Overheard the clerk telling another customer that they are under new management and they must have new cooks too :(I ordered a combination fried rice and an orange chicken for lunch. The chicken was extremely chewy. I called to complain, they apologized and offered to replace it. Now for the combination fried rice: it was very oily(more than usual) and it tasted like lard or something similarly disgusting but by the time I tasted it, I had already hung up and complained about the chicken. Yuck Yuck and Yuck. Won’t order from this place ever again.

Awful, extremely disappointing. Used to go to this location all the time for Peking Palace but there was a change in management/staff. Didn’t know what to expect so decided to give it a shot. Not only was the staff unbearably impatient, rude, Unaccommodating, and just downright rude, the food also sucked and was cold in the middle, like they just reheated their leftovers or something. Their glassware also was not clean. severely disappointing as my whole family love the Peking Palace.

My family loves«Crispy Beef, Szechuan Style». We used to order it all the time from Peking Palace/Asia Café. Our first time back in about 4 months and the crispy beef was a soggy mess. Not crispy at all and loaded with sauce. Not even spicy like it used to be. Don’t know if management changed or new chefs or what but this is not at all what we got in the past. Sorry to say it looks like we will be on the lookout for a new restaurant that can get the crispy beef right. An update to this review: At the time I ordered the Crispy Beef, I also ordered 2 large Hot & Sour Soups. The soup was even more disappointing than the soggy crispy beef. Nothing sweey & sour about it. Mostly a thickened broth loaded with whole mushrooms and a few pieces of tofu. It came with 2 small bags of fried wonton strips that tasted old and stale. I even tried toasting the strips in the oven to no avail. Shame, Shame, Shame! I don’t know who the chef it but he/she should be fired. The downturn in taste and quality at what used to be a pretty good restaurant is just sad. Seems like the management at the restaurant is trying to cut corners by serving inferior food while keeping prices up. Once again — SHAME!!! My husband told me I should have taken it all back. He’s right, I should. Rest assured, this will be our last visit to this establishment.

Apparently Asia Café took over from Peking Palace and the change is horrible. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken and got chicken nuggets with some sauce– no pineapple, onion, or peppers. No fresh vegetables at all! The General Tso’s chicken was rubbery. When I complained about the sweet and sour chicken they were very rude. I used to really like Peking Palace because they used fresh ingredients. Will never go to Asia Café again– poor ingredients, short cuts on ingredients, and very rude management. Avoid at all cost!!!

Best general tso’s chicken I’ve ever had! I also tried their wonton and egg drop soup and it was super fresh and flavorful. Pretty sure this place is the best carry out Chinese food I’ve ever eaten! The staff are very welcoming and nice, plus the free tea is a plus :) ask them for a to go cup for tea if you get carry out and they’ll give you one! Great place.

To call this food vile would be a compliment! To call it «Chinese» would simply be a lie, not to mention an insult to the Chinese people and the great food culture they represent! This was quite simply the worst(allegedly) Chinese food I have ever tasted. I asked the man behind the counter if the Kung Pao Chicken contained celery(celery is my Kryptonite). He said no. Good! I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken lunch special to go. After a long wait in an almost empty restaurant, my order arrived. I then had to remind the man that the lunch special includes a can of soda. Upon arriving at my desk I discovered the dish was LOADED with, you guessed it… CELERY! After picking out all traces of the vile substance, I realized what the dish didn’t have; Szechuan Peppers(a quintessential ingredient for Kung Pao Chicken). It was also quite lacking in chicken. At this point I was too hungry to care. Then I tasted it. FEH! It was some chicken, vegetables, and a generic MSG-laced brown sauce. I ate 10% of it. The rest went where it belonged; in the trash. Do yourself a BIG favor and skip this place!

Food is at best OKAY– nothing to jump up and down about. Restuarant is nice and clean and staff are welcoming but still that doesn’t change the quality of the food.

this will be an updated review. So one night I ordered and one of the dishes had shrimp in it. And I felt cheated as they only skimped out on the shrimp and tried to be slick about it by bury it with veggies. So the next day, I called and spoke with the female owner. Wow, she was beyond rude and had the nerve to tell me that someone else in my house probably ate it. Long story short, I went there and the female said something I guess to her husband and he came out and told me that when I order something I eat it. I was like wtf?! I said who are you talking to? I lived in Japan and in Hong Kong and Asians arent rude as some are here. Mostly, in the DMV. I dont know why they feel compelled that they can say whatever to customers. Regardless, even though they partially fixed the problem, I will never dine here. If you order shrimp dishes beware, they like to cheat and skimp. No matter what the case maybe, they need to learn how to talk to customers and if your going talk to customers at least improve on your english so when your chewing out your customers you dont look like a moron.

It prob happens very rarely and I’m sorry that I can’t come back here because the staff is so friendly, but there was a small roache in my lo mein today. Fortunately spotted before eating any food. It was a good run, 10 years atleast, but it’s not something that can be overlooked.

This is a typical Chinese restaurant/carryout/delivery place. I guess not too many people come here because it’s at a relatively small strip shopping center hidden from the main intersections, seems like you have to go out of your way to find it. The dining area is relatively clean though there are 3 – 4 tables. The lady who takes the orders is pretty nice. I’ve been there a few times. No surprises, no thrills, you’ll get your typical beef and broccoli with rice. Hot tea, sauces, and plastic utensils are provided on the counter. I usually come for the Singapore noodles, which is flavorable and spicy. The only complaint is that they only accept credit card payment for over $ 10 charge.
