U.S. Bank

Perhaps one of the rudest tellers I’ve ever encountered.
I don’t mean to complain and generally believe that people are good, honest, and friendly — but I’m not an inconvenience that must be impatiently endured: we all have bad days but this teller was like walking face-​first into a hive of stirred-​up hornets. The bank was hardly busy (far more employees –6 — than customers — 3), but the attitude that came across was that this individual was too busy to be bothered by me, that asking if I could get a cashier’s check from them. No, we aren’t customers; yes, we used to be until your bank churned my wife’s trust account out of nearly $ 103,000, selling her trust’s blue-​chip stocks and buying loss-​leader U.S. Bank mutual funds — days before their value tanked. All perfectly legal, but why stop while there was still money in the trust? Someone misread her trust documents thinking it was a tryst account, because my wife certainly got screwed in the deal.
After
ID, I was asked «Did we want to reopen an account with the bank? It would save (us) a lot of money on the cashier’s check.» Why would I believe that backing the Titanic up and ramming the iceberg a second time would produce any better results?
Someone there had to have a gun behind the counter because they’d need one to get the fees they were demanding to do a $ 800.00 cashier’s check.
Seriously, with the karma this bank has, it makes me nervous to think that we might be in building when karma comes calling to settle accounts.
