Ross Dress for Less

I feel like I am a marked shoplifter in Ross. I asked what the deal was with the long pole on the carts and why I was unable to take a 45 lb. bamboo table among several other heavy home items I purchased to assist in getting the merchandise to my vehicle. I was told that they are used to monitor and keep track of customers throughout the store. Further, I couldn’t take it out of the store because it had a security device on it. Wow! To make matters worse, it was –11 outside and not even management offered to assist me in taking all my items to my car. This is what I define as a store that doesn’t belong in our nice suburbs treating us like common criminals. I’m embarrassed to ever shop there again.

Great place to buy hand bags.

I’ve been to this location twice, and haven’t found anything worthwhile. They seems to have a small selection of A LOT of things. Their shoes are organized like TJ Maxx (by size) but most of them were strange styles or colors. The staff that I’ve encountered have all been extremely friendly. My bf and I went here together the last time because he was looking for work shirts and he didn’t see anything either and overall wasn’t thrilled with the store. Also, the first time I was here, there was a woman that purchased a lot of items and had a cart full of dishes and glasses… but since the carts have those tall poles on them, she had to carry the things out and make multiple trips. She was alone, so her purchases were unattended. I think they need to provide assistance for people that make large or heavy purchases given that they don’t let you take the carts out of the store.
I’ll probably continue to stop in here when I’m shopping along Randall since you never know what will turn up in these discount stores, but I don’t see this as becoming a frequent stop for me.

This Ross Dress for Less location is absolutely one of my favs! It’s located right off Randall Road which makes it perfect for stopping by on my way back to the office. I’ve found a ton of great deals at this location, and they have a great selection! They seem to have a better selection here than at some of their other locations. I also love that it’s located in the same shopping center as Marshall’s so if I can’t find something here I can go right next door! On my last trip I bought a Jessica Simpson dress, a Ralph Lauren dress, a Calvin Klein sweater, and some BCBG shoes for under $ 100!
