My son and I had a great experience in the Verizon store while upgrading our phones. Carlos, the manager, Samuel and Stephen were all incredibly helpful. They were kind and patient with all of our questions. They really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable with using our new devices and helping us transfer the information between phones. Thank you very much! It was a pleasure doing business with you! I highly recommend this store!

I chose to drive out to Geneva from my home in Sycamore to go to this Verizon establishment, mostly because of the rave reviews I read(mostly on Google, but a few here on Unilocal). I’d been warned away from the DeKalb Verizon store by friends and coworkers, so I figured that if I was going to drive 45 minutes away to the next store, I should do my research and see if that one is just as bad. The overwhelming positive reviews for this store were no lie: this was possibly the easiest, most friendly and painless experience I’ve had at a cell phone store. We worked with Carlos to change our account structure and get new phones. He was professional and friendly, helped us get set up with a minimum of fuss, and we walked out the door happy. Definitely worth the drive!

Excellent service. The staff was extremely helpful and very efficient. The store had everything in it that was expected and the staff was very knowledgable. Samuel was very courteous and helped me with many things including getting my new phone set up with my specific preferences and educating me on the different brands of Bluetooth headphones. He was very educated on the different phones and accessories. There was also another sales associate, I believe his name was Steve. He was very courteous and professional. The store manager was very attentive and very appreciative of the store’s customers. I would not hesitate to go back here because I know I will get great service!

This Verizon store is by far the best store in the area for customer service and wait times! Walked in and was helped immediately! Both Steven and Samuel were great to work with. Very knowledgeable and helpful!

Have been to this store on several occasions for purchases and support. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Wait times have been relatively short to none — they always have several staff in the store — Steven has been really good to work with.

Wow where do start. I was planning on adding a new line to my family plan in the upcoming weeks. On black Wednesday I left my phone at the office and could not get it until Friday. I decided it would be a good day to add a line because I’m lost without my phone. I entered about an hour before they close and the salesman was with a customer. I wait for him to finish and he asked me what he could do for me. I tell him the story and how much I needed the phone. Then he asked me why I needed it and not in a helpful way but a suspicious way and that made me feel a little strange. I asked him if he had the note 4 in stock he says yes we have lots of them, getting ready for the holidays. He then told me about the edge plan and how it was a no brainer to just pay the extra thirty dollars a month for it. I told him thanks but no thanks because I was not comfortable with that and it worked out to more than full retail. He said ok and then went in to the back. When he came out he said sir actually I don’t have the phone you want. I was shocked because he said they had tons of them. It was clear that he did not want me to sign a contract but instead do the edge plan. Maybe bigger commissions. It was horrible business practice. I will tell everyone I know about this experience. I was truly disgusted.

Atrociously slow service, not enough equipment to assist customers trying to upgrade their devices, and for a store selling Verizon products, you’re lucky to get a single bar of LTE service in the store. It took over an hour to get someone to actually help us just activate our phones which we’d ordered previously.
