Lonely parking lot. Store large. Good cell phone and accessory display. Welcome was immediate upon entering the door. My Apple operator concern was addressed promptly. The solution was quick and easy. A good explanation was provided. My error was corrected at no cost I was impressed with the result

Quick help and great service by Zach in getting my Samsung S5 free from glitches and with the latest Samsung and Sprint updates. I’ve been getting service at this Sprint store since it opened about 10 years ago, and like almost every place in Austin area, staff rotates in and out, but I’ve always received the help or products I need.

This is the worst store I have ever been in. I don’t just mean phone stores, I mean any store. Every employee gives different information and none of them know which end is up. I went in for an upgrade(iPhone 6), which when I asked if they still had any they said yes, after being told the wait would be an hour, I walked around mall a bit, when I went back I waited almost another 2 hrs. For them to tell me they didn’t have anymore. So I went bk about 3x so I just got an android. I told the young man I had not used an android in about 4 yrs. he went on to bash Apple for poor business ethics, he was very condescending. I told him I wanted my phone put on that machine so I wouldn’t lose any numbers, or photos, he said oh don’t worry, he copied my contacts thru Facebook. I lost ½ of my contacts and ALL my pictures were gone! It’s a nice phone, but I’ve been using iPhones for about 4 yrs., so long story short, I still wanted iPhone, so I called to make sure I was still in the 2 wk. period, he said he could not tell me over the phone, so I went in a couple of days later, salesperson said it ended yesterday, I told him I had called in to say I wanted an exchange, he said I should call sprint customer service, I did, in the store and they said, the fact that I called in before the end of the 2 wk period that it would be honored, a very very long story short is that the manager there would not honor that, and instead of just saying no, he said,” what are you doing calling customer svc anyway? I said your employee said I should, he kept trying to twist the conversation around saying that I didn’t understand, he was rude, insolent, arrogant, and incompetent. I usually give great reviews, if I go somewhere and it was not good or bad, I don’t even give it a review, because I realize it’s not a perfect world and we all have a bad day now or then, but I couldn’t let this go. I have NEVERBEENTREATEDSORUDELYORUNFAIRLY. Do not go to this store, I repeat do not go to this store, if you want a pleasant experience, good service, to be treated fairly then go anywhere else, I’m sure you will be treated better. I am going take this to the next level up the corporate chain, after yesterday I started wondering about Sprint, because if they have managers like this working in their company. It just makes me question their integrity, and a total disregard for customers. I will be leaving sprint when my contract is up. I really hope this review can help someone.

I went into the Sprint store today to get some advice on my device and different storage options. There were only two employees in the store, which on a Saturday morning I can understand as it was relatively slow. My main issue was with the customer service. I like to have hard copies of all my pictures, documents, and other data. I do not like uploading on to the cloud due to sprints slow network. I also find files hard to access and organize this way. The young man that was assisting me was nothing short of condescending and even added in «this isn’t 1998, everybody stores on the cloud». My concerns and my needs were totally disregarded, he became more and more argumentative as I became more insistent that I did not want to store on the cloud, and I only wanted to know what my other options were. Finally, when his only recommendation was that I upgrade to a new phone, I said«If I do upgrade it’ll be with verizon.» at this point he told me there was no need for me to be in a store anymore and I can just get out of the store and go to Verizon. When I asked for a store managers number or district managers number he told me «I have no numbers or names to give you». At this point I told him I didn’t appreciate his attitude and I would just speak with his co worker before I lost my temper. At this point he insisted that I was threatening him, and told me I needed to leave the store. His co worker did give me the business card to the manager, who completely disregarded my concerns and in no uncertain terms told me he didn’t really care and I was more than welcome to call whoever I wanted. This store, by far has the worst customer service, and least knowledgeable employees of any store in any industry I have ever been to. I was so furious with the way I was treated and spoken to that I went directly over to Best Buy, canceled my contract with Sprint and switched to Verizon. if you are absolutely set on Sprint, go to a major electronics retailer, not the Sprint store. I will most certainly never be back under any circumstances.

I can only echo the previous review, though written long ago. DONT’ GOTOTHISSTORE!!! Our Sprint contract was going to end Aug. 11, 2013. We decided to upgrade to 2 android phones(specifically Samsung Galaxy 4) and checked Verizon, US Cellular, Consumer Reports, etc. We went to the Sprint store and said we wanted the Galaxy 4 and asked at least 3 times about discounts, special deals. We mentioned we were long time Sprint customers. The sales woman said there were no discounts or specials. She also directed us to the HTC One phone. After checking the Consumer Reports article, we decided to buy 2HTC Ones and upgrading our contract for another 2 years. The next day I called Sprint to verify our corporate service discounts. While talking to the Sprint representative I mentioned that it was strange that there were no specials or discounts for renewing customers. The representative said that there were: even a buy one, get one free Galaxy 4. Needless to say I was angry. I told her what happened the day before. She talked to her manager, noted it on our account, and advised us to go back to the store and exchange the phones for the Galaxy 4. If there were any problems, call Sprint. The store manager acknowledged the buy one, get one free Galaxy 4. I told him that the sales woman lied to us the day before.(There were also activation charges she did not tell us about that Sprint billed us for later.) He said he would be glad to exchange the phones, but there would be a $ 35 restocking fee for each phone. He claimed there was nothing he could do about that. I immediately called Sprint. The representative read the notes from earlier in the day, put me on hold. When he returned, he said he talked to his managers who sympathized with our plight and were taking this up the corporate chain because of the dollar amount. He told me to go home, and I would hear something within 3 business days. On the first business day Sprint called to ask for a copy of the receipt to I can only praise the Sprint call center representatives and corporate account managers who went out of their way and took a lot of time to resolve this situation in our favor. Moral of the story: check out discounts and specials before going to a store and check the store on Unilocal or other site for reviews from past customers. OR, deal only online or on the telephone with Sprint corporate, or as both one Sprint representative and friend told me: go to Best Buy. By all means, stay away from the Georgetown Sprint Store.
