Lucky Layla Farms

First of all… it’s a lovely dairy farm in Plano… scenic and serine. That in itself is worth the drive over. The Raw milk is the BEST milk you have ever tasted. Get over the whole «raw» thing… and read your history. The drinkable yogurts are so so so great! Smooth

Hooray for yummy, locally produced butter, cheese and yogurt! Lucky Layla fits the bill and sells to customers at the Four Seasons Farmers Market. You can also buy their products from Sprouts, Whole Foods and the Lucky Layla store in Plano. Many restaurants around town feature ingredients from LL as well.
We picked up some of the drinkable yogurts and a Campesino Tex-​Mex flavored cheese. The Campesiano is a soft, white cheese with a mild flavor… until the Tex-​Mex flavors are added! DELISH! We will be trying more of their products over the next few weeks.
Although LL sells eggs and raw milk, these items are not available at the farmers market outlet. Hopefully, they will get the license to sell their eggs at the market soon. State law prohibits the sale of raw milk except at the farm (LAME!), so you have to go there is you want it.
