SpringHill was the last stop on our wine tour and it was my favorite! Loved the live band and dancing, it has a great atmosphere. I was with my boyfriend, dad and stepmom so I think it’s a better place for a group. Used the Unilocal check in to get a cheese plate and bought a pizza too. The food wasn’t anything special but wasn’t bad either. I gave 4 stars because I wasn’t too impressed with the wine but j would comeback!

Wine was good. We did use the free cheese plate from the Unilocal check-in. But the waitress was super rude about it. She spent almost 10 mins at our table complaining about people who use this coupon and another coupon they have published in a local paper. Not really thinking I need to go back.

A nice selection of traditional wines, fruity wines, and even wine slushies. The live entertainment was fun as well. My only complaint is that the staff was a bit thin; I only saw my waitress after our meal was served after I went to go find her to ask for our check.

We had a very fun time. There was a wedding going on when we were there, but everyone meshed extremely well. The service was pretty slow, but they were slammed. The issue with that was we were on a tour, so waiting for the food etc. began to push the clock a bit. One of the things we ordered was the cheese plate; while we were waiting for our food, I decided to get my Unilocal on. That’s when I saw that checking in got us a free cheese plate. Our server said that it should be fine. However, ultimately, she brought both: the original order and the free cheese plate, which was quite a bit smaller, and she apologized, which, of course, wasn’t necessary, as they were giving us something free. Again, this is not a criticism, but just so you know, the free cheese plate is a few pieces, one variety, with a couple crackers, but the one on their menu has several varieties, a couple different crackers, and a few meats etc. It is quite a bit more substantial. The prices were great, even for an entire pitcher of sangria. Also, don’t worry, while it isn’t typically ideal, the outdoor, concrete dance floor suffices for a full moon walk.

What a fun night! This is my second time here. Glad i gave it a second chance. I had the Chambourcin and husband had the Merlot. They were pretty good. Later we tried the Cabernet. very good. Place was packed when we arrived at 830pm. Husband asked if we could sit at a table, owner immediately seated us. Waiter approached in a timely manner and we got the free cheese plate with Unilocal check in. was good. We did not see the waiter again but we were able to get drinks pretty fast at the bar. the band was really awesome. Music was super loud but everyone got involved and danced on the small dance floor. Brick house, happy, michael jackson. just good boogie music. Definitely older crowd and Bachelorette parties but we had a blast. Cant wait to come back.

In terms of friendliness of the staff this place gets 5 stars easily. Nice variety of local wines for tasting, and the free plate of cheese with Unilocal check in is a definite plus. They have a nice variety of flat breads that are made with fresh ingredients and are very tasty. The wines are good to very good. There are a lot of social activities here, including murder mystery dinners. Overall, a good experience.

We just didn’t have a good experience on our first visit. That being said, if you’re in the area on a wine tour, I wouldn’t skip it, it’s a pretty place and maybe, maybe we’ll give them another try sometime. Our server took some time to make it to our table, then when our glasses dried up, wasn’t around. In fairness they were busy and she was probably busting her butt running around, but we ended up calling it a night after giving up on a 2nd glass. In fact since we couldn’t even get another glass, we also gave up on ever getting a bill and calculated our cost plus tip, left cash and hit the road. Wine was enjoyed, not super memorable, but enjoyed. I would skip the pizza. We ordered mozzarella and garlic. It was very disappointing. Was really hoping for pizza oven quality homemade pizza. This may have been homemade crust but it was undercooked and very small. If they had a outdoor pizza oven that you could get fresh pizza outside it would be awesome!

Sad I didn’t think to look for the Unilocal!check in deal! That definitely would have improved my experience. We were here on a gorgeous afternoon and sat outside. The space is lovely, but the view is lacking compared to other wineries in the area. We shared a sample tray of the wines, and my personal favorite was the blackberry. I thought the apple and cherry wines were both just awful. We did sample other non-fruit wines, but nothing was memorable. The food was ok. A lot of it seemed processed and low quality. The daily special Greek salad was very fresh and a good value though. I also didn’t like that the food was served on styrofoam plates — way to detract from the whole ‘classy’ ambiance they’re so obviously trying to go for with the décor! The service was friendly but very slow. I probably won’t be back.

This is a cute little winery. My husband and I did a tasting and it was pretty good. I enjoyed the black raspberry wine and even bought a bottle to take home. My husband enjoyed the merlot. We did not eat so I have no idea how the food is. My major complaint would be that there was a band and the music was so loud we couldn’t even hear each other talk. We wanted to stay and try more wines but it wasn’t worth the bleeding ears. The service was very slow, but she did bring us waters right away which I thought was nice. We had to go up to the bar to cash out bc we didn’t see her and we just wanted to get out of there. All in all, I was really happy with the wines but that band was obnoxious. Also, this is definitely an older crowd.

Wines were better than average, service was slow but courteous. They would not accept the Unilocal check-in coupon from our table

We went to the east side of Cleveland to explore a park we had not been to yet. After leaving the park a little thirsty and hungry, we found this winery. The location is great with ample outdoor seating. The inside was a little dark and not a warm environment. The menu was adequate, and the wine selection was as expected in Ohio. We tried the cabernet — which was OK. The issue seems to be the service — too few servers for the number of patrons. We waited way to long for our food and the order was incorrect so we waited a second time for the correct order. No offer was made to reduce the bill for the mistake. As it was the first order to come out took FOREVER! If you are in a hurry avoid this place! We would not go out of our way to return! Too bad — nice building and nice outdoor patio!

Live music, excellent service and tentative bar staff. They were a trip and defiantly made the bachelorette party feel welcome! This is where we completed most of our dare cards(bachelorette party game) and it was a blast! The wines were good, I would not say it was an excellent selection but I did enjoy them and will be going back.

Granted we went on a very muggy night, it was really hot inside. No AC at all. The band was awesome, but this band was really loud for being inside the restaurant. My guests had to all yell at each other the whole time. We checked in on Unilocal for the free cheese tray. Our server had never heard of it. Which was no big deal, she asked another server and she had never heard of it either. Finally the manager, who was busting her butt all night came over to see how we were and we asked her and she brought over the plate immediately. The wine was decent, but that’s about it. I wish I had better things to say about this place. I’ll definitely check out some other wineries in the area before I’m back at Spring Hill.

Although I appreciated the free cheese plate, compliments of my Unilocal check in, I can’t say that I thought this place was awesome. Maybe I was too sober. Or maybe I was weirded out by the people my grandparents age shaking their groove thing on the dance floor. Dunno. But I can say that the Riesling I had was pretty good. Service was not so hot when I stopped in. Granted, it was an hour before closing on a Saturday night and the place was packed, but did that waitress really need to hip check me? The band was playing so loud that it was tough to order or talk to my friends. I think this caused me to drink my wine faster than normal so I wasn’t just standing around awkwardly. Maybe that’s a strategic move on their part to sell more wine. The people lucky enough to snag a table and some food seemed to be having a better time than I was. I’d definitely like to go back and try some different wine and more food than the free cheese. It seems like a nice place to hang out, drink a bottle of wine or five and boogie oogie oggie if you’re into that sort of thing. Or in my case — people watch.

Anywhere I can get free cheese is okay with me! In all seriousness, though. Their wine is fantastic! The service is great and they have one of the biggest sitting rooms in the area. See, I love tasting wine. Maybe my taste in wine is terrible — yes. But at Spring Hill, they offered the most generous tasting of 8 or 9 wines for $ 5. You can’t beat that! And they brought it to your table! So you didn’t have to worry about the face you made after you didn’t like the Peach wine or whatever. It’s the perfect setup. They also serve food — salads, wraps, sandwiches. Which is perfect for a winery. Especially when you have to drive back to Cleveland. I highly recommend stopping here if you are visiting the Geneva area. And check in! You get free cheese!

Free cheese plate with Unilocal check in? You had me at «free cheese», Springhill. And kudos to you for utilizing Unilocal’s free biz tools! People L-O-V-E check-in offers, especially me. I’m pretty sure this winery will be a must-stop for my family from now on. The live music, ambiance, food and wine keep you wanting to return. I can’t remember the name of the red wine we ordered, but it was peppery, easy to sip and delicious. Needless to say we ordered two bottles. My Mom, who’s allergic to wines made with grapes really enjoyed the other fruit wines, particularly the apple! The pretzel stick appetizer was buttery, hot and a huge hit. Simple, nothing special, but good! The cheese steaks came on warm baguette with lots of grilled onions, peppers and mushrooms. The bread tastes homemade, but I would have liked more melty cheese. With each sandwich you get a veggie or fruit plate and your choice of chip flavors. This place was packed and yet our server was spot on all night long. She catered to our younger guest with icee cider and suggested a cheese pizza when he didn’t like his wings. She was also really quick and just sweet all around. I can’t wait to come back here in the summer! Or better yet, it’s so cozy I might want to even check it out after a fresh snowfall like a little elf.

This place is beautiful, the food was good, but I really wish the service was up to par. Upon entering, it was clear this place has been remodeled or is new — it looks really nice. The main entrance is into the winery/lounge/store with plush sofas, a large sampling area and bar for winery purchases. It was open, welcoming and looked like a place I would never want to leave. Furthermore, we were warmly greeted by the bartenders who informed us where we can put in our name to be seated. We quickly move from there to be seated outside, along the rock wall where we can see the band playing, the dance floor, the building itself and the small water feature right outside the property. Overall, 5 stars on greeting, appearance and ambiance. I’d even expand that to 6 stars. This place looks great. However, the experience was marred by our terrible service. As we were seated, our server walked by to say she would be right back in a minute. We waited for 15 minutes before she finally came by: strike 1. Ordinarily I wouldn’t have cared if service was a little slow — especially for the size of the outdoor space. You could see the servers were hauling: ahem: butt to keep up with the location. However, we were without any hope of water(and wine) while in the beating sun outside. Actually, we were without wine and food for 30 more minutes. Yes, it took 30 minutes for the server to return with our order of wine and two salads, which came to the table together: strike 2. I would have loved to have been served the wine sampler(or water) so we could sit and enjoy the band and awesome people watching. Instead, I counted every minute between when we ordered and when we had some form of nourishment. Speaking of the food, the salad was very good. And priced at $ 4, I would definitely get it again. It really wishes we had been served the bruschetta we had ordered but never came: strike 3. The wine, however, was not something I would get again. They were ranked from 0 to 4 on their sweetness scale, which they gave descriptions for. I’m pretty sure I started grimacing from overly sweet wine by the time the 1.5’s rolled around. If I go back, it will be for the outdoor entertainment. More importantly, I’ll stick to ordering my wine from the bar, where the service is friendly and efficient.
