place like it in that industrial area.

I was driving around during my lunch break looking for something different and new. I was tired of eating at the same old places after driving around for like 15 minutes and ready to settle on a hamburger special I spoted this place in my rearview mirror and busted a quick U-Turn Mario Almada style. As the previous reviewer said this spot is off putting by not only the apperance but also the parking situation but I figured what the hell. I walked in and ordered a Torpedo and it was good and only around $ 3. The cold cuts were very good and the sandwhich was well put together, unlike subway were they throw the s**t together and it looks like a mess. By the time I drove back to work the bread was not soggy nor were the veggies and meat falling out of the bread. Very good food for very reasonable price.

Jamie’s Deli Market 104 E Alondra Blvd(Corner of Main St & Alondra Bl.) Gardena, CA90248 310−327−5097 I’ve been driving by this place for a while. So I tried them out, they are a convenience store which sells everything from band-aids, liquor, chips, candy, and lottery tickets. The sandwich stand is on the far side of the store, but close to the entrance. Jamie’s Deli is one of those amazing little shops which are only known by locals. I’m glad I tried them out and have already gone back for seconds. Jamie’s highlights are cheap prices, fresh ingredients and great bread. I went there twice this week because they were so good. I would rate them better than subway, whose meat taste different and bread is too soggy. I’ve tried both their Torpedo & Turkey\Bacon sandwiches. They use lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickes, hot peppers, mayo and mustard. Ingredients are all fresh, thinly sliced and gracefully folded into the sandwich. Bread had good texture. What gives their sandwich the oomph is their combination of jalapenos, pepperoncini & red onions. Not excessive burn, but just enough to add some flavor. While I was waiting for my sandwich, 3 or 4 patrons came in to order too. Don’t become turned off by the appearance of the store front. The sandwiches are great with excellent prices! Most sandwiches are under $ 4.00/ea On the downside, there is no parking! I had to park half two building away and walk to get into the place. Price = ***** Excellent Value Flavor = ***** Why go to subway when you can have Jamie’s? Location = *** Very close and convenient to industrial area I worked at. Parking = * Hardly none, this area may look like Grand Theft Auto Vice City at night
