Came in ready to buy a kayak. Made three circles of the store looking for help. Nobody. Not one salesperson on the entire upper floor. Finally went downstairs and found a store manager. He apologized and I let him know I am on my way to Academy to buy from them. Went to Academy, was overwhelmed with service so I purchased an Old Town Vapor Angler kayak for $ 399 from Academy.

I got some awesome «Nike 4.0» shoes for a great price a few days ago here! The young lady named Ashton who helped me was VERY helpful and so sweet! She constantly came to check on me and helped me choose the pair that fit and looked the best! Thank you Ashton! You are the reason I’ll be returning soon :) keep up the great work!

Surprised by the size of this sports castle, how much common stuff they DONT carry. Very limited tennis items and NO KT sports tape.

I came in search of a hand-held water bottle with a hand strap and something to hold my iphone while i run. I did not find either thing I was looking for. Not to say that they don’t have a variety of items, they did not have what I needed this time.

I guess I just cannot get over the fact that the associate just gets the shoes, hands them to you and walks off. Just not used to that. When you are spending $ 75 plus on some freaking shoes, I expect some service to go along with it. I could go back there and do that job.
I have always thought Dick’s was high anyway. The only reason we were there anyway was because my mother insists on buying my son’s shoes for now. So we go where she feels like spending her money.

Great selection and service. I stopped in yesterday because my sister wanted Nike shorts to wear for her summer dance classes. We had looked a few other places but couldn’t find any in womens size extra small (we should all be so lucky to have this problem, right?)
Dick’s is clean and well organized. The staff was more than willing to help us to find what we were looking for and overall the prices were very reasonable. I also noticed they carry Soffe and several other less expensive brands. They also had a great selection of Texas Rangers gear in Youth sizes so my nephew wound up walking out with a new t-shirt too.
I definitely will be back.
