We shop at Home Depot stores at least once a week. However, I Will not shop at this Home Depot location ever again. Home Depot is listed as one of the largest dog dog friendly retail chains in the country and shocked that this location is not dog friendly. I have never had any issues bringing my dog to any other Home Depot in the Anne Arundel county area until I came to this one. Would rather shop at a Lowe’s or travel to Annapolis where my dog is welcome. Meanwhile on this particular day the parking lot is covered in ice, a lawsuit waiting to happen, and you’re worried about my dog.

Bottom Line: Your average Home Depot. Nothing spectacular, nothing particularly off-putting. Overall, this Home Depot is ok. I haven’t encountered any super enthusiastic employees here but if you flag someone down they are willing to help you. The store is just about as dirty as any other Home Depot. Something I really like about Home Depot in general is their Ridgid line of tools. Also, I like that you can pay for stuff online and then quickly pick it up at the front of the store.

I had a great shopping experience at this store tonight. I own a cleaning service and come here often. But today was just particular, the two ladies loading supplies in the cleaning supplies isle offered to help me find and reach out to the duster and were very happy to help me. The guy at the register asked me if i found eveeything i was looking for in such a nice way, he seems to love his job. The guy outside orginizing the shopping karts even helped me out to load everything into my car, this has never happened. He didnt even ask if i needed help, he nicely did it all alone. He was very polite and wish me a good night. Customer service like this deserves a good review and to be aknowledge. I own a business and i know how important customer sattisfaction means to a business. To the store managers: Keep treating your employees well and they will continue to reciprocate this way and love their job. Thank you.

I’ve shopped here for years, and have been impressed with how customer service keeps going from good to better to best. It’s pretty clear management here puts a lot of effort into selecting employees who are naturally friendly and helpful, then follow-up with training and incentives. Every employee seems to want to help, and they can, because they know the store, know their departments, and know their craft. It’s good to see this kind of service making a comeback! Well done!

Home Depot Glen Burnie has been a challenge in getting specialized services. In 2010 I tried to purchase new windows at my home and despite some visits there was no one who worked with me there so I went to Lowes which provided good service. This past year, I tried to purchase carpeting and window treatments at the same store and despite 6 visits meeting a different person each time, poor IT support, no one who knew the products being ordered, we were not able to finalize the order. I called the Asst Manager on one occasion to get help and was passed back to the same group. I did not get a sense that anyone really cared. They are all nice people and they are great if you have to buy an item but an integrated service is terrible.

It’s a typical home depot with all the items needed to fix up our crib! Customer service is easy to find in this place as every aisle we turned into we were greeted promptly and asked if we needed help.

It is a home depot, nothing that particularly makes it stick out from any other home depot.
