First-​run flicks, comfy rocker seats, nice staff. Nice to have the option of an independent, family-​run theatre.

The theater has been re-​vamped and it is clean, comfortable and definitely affordable. The staff is friendly and the specials they run are fantastic, like 5.00 Tuesdays! I enjoy my movie a heck of a lot more for 5 bucks than the 14.00 price in other theaters. I am pretty sure their regular price is 10.00 which still isn’t steep. They run a really good venue and I hope they are around for a long time, it’s definitely a plus for Glen Cove.

Happy they finally reopened after being closed for several years. It’s so nice to have a neighborhood movie theatre. Tuesday night movies are $ 5 per person. Clean theatre, reasonable concession prices & close to many great restaurants it you want to do dinner & a movie.

Great theater, nice and clean with plenty of seating. Tho it does get packed at certain times like 6 – 8 showtimes with kids out of school looking for something to do. Right next to a starbucks and a bunch of food joints walking distance away. Good slection of popular movies but they do go away a week or two after release to make room for another new movie which makes sense.
Altho if I had to find a flaw, it would be the showtimes are very early to say the least. Would be great if they showed a few movies at 11pm or 12. Most of the films end by 10 or 10:30. Personally I like later movies at night since most food places close earlier in the area it would give you time to eat at 8−9pm and still catch a late night movie. Or if you work late, could see a later movie as well which would be cool. I being one of those people that work till 10 or 11pm if a show is at 10 by the time I make it to theater the box office is already closed (been there done that) so with that being said thatsehy I give 4 instead of 5 stars. All in all love gc theater. (:

Since I would be seeing a movie today with my 90 plus-​year-​old parents, I called 6 theaters to find one that would have a route from car to theater that would not involve slush and snow. Glen Cove was the only one that said they had taken care to make sure there would be no problem for their customers. This speaks volumes about their concern for their patrons!

Kids pack 6 dollars very cheap for foods, sat on the side seats pretty comfortable, very clean, nice to have a movie theater in glen cove. Lights on the floor, red cushy seats

I went to see 22 Jump Street here and found the theater to be quiet and comfortable. There was hardly anyone in the theater, which probably has a lot to do w/​the fact that this theater was recently renovated, and everything from the seats to the carpet was replaced. The seats were very spacious and comfortable, and the arm rests between each seat could be moved up/​down. I don’t normally buy food/​drinks when I go to the movies, but it looked like they had a normal selection of food/​drinks. Overall, I’d come back to see another movie here b/​c of how comfortable the seats were.
