I’ve been unhappy with my former optometrist for a while, and decided to look around for a new one! I found Dr. Lindower from a quick google search «best eye doctors in CT» lol and with his great reviews I went for it. My first appointment I was blown away, the staff at the front desk were so hospitable and made me feel welcomed. And the women who assisted me before i seen Dr. Lindower was AWESOME! She was so thorough, and walked me through every step, I’ve never been to a eye doctor who was so committed to providing the best care for their patients. When I was seen, I went over my concerns with my current contact prescription and he understood exactly what was going on and recommended me try some new lens and I couldn’t be happier. I recommend everyone go to Dr. Lindower :)

The staff is courteous and professional, the office and examination rooms are impeccably clean, Dr. Lindower is thorough in his examinations and places patient care above all else. Fantastic selection of frames.

I have been seeing (no pun intended!) Dr, Lindower for many years and always enjoy my office visits. His friendly manner and beautiful photos that he has taken over the years that are on his computer while I wait, are bonuses! Great staff (and patient care)! Front office is very good about following up — if they put you on a list for an opening and one occurs, they actually call you to fit you in! Not lost in the shuffle. Friendly office atmosphere. Dr. Lindower has great «bed-​side manner» and enjoys great experience and knowledge in his field. Been a satisfied patient at this office for years!

Back again for my annual visit. Dr. Lindower and his staff were friendly and wonderful as always. I can ask any and many questions and he never seems to be bothered even though he’s busy. He takes time and makes sure I understand. Now they offer online patient portal which is convenient and less paperwork to fill out at each visit. I love this place and tell everyone to visit here :)

My husband was extremely satisfied with his first visit to Total Vision Eye Center of Glastonbury. Went for a routine eye exam and the fitting of Contact lenses and left feeling like he got a new set of eyes! Great Customer Service and was blown away by the care and professionalism of the OD. Minimal waiting time and no pushy Opticians! He will be a long term patient and I plan to as well! :)

This a great place for eye care; Dr. Lindower and his staff are always very knowledgeable, friendly and ready to help. Our visits are very structured, informational and we always leave knowing we had the best care.
The office is always clean, well maintained; has informational pamphlets and videos playing; along with magazines and some light materials.
Dr. Lindower has great technology and a very good setup for testing your eye care and the process is efficient and quick.

I found Dr. Lindower through my vision provider’s website and was pleased to find the reviews were positive. I needed to have an eye exam on short notice in order for another purpose and the office staff was great about getting me in quickly.
Everyone was friendly and the experience was exceptional. They sent an email ahead of time to fill out the forms online ahead of my visit, so I could fill them out on my own time and not wait around and do it in the office.
When I arrived, I was taken directly in. The tests were all explained and any questions were handled with friendly, knowledgeable answers. The doctor was even able to diagnose a non-​serious concern I had been noticing for years. Martin also postponed the drops that dilate your pupils, as he was concerned with the bright conditions of the snow storm.

I went to Dr. Lindower for an eye exam and contact lens fitting on my husband’s recommendation. The staff was efficient and well organized, and Dr. Lindower himself was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain each test and finding in laymen’s terms. On my first visit, they were running 5 – 10 minutes behind, and Dr. Lindower actually stopped into my exam room to apologize and let me know about the slight delay.
Also a first for me was the fact that they allow you to «test drive» new contact lenses for a few weeks to ensure they are the right fit and prescription before you make the investment in purchasing them. Makes perfect sense to do so, but this was the first time an eye doctor had ever suggested such a thing.
Although Glastonbury is an hour’s drive for me, I will return there for all my vision needs. My former eye doctor, who is just five minutes from my house, could learn a thing or two from the staff at TotalVision.

Dr Lindower and his staff are very thorough, explain everything, and made me and my daughter feel like we got the best care. After several failed attempts at contact lenses, at another vision care specialist, Jaci and Dr Lindower helped my daughter successfully insert and remove her contact lenses. She loves her new look.

Dr. Lindower and his staff really impressed me with their skill, patience and attention to detail! I am a new patient and found them thanks to an insurance change. After dealing with a «big box store» eye center, this was a most welcomed change for the better! Their service was first class!

I’ve been looking for a new eye doctor for some time. My previous one was good, but his staff provided a terrible experience and was totally disorganized.
This was a totally different experience at TotalVision. I was immediately treated with respect. It was clear everyone there cares about you as a customer and patient. They explained everything very clearly and patiently answered every question.
Dr Lindower was amazing. He is extremely carrying and I felt confident with all his answers. It was important to him to know why I chose him.
TotalVision has an excellent selection of high end eye wear which is an important criteria for me.
The optician is amazing. She was so honest with what looked good on me and what did not I felt amazingly confident with my purchase.
Don’t feel tied to the local eye guy. If you have to travel, do it. TotalVision is worth it.

As far as eye doctors go, Dr. Lindower is knowledgable, personable, and respectful. Realizing that I didn’t really know what I’m talking about when it comes to eye care, he was not condesceding at all. He was patient and explained his answers to all of my questions. He was thorough, and when we discovered that my condition needed another expert, he was able to provide a recommendation. He was also great with my step-​daughter: kind, took her concerns seriously, but didn’t allow room for dramatizing her sight so as to get those most-​wanted, and seemingly cool, glasses.
His staff was awesome to deal with in terms of insurance. I highly recommend Totalvision for eyecare needs.

Dr. Lindower and his staff make customer satisfaction a priority! Sonya quietly and mischievously works to make each customer look fabulous. My husband came home looking ten years younger and very sophisticated! I came home with a classy bling look I would never have imagined on my own! I feel so special!

This was my first visit to Dr. Lindower. I wish all doctor visits were as pleasant. First, I was greeted by a very pleasant receptionist who seemed to have the front of the house well under control. Next the doctors assistant took me to an exam room where I waited for just a couple minutes for the Doctor to start my exam. Pleasant, professional yet personal, he finished my exam quickly. Next I had glasses fitted by a most pleasant and attractive tech. I have confidence that the two pair of glasses we chose will fit perfectly and be stylish.

Very friendly and efficient office. Everyone is always very courteous. They seem to offer the latest technology and I felt that I was well taken care of by Dr. Lindower. Also a good selection of glasses. Sonya is always very patient with me as I take forever to choose a pair of glasses.
