I AGREE!!!

Chef James catered a family reunion party for about 25 people for me this weekend. In short, the whole experience of planning the menu, having Chef James deliver and then eating his delicious preparations was OUTSTANDING!
He made the whole process easy, made sure there was enough variety for everyone’s varied tastes and even helped me get stuff set up in my house. Mini-​cheesesteak «footballs» were a huge hit, as were the «Shrimp Lejohn» (jumbo shrimp with dijon sauce wrapped in bacon!).
There was a ton of food at a reasonable price and the end of the evening left me with very few leftovers… mainly because everything was so incredibly delish!
I would have him cater anything again in a heartbeat. As an added bonus, Chef James is a great guy and is as enthusiastic a «foodie» as a guy can be.

FYI Chef James’ is not open on Mondays. But I still love it.

So he’s now open on Stevens St. Where? Does he have a website? I’ve never seen such a poor job of marketing and promotion in all my life. But I do LOVE his Cheesesteak!

I heard he reopened & went over on a Fri afternoon to p/​u whatever sounded good. It’s all carry-​out. He has an area set up for samplings for catering. I ordered the fish tacos, philly hoagie, and a veggie wrap for my non-​meat eater friend. I also threw on a cup of soup which was Mexican corn chowder –umm! Everything was incredible! He whipped it all up in about 10 min. He’s personable & professional. Great to see this as a business reopening fresh not just a another victim of the recession.

He’s moved over to Stevens Street and is only offering catering and some carry out.
