I was with a friend at Safeway which is where this Starbucks is located. They have a nice lounge area with tables and chairs and plenty of Safeway store flyers. I just ordered a cup of coffee while I was waiting for him to pick up a few groceries. Here’s the reason for the 3 star rating. I only drink coffee hot, no iced anything, and I only like black coffee, no cream, sugar, or flavoring. I don’t like cappuccino, Frappuccino, or latte. So the black coffee I got didn’t taste much different than anyone else’s. It was a good dark roast. The service was fast, the price was a little higher than places like Dunkin Donuts. I guess if you like specialty coffee this is a good place to go, they have plenty of choices.

Luis is just such a great and friendly person to deal with before you have had coffee in the morning! Always has a smile! And the drinks are always perfect!

This Starbucks is in a Safeway, but it’s my favorite in the new neighborhood. They sell pastries, snacks, and water like you see at other Starbucks. Their baristas are the friendliest I’ve come across in Gilbert, and they still make the Salted Caramel Mocha! It’s great to catch a drink while grocery shopping or before getting my nails done down the sidewalk.

You won’t be disappointed at this Starbucks. It’s inside Safeway so it’s never been busy when I’ve stopped in. The service is friendly and the drinks made to perfection!
An extra bonus: a parking spot upfront reserved for Starbucks customers! Nice!!!
