Whoa is me folks! As the harsh wind blows through the country side of Gasport, N.Y. It saddens me to inform the followers of this fine eating establishment that, «The Talk of the Town» has closed their doors and has No future date in opening. I Raise My Cup to You,. Cheers!

Cute little diner I stopped at while biking along the Erie Canal located in the cute little hamlet of Gasport. The service was awesome and the food hit the spot. The prices were very affordable. Would definitely stop in again if I’m out that way again.

Excellent food-open daily for breakfast and lunch, on Fridays for dinner. Comfort food, well cooked, friendly staff and good prices. Great place to stop by for a quick meal that you get your money worth from.

Talk of the Town — Small family run restaurant The community diner with a lot of greeting and informal politicking going on. Walk in, sit down and check the dry board for cooks choice of about four or five items that may or may not be in the regular menu. Typically I arrive for in time for breakfast, or on occasion lunch. Coffee flows freely and the service is attentive. Prices are moderate but the meat portions are generous. Blueberry pancakes, ham steak and coffee for $ 8. Steady flow of customers and closed in early evenings. Its a good way to start my early mornings. Street parking and a small lot, though I usually park in the church lot, across the street.
