All I can say is someone in the kitchen was doing some pretty serious shedding. The 1st hair was found in our salsa, it happens so that didn’t bother me that much but then all but 1 of our entrees also had at least 1 hair in them. The food was good so I guess go try it out if you don’t mind picking hair out of your teeth when you leave.

Great family restaurant. Highly recommend. Service was great for our party of 11. Everyone commented how good their meal was. Definitely going again.

We came on a Saturday night with the family to try it. We all got nachos, quesidillas, Cobb salad and ceasar salad. It was all very good. We definately recommend this place!

I’ve eaten at LaRueda several times, and every meal has been excellent. Food is top notch. The atmosphere is not great — it’s a remodeled Pizza Hut, but it has become one of my favorite places. I’ve been with several groups, and everyone enjoyed their food and had no complaints at all.

I don’t know if all the people writing these reviews are on crack or just stupid but this restaurant is TERRIBLE. Their menu is all over the place and their food comes out of freezer bags. The waitress we had was rude and told us that once our food came out, we weren’t allowed to have any more chips and salsa! What kind of crap is that? The chips and salsa that we DID get weren’t that great. And they give you a little tiny salsa container only filled halfway up. I will NEVER eat there again.

Friendly service. Excellent food for very reasonable prices. Great seasonings and flavors. Really enjoyed. Trout was actually grilled instead of pan seared. Steady consistent crowd during our visit on a Friday evening. We will be back.

They know how to fry. It was surprisingly good. We ordered fried green tomatoes, fried fish, fried sweet potatoes, french fries, shrimp and grits, chicken quesadillas and chicken soup. Every fried dish was great. Fried sweet potatoes were amazing. Shrimp and grits was little bit too rich for my taste, but very very tasty. Chicken quesadillas was slightly dried. I’m going to try their steak menu next time. The staffs were very helpful and tidy. Especially the guy who handled checkout counter washed his hand right before getting outside of kitchen to take our bills. Also I like their open kitchen which is good sign of hygiene. Hopefully they’ll be able to get liquor license before I go there again.

Great food! The menu is not your traditional Mexican restaurant fare. They offer some healthier choices. We had blackened tilapia with a poblano corn cream sauce.(Served with asparagus and black beans.) Other guest ordered cheeseburger quesadilla with pico de gallo, lettuce, chipotle sauce.(also chose asparagus and beans as sides). We will definitely go back.
