This place has fresh pizza. you can order it when you get there or online. I love that you can add as many toppings as you want and sauce. It’s all in front of you so you see how fresh the veggies and meat are. They also have gluten free! I will definitely be back!

Good pizza. Typically friendly employees. However cleanliness in the dining area is not so good. The tables are almost always dirty. I asked for mine to be cleaned and it was left wet. I dried it myself. As I sat and ate my pizza I watched the next 8 customers clean their own table by brushing the food and crumbs on the floor. During the entire time I was there I did not see 1 table cleaned by a staff member even though they walk right past the dirty tables as they deliver the pizzas to the customers and on occasion they had no customers. Annoying because this not the first time I have noticed this. s

The lady that did our toppings asked every time any other vegetables??? Everytime… so loud and I couldn’t talk at all! She was to busy asking the same question again. Totally slowed down the line and just made things unenjoyable before I even got a chance to pay. Foods good though!

This place deserves 5 stars for product, but I knock them on delivery. Note to management: when trying to provide a personal experience, you have to hire personnel. The friendly, but seriously overworked, employees can only do so much with only 2 hands each. And I’m not even allowed to tip them for their great job. I sure hope these kids are being well-paid.

I really love the concept behind this place; a ready-to-make personal pizza with unlimited fresh toppings cooked quickly and to perfection. Not to mention the price tag, coming in around $ 8−9/pizza. Uh yeah, sign me up! I almost always get the Rustic Veggie on wheat crust and add a few meats. My boyfriend is also a huge Pieology fan and takes full advantage of the unlimited toppings; his pizzas are nearly too heavy to carry with one hand, lol. He always requests that they cook his a little longer, and the employees are happy to oblige. We’ve eaten at Pieology enough times to know what to expect: swift, efficient service, a clean dining area, and that we will leave feeling stuffed with some leftovers for later. Can’t beat it!

I love this place. Always good and bad about places. Bad, I would never order over the phone again. I have 2 times and when you order over the phone your order is either wrong or they barely give any toppings. The first time on pizza was not made or even written down. The second, I ordered with pepperoni, mushrooms and olives. I opened it and was like what the hell. They was about 6 pepperoni, about 10 pieces of olives and a few mushroom pieces. Other times were great. You choose your sauce, cheese/s, then veggies, meat, etc. They have minced garlic so can add a little extra flavor. I love their pepperoni. Its mini ones and they curl and crunch up when baked nice and crispy. They aren’t all soggy like other places. I always ask for extra pepperoni. They have a lot of different toppings and also have a little menu if you are unsure of what you want. You can also get either regular or wheat crust. The wheat is healthier and you don’t really taste much of a difference when eating it. With the size you can share or have your own. I never realized until recently that inside the oven it says«Pieology» I thought was pretty cool so I took a picture

Considering my last experience was less than favorable(and I didn’t even Unilocal about it!), I’ll prove those who believe only negative Unilocal reviews exist right now. Went in on Monday the 11th around 4pm. Two guys working named Ryan and Jonathan. Both were very helpful and courteous. During the whole process, they weren’t loudly laughing and looking at their phones like the 3 gals working on my last visit did. My pizza wasn’t burned because their phone was more important. It was tasty and delish. Jonathan brought my pizza to me and was very polite. I would hope management could see that these 2 guys worked together well and great customer service was achieved. When you schedule 3 loud mouthed gals to work, customers get cardboard rated pizza and attitude that belongs outside of the workplace. Thank you Ryan and Jonathan!

The pizza here was good, The one star comes from the appearance of the store. There was trash everywhere on the floor. The store was being managed by inexperience kids and the manager obviously didn’t have a care in the world for customer service. Hope this place cleans up and gets a better working crew

I like that I can customize my pizza, but when I say a lot of mushrooms, I don’t mean add another 2 – 3 pieces… I’m not loading on a bunch of other toppings so if I want a primary mushroom pizza, then don’t be so stingy with them. It’s like a Subway for pizza, you pick a crust, a brushed topping, a sauce, a cheese, and walk along with your pizza down the row of veggie’s and meats to add. At the end it goes into the oven and I pay and wait for it to bake. I’ve had a good experience there and will be back.

It’s quick and easy, and you can pile on as many toppings as your heart desires. Eat half and take the other half for your afternoon snack, or share one with your shopping buddy!

Love the idea of a custom pizza. I tend to be a bit of a picky eater so I am constantly going to restaurants and having to ask to have items added or taken off of things to get the food the way I want it. Why can’t anyone just make things the way I like them? Is that too much to ask??? :) At Pieology you get the perfect pizza. Anyway at pieology you can choose between white and wheat crust, the type of sauce you want and a multitude of toppings. They’ve got pretty much every topping you could wish for. The wife and I get a pizza each and split one of their salads with candied walnuts and raspberry vinaigrette dressing and we each take about half of our pizza’s home for lunch the next day. I’ve also been to Mod Pizza in Morgan Hill and I like Pieology better.

On our way to LA, we stop by here for a quick lunch. I had never seen Pieology before, once they explained to us how it work, I thought it was a great concept, good potential to become the next big gourmet pizza chain. However, the pizza did not stand up for it. We orded a basic 3 cheese basic version and another heavily loaded with meats and everything. I am please they don’t care how much you want your topping but I don’t think they adjusted the cooking time, temperature, etc. The basic cheese came out alright but the loaded one came out under cook. In fact both aren’t really steaming hot, I found it diffficult to understand why would pizza came out only luke warm. May be it is just this one, will have to try them again lunch some other time. Like I said, love the concept, let’s perfect the pizza even though the dough aren’t hand made.

The food is great. The service is not. Every time we go it seems as though the people serving us are stoned. They just stare and move ever so slowly. They don’t seem to be functioning properly. They don’t spread the toppings out evenly. The customer service is extremely poor. I don’t feel welcomed and I feel as though I am burdening the person helping me with my pizza.

The pizza was decent but the service lacked. Everyone working there(minus ONE person) seemed to hate their jobs and wanted everyone to know… My biggest problem with the pizza was that it wasn’t cooked all the way and there was a nice layer of dough under my toppings. Will probably stick to Pizza Studio and Blaze from now on. On a more positive note, they have GREAT motivational quotes on the wall that you can read while you’re waiting in line.

Noelle’s Unilocal Notebook 2015 Came to Pieology with my son today. I love the fact that they open early. We ordered two pizzas– one cheese and the other pepperoni. I also ordered a bottle of water and apple juice. Service was friendly and fast. The good thing is they use gloves when making your pizza. Upon paying I noticed that the person who made our pizzas(Bianca) had long fingernails with dirt under them. It’s a good thing she used gloves when making our pizza. Hopefully, the management of this location are reading these reviews– and make sure their staff has clean and short fingernails. Noelle’s Notes Make sure your pizza person is wearing gloves when they make your pizza!

Love the concept. .. this is the Subway/Chipotle of pizza! For the newbies, its pretty simple. Its an assembly line: choose your crust(they have GF for an additional $ 2!), sauce, cheese & meats, then toppings. Toppings are unlimited, but just remember the more you add, the more soggy the middle will be. If you’re eating there, your pizza will be brought to your table once its done! The crust is thin, which I prefer but my son prefers his deep dish style so he said it was like eating crackers. Yet, he still said it was pretty good overall. Great location, clean, friendly service. For an 11.5″ pizza for $ 7.95, you can’t beat that!

I first discovered this place in San Diego and immediately fell in love with the idea! I was so surprised to find this place in Gilroy! of all places… Gilroy. To accurately sum up this place, it’s a Subway-style-make-your-own-pizza type of place. So many combinations to choose from and try. I stuck with garlic herb + marinara sauce for my base, added mozzarella and gorgonzola cheese, green bell peppers, sausage, pepperoni, onions, tomatoes(sliced), basil, and pesto drizzle. It was so good! Just be careful of how many toppings you put on because the crust is thin, so it may get soggy or not be able to withhold all that topping weight. I recommend getting your own pizza or multiple custom made ones to share. The crust is so light and thin that you don’t get that carb-overloaded feeling you do with Pizzahut or Costco pizzas. The best part is that you can get so much yummy pizza goodness for $ 8 – 10 and they come out in 5min! We will definitely be back!

Good, fast, friendly service. Great tasting pizza using fresh ingredients. Custom pizza: marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, mushroom, black olives, tomatoes, pepperoni, ham and spicy chicken. Crust could have been a little more crispier for me and I was also feeling the wall of inspirational quotes.

Pieology is to pizza as Subway is to sandwiches. Great atmosphere. Also while you wait in line they have this awesome wall of quotes. You could either create your own or choose one of the 7 signature pizzas. Number 2&7 are the most popular. The herb butter is a must try. Unlimited toppings no extra charge that’s pretty sweet! Pizzas are only $ 7.95 unless it’s a cheese pizza(number 1) then it’s only $ 6.45. They also have a substitute of a gluten free crust for only $ 2 more. The cinnamon sticks are also a must try. They also have herb butter sticks, full salads and half salads. If you’re a pizza lover then this is the place for you!
