As good as any Mexican restaurant in the area and at about half the price as the restaurants up or down the street. Tacos are good and at $ 1.50 each hard to beat. The beans and rice are excellent. Al pastor and carnitas are booth very good.

Growing up in Los Angeles I hold Mexican food to a high standard. It took me a few years after moving here to find Taqueria La Salsa, but what a find! Everything is authentic, fresh, and great! The taco special is a phenomenal deal– 3 tacos, rice and beans… al pastor is great and so is carne asada! If you’d like a healthy alternative to the rice and beans they are always happy to substitute a small side salad w/avocado. We have ordered just about everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. The chef/wait-staff are great and always eager to please. If you like a hotter salsa– ask for it– they have it and it’s great!

Top mexican restaurant in the area. Really tasty authentic tacos for only $ 1.50! I highly recommend the al pastor. Im from San Francisco, and its even fantastic for that area. My mom really likes the carnitas wet burrito. I also really like the tostadas de camerones. All locations are great. This one is small. Great prices, yummy authentic food.

This is an update of my previous review. We’ve continued to eat there, and I continue to favor the tacos, but my wife asked if they had whole pinto beans, and they do. They subbed them into my nachos instead of their regular beans, and she had them on her plate as well. This was a nice healthy substitute, and we enjoyed it. So, the beans and the tacos are worth the effort. Affordable and tasty, what more could you want?
