A local institution with something for everybody. I grew up coming here often since a relative worked at the company, so I’m quite nostalgic about visiting now. Their Apple Cider is one of my absolute favorites, and the newer flavors of Juices like Fuji and Strawberry Summer Stomp are also delicious. I recommend beverages first and foremost, and then fresh produce like Cortland Apples and Cherries when they’re in season. The remodeled store is very, very«winery» feeling, which is a little disappointing. While I love having a one-stop-shop for Red Jacket products and other local food like Maple Candy, Caramels, and Honey, the prices are on the high side. Same goes for souvenirs like pottery, which are beautiful but too expensive. There’s a nice selection of Red Jacket logo products too, like Tote Bags, Shirts, and Mugs. There are some cute children’s products as well, like Aprons and knit Hats. A great place to pick up some local flavors, though I wish it was more like it used to be in terms of ambiance!

I have shopped at Red Jacket Orchards since I was little, so it pains me to give it such a negative review. I no longer live in upstate NY, but when I’m home visiting, I always make a point to go to Red Jacket to stock up on apples and other fruit-related things. This past time, however, I was shocked to find that they remodeled the interior so that it looks more like a winery than a rustic farm store. Going along with this shinier«winery» look, the prices have gone through the roof. This used to be THE place to get apples. This time I walked out without buying a thing, and I don’t plan to return soon. There are plenty of other, more reasonable places to buy apples in the area. Incidentally, since the makeover of the store happened quite recently(most likely summer 2014), all of the photos posted here are of the old version, before it was remodeled.

This place is great! They have wonderful staff that genuinely care about the products and are willing to help you. They will give free samples of their juices, jams and apples which is always a plus! It is a beautiful little store with a range of high quality local products. Try the Fuji Apple juice. You will never drink normal apple juice again after tasting this nutritious, cold pressed juice.

I am a huge fan of their juices which you can buy in a local Wegmans. If you like a deal you can get juices near their sell by date quite reduced. If you like to can or cook you can get large boxes of fruit, again reduced they cook up just fine. Of course they have plenty of full priced items but I’m a bargain shopper.

This was a very cute place that sold farm fresh produce(fruits and vegetables). There is also a little section where you can sample some of their juice products, like Strawberry Apple, Grape Apple, Joe’s Summer Blend, and Apple Cider. My favorites were the Strawberry Apple and the Joe’s Summer Blend as they were tasty and refreshing. I also liked some of their body butter products from Essence Candle(particularly the Oatmeal Milk and Honey scented one). +Strawberry Apple +Joe’s Summer Blend +sampling offers

From the tips: For the for the juice not the store, tried the tart cherry stomp. Was quite good with a good sour cherry flavor but a refreshing apple flavor as well to help it along, reminded me of some Eastern European juices but a little bit sweeter. A bit pricy

a farm standy market on the edge of town from the people that make some of the best sweet ciders around. i am from CT and have been buying their products at the local whole foods for a while and was happy to cross paths with their store. they had more sample ciders than i have ever seen in one place. if you are an apple person, this is the place for you. they aren’t just about cider here though — big selection of cheese, sauces, fruits, vegetables. impressive array of things in a small space.

If you bought fresh fruit from Whole Paycheck, I mean Whole Foods, or Fresh Direct in the East Coast, then you most definitely bought fruit from Red Jacket Orchard. I became aware of the awesomeness of Red Jacket Orchard a couple weeks ago because they were one of the many generous sponsors of Musselman Triathlon in Geneva, NY. They provided all kinds of delicious fruit(two different kinds of plums, apricots, and apples) and the incredible fresh juices for the athletes(I didn’t compete, but my bf generously shared his food with me. Cheering is hard work.) We were both enamored with their lemonade, which is no ordinary lemonade. Red Jacket Orchard believes in the integrity of their fruit, so all juices are made by pressing the whole fruit and in small batches. You get the taste of the whole fruit, and not watered down sugary sweetness. No added sugar, and more impressively, no added water! The lemonade was made with lemon juice and apple juice. The sweetness of the apple juice was enough to sweeten the lemon juice. The combination was fantastic! We loved their products so much that after the race, we went to their store, which is just outside of Geneva. There, we got to sample the other juices they sold. Along with the lemonade, we got the strawberry apple juice. So sweet and summery. We also bought horseradish mustard, garlic scape pesto, and 10-lb sack of apples(the apples cost $ 4 after the 20% discount we received for participating in Musselman Tri). We love Red Jacket Orchard and this will definitely be a stop whenever we’re in the area.

Red Jacket juices are delicious but this review is for the Red Jacket store. This old store has been in existence for years and years. Back when the actual orchards were across the street(where Walmart is now) my family used to go apple picking every year and I have fond memories of Red Jacket in general. When I moved back to NYS in 2008 and was living in Geneva I loved going into this store as it brought back those childhood memories. No more. This store is suffering. First off it’s filthy inside. This place need some serious cleaning and dusting. All products were covered in dust! These products are NOT cheap folks. The right hand side of the store that houses the apples and produce has suffered the most. This past Saturday the product looked pathetic and over priced. The sign explained the price; weather from this past Spring. The blueberries and currants were off the charts expensive. Those 2 products are rotting on the shelves because no one in their right mind will pay $ 6 for a small package of this crap! Do the right thing Red Jacket. Clean your store and clean up the product and prices or we will not ever be back.

Amazing summer juices! I still have a bottle that I am savoring from NY that I brought cross-country. Try the Joe’s Summer blend or the rhubarb-apple. You will not be disappointed.

Red Jacket juices are so delicious! I’ve enjoyed them for many years but the best is getting to come to the Orchid where you can sample all the juices before you purchase. I love the new lower calorie Raspberry Apple Juice, it’s nice to have that option and it is so tasty! You’ll also find local seasonal produce, gourmet local products including cheese, sauces, dips, spreads and more. If you’re in area a stop at Red Jacket is a must!

I came across Red jacket Orchard products while I was walking at Union Square. I purchased Raspberry Apple Juice. I felt the taste like original. Never had any real taste before like this. So I went back again Union Square another day after looking at their schedule from website, and got few other flavors. I will continue drinking this Juce.

Every sip is like a cool breeze on a summer day… When people talk about New York’s great produce I think Red Jacket is the kind of place they have experience. The service at the orchard store is amazing and they have a great array of cooking spices so that you can really enjoy that glass of fresh Orchard juice. I first discovered this greatness at Red Dove Tavern and was so impressed that I just had to find the juice and take some home. The guy even equipped us with a cooler for the drive! Who wants to drive hours for juice, right? For this one –I WOULD! Luckily, Latham Fresh Market now carries a variety. The flavors are many but best of all, it is freshly pressed 100% juice. That’s right, all you fresh juice fanatics can finally get a good dose of apples without having to take cider. Thank you Red Jacket Orchards for perfecting your craft, using the best ingredients and being committed to creativity. P. S. Yeh, I’m an apple juice addict and darn proud of it!

Best apples in NY, hands down. Their juices are awesome as well. They also carry lots of locally made products in their farm store.
