So far I haven’t had any problems that were mentioned by any pervious Unilocalers. The guy manning the cashier was nice and greeted me when I entered the shop. Since there were flavors that I haven’t tasted before I asked for a tasting cup before settling on Taro. Plus, there are loads of toppings to choose from. The establishment was clean and neat, so I know I’ll be coming back another time.

Beware. I was in here the other day to get my choice of frozen treat, the pump sputtered and spat out a semi-liquidity mixture. This was no big deal for me until I ate a spoonful of what I thought was just half frozen yogurt but turned out to be a whole lot of industrial machine disinfectant combined into the yogurt mixture. I started retching right away from the smell of the disinfectant and couldn’t help myself but make a bee-line for the bathroom and just started throwing up. My mouth and throat burned for hours and tasted of metallics well into the next day. I can’t even begin to describe how extremely irresponsible this is. The experience was made worse after I informed the only person working there of what I just consumed and she sort of just had this stupid smile on her face. She muttered something about how her manager is the only one making all the yogurts and just stood there like I was making it up. No apology was even remotely offered. Furthermore, she refused to try it for her self or even consider taking the machine off the serving line. All I could think about as I was leaving was how this place is just waiting for young kids who don’t know any better to be poisoned. Any place in the food industry place that can’t separate their cleaning chemicals from the foods they are serving is by my book as bad as a place with cockroach and rat infestations. Seriously, you cannot be more literal about a place that serves poison. Never going back. Yolavie has lost me as a customer for life.

It’s yogurt. It’s frozen. It’s friendly. It’s 49 cents per ounce which is fair given other local offerings. Lots of flavors and a clean store. They seem to change out flavors regularly.
