²⁄₃ roll specials make it really affordable. Sushi is great and fresh. They also do delivery! My favorite is the sweet potato tempura and and spicy crunchy salmon =]

The cashier can sometimes be a space cadet, but the chefs are always on their game.

This place is perfect if you want to grab a really quick bite near campus. The rolls are super cheap, but that doesn’t mean they lack flavor. I always get the sweet potato rolls. Whenever I come, the staff is super friendly and accommodating. The sushi is made right in front of you and you can have some complimentary tea while you wait for your food. The ambiance is super casual.
They have various appetizers (looking forward to try the spicy shiitake), soups and salads, udon noodles, don bowls, sushi/​sashimi, etc.
Always check online for deals because they always seem to have some!

Sushi was good, nothing spectacular but excellent value ($ 27 delivered for 4 rolls). Sakura roll was the best of the bunch.

I’ve been wanting to try this place from all the great reviews I’ve read. The staff was super friendly and service is fast! Buffalo is not a great place to be if you’re a sushi lover, but this place definitely does fresh seafood justice. Try all the sashimi and the Sakura roll, you will not be disappointed! #sushitime #orsexytime

On my way out of work, and onto a meeting the other evening, I was craving sushi. Not wanting to go over to Wegman’s, I hopped on Unilocal to see where the closest sushi to my meeting was, and lo and behold, Sushi Time came up. Not only was it within a mile of my meeting location, but they had online ordering! Yipppeeeeee!
I took a look at their menu and picked out the Shrimp Tempura roll, avocado roll, crunchy spicy salmon roll, and tuna avocado roll. I ordered the avocado roll separately. They have a 3 roll special, so I grouped the other rolls together. The total came to $ 15.50 for 4 sushi rolls. Unheard of, price-​wise! I placed my order online, arrived when it was scheduled to be done, and waited about 5 minutes in their dining area. It’s actually pretty nice!
The sushi itself was packaged nicely, and even came with a miso soup that was salty and awesome! I absolutely LOVED the sushi. Nice thick rolls, fresh fish and other ingredients. It totally hit the spot! I would absolutely order from here again. $ 15.50 for 4 good quality sushi rolls?! YEP, sign me up!
My only complaint is with the soy sauce — it’s the same as what you get when you order Chinese food. I wish it were actual sushi soy sauce, which to me tends to taste a little more concentrated and stronger than the Chinese soy sauce.
Otherwise, BRAVO Sushi Time! I plan on ordering from here again, and would like to eat in sometime too. Great place!

Decided to try Sushi Time when they were advertising a deal through the eatstreet app! I ordered 2 veggie rolls, and my friend ordered spicy tuna. We had stopped by to pick up the orders, and the employee said there would be about a ten minute wait, and offered us some complimentary tea to drink while we waited. The restaurant itself is pretty small, and looks more like a take out restaurant rather than a fancier sushi place. I think its great for a quick bite, and the prices are very reasonable. The lunch special has 3 rolls for 10 dollars which is a fairly good deal. The veggie rolls were average in size, with big chunks of avocado and cucumber, and not overbearing with rice. Although, I couldn’t try the seafood rolls, my friends told me that they tasted really fresh. The staff was friendly and courteous. Overall, I would return to order more take-​out sushi!

Definitely one of the best if not the best sushi in buffalo. Good, fresh quality sushi made to order. The workers are all friendly and will take the time to help your order if you cannot decide on what to eat. They also deliever!!!

Was craving sushi one afternoon and decided to look up sushi places online. Found sushi time and was pretty impressed. Sushi was fresh and the chef I think his name was Vic, did a very good job helping me choose what I’d like on the menu. Would definitely come here again. They also deliver!

Cheap quality sushi! They don’t have any special rolls, just more of the usual ones you find anywhere but they certainly make their sushi reaaaaaally well. I enjoyed my crispy spicy tuna and chicken tempura. Will be back for more!

Would’ve been one star but the delivery guy was extremely nice, and made sure he apologized and the prices are decent. But basically, it took LITERALLY 1 hr and 30 minutes for my food to arrive. It’s not like I ordered a lot of things. I ordered probably 4 or 5 items. I called the restaurant about 45 minutes after my order was placed, and the guy on the phone reassured me that it would come in 15 minutes, but it didn’t come until about another 48 minutes. (Yes I timed it.) The food was mediocre. I didn’t like the Shrimp Temura Udon and my niece really didn’t like the sushi, however, my nephew loved his food. Anywho, luckily I’m only visiting from Boston, so I know I won’t be ordering here anymore.

No nonsense sushi.
It’s served quick and fast on foam plates with plastic cutlery and mass produced chopsticks. So, don’t expect to impress anyone with culture by coming here.
The sushi is of fair quality and it works in an absolute pinch. Good selection with great pricing. You’re not paying for the ambiance here. I’d liken it to a real Japanese sushi joint that serves quick and fast to train commuters from a little hole in the wall.
Come for the sushi, not for the venue. Lunch special runs you $ 10 bucks for 3 rolls and soup or salad. Save yourself the trip to Maple and just come here.

Great price for sushi. I always get the lunch special or dinner roll special. There is free hot tea and wifi. Service time is average as there is usually only 1 chef. I never had a bad experience and I have been there 4 – 5 times. Good place to go for reasonably price sushi.

Small establishment but really good prices and delicious sushi! Their soup could be alittle less salty though.

Prices are reasonable. Had the miso soup, Philly roll, shrimp tempura roll, and an order of vegetable tempura. Rolls are slightly smaller than average, but really good! The smoked salmon in the Philly roll was very tasty. The tempura was crisp and not soggy, (light batter and not dripping with oil).
My only negative is that we ordered online and asked for delivery and it would have taken at least an hour to deliver to us even though we were only a 5 minute drive away.

One of the better sushi places in the Buffalo area. I am very picky when it comes to sushi because of my Japanese heritage. I love the prices and also the delivery (even though you need a min. of $ 10). I have ate there twice and ordered twice and will continue to do so.
The only negative is the location is kind of out of the way though their lunch and dinner specials are worth it.

Since my original review, I have gone back and tried the katsu chicken box. It was pretty good. Not the best katsu chicken I have ever had, but I enjoyed it. They could give you a bit more sauce for it, though.

I’ve never tried shrimp, crab, lobster and the list goes on so what do I order at a sushi restaurant? Well, I was talked into getting the sweet potato rolls… they are DELICIOUS! Anyone that doesn’t like seafood, try them!

I love sushi time! Whenever me and/​or my boyfriend are in the area we always make sure we stop there before we leave. We’ve probably gone back there maybe 15+ times NEVER disappointed I don’t understand the bad reviews. The prices are pretty good for the amount of sushi you get. Love this place, wish they would open up another location more near downtown.
