I grew up eating Blimpie’s back in NYC, so it’s always a bit of nostalgia for me when I eat here. I still think it’s better than Subway. Though the bread has gone down in quality these past few years, the meat is impeccable – freshly sliced, not pre-​cut. They guys that work at this particular location are usually on point. I really only had one irritating experience where, after telling the guy exactly how I wanted my sandwich, he proceeded to ask me every step of the way how I wanted my sandwich. Even his co-​worker looked at him funny during the exchange. I wonder if he was high? Anyways – Blimpie’s is the shit, and you should eat there.
