Good place, great service, great food, except for the homemade soup, which really didn’t taste that good.

Meh. Local small place. Food was good at a good price. If you are looking for authentic Mexican, I’d suggest go elsewhere. It’s more like a small café with different types of food, some Hispanic. The fresh juices are really good.

Let’s start with the good: the coffee was fresh, and parking was easy to find. Now, the unfortunate rest of it. Skip this place. There’s nothing about it that would make me come back to try it again. The place is just sloppy, from the interior to the windows to the food. If the food was outstanding, I could forgive a crummy bathroom, ugly window displays(what is with the bowl of fetid water near the door?), but the food was just okay. It didn’t stand out and when I go out to eat, it’s to at least equal what I could do for myself. The huevos rancheros were actually okay. The salsa was spicy hot, and I liked the take on eggs-on-tortilla. Was it «El Tipico» level? No, hell no. 21st Ave in Paterson is still the undisputed champ. The«Super Nachos» should have been better, since we saw carne asada, generous jalapenos… but again, just okay. The kids menu is silly, my kids can eat rice and beans, just not as large a portion. So why put linguine and meatballs(what?!) on the kids menu? It’s an easy thing to do, and the meatballs were a failure. Poor Sasha. My son tried an Uruguayan hotdog(diced ham & cheese on a grilled dog), and he liked it for the first half, but then the dubious quality of the hotdog made him ditch in favor of the jamon y queso toppings solo. Poor Ethan. My wife tried the steak sandwich, and it(again) should have been better, but it failed to impress. Steak, eggs, tomato, but somehow it didn’t stand out. Poor Evi. I’m not going to recommend even trying the place. I’d have spent my time better going past it straight through to Paterson and gotten El Tipico’s desayuno mejor.

I saw this restaurant on and thought my friends and I would try it. The food was really good. We started with the nachos, the only thing with the nachos I wish it was hotter, not flavor hot but temperature hot but otherwise really good. I had their chicken soup and you can tell it was homemade and not out of a can. For my entrée I had the enchiladas. They were tasty and really good. I would definitely go back.

Good homemade flavors! A small down to earth place that is a perfect place to grab a bite and byob with couple friends. All the dishes we had were really nice. Guac and chips was awesome!

Very friendly people, great HOMEMADE flavors. I found this place through a Groupon. I ordered the mix fajita and chicken quesadillas. Good flavor.
