My favorite Einstein location! It is Always very quick and easy to get in and out. The employees are always very knowledgable and always have recommendations of what go get. I highly ref amend the cinnamon walnut pastry which is one of my favorite things to get from here!

Ok food, bad attitude. Cashier looked like she HATED her job and it’s not a pleasant experience for the customer. Didn’t even ask if it was a «to go «order and assumed it was. Didn’t give any utensils. Will try not to go back.

Mehhh I wavered between giving 2 stars and 3, luckily I’m in a «generous» mood. Einstein Bros is one of those places I remember from my childhood: warm, comfy, that smell of bagels… I haven’t been much since I was a child so that is still my memory. I was a little disappointed this past visit. Let me start off with my biggest pet peeve: shmeere. Who the hell decided to call the cream cheese«shmeere». You wanna know what it makes me think of every time? Well I’m gonna tell you anyway and ruin it for you too– I think of a dog poop skid on the grass when someone can’t get a clean pickup. Yeah, gross, just call it cream cheese. OK, now that I had my rant– the bagel. This past visit I got the nova lox bagel: plain bagel, CREAMCHEESE, salmon, capers, tomato, and red onion. Sounds delicious, I know; however, for $ 7 – 8, I’d expect better. Now, my mother always says that I practically make spreading cream cheese an art because I appreciate an even layer of cream cheese from center to edge– I’m sorry Einstein but you never do that! It’s always much thicker in the middle and doesn’t quite reach the edges. Particularly with salmon, the cream cheese gets too overpowering in the center. Also, they went way too light on the capers, which were all in the middle too. I guess this is why I don’t usually come here, because I know I can do it better. It isn’t bad, just not great nor worth the cost. The staff also wasn’t the friendliest, maybe that’s different if you’re a regular, but I actually saw an employee sneer at another customer when they turned away after asking them about something. Clean store, still kind of has that bagel smell but the smell of coffee is now stronger, decent place, but not somewhere I feel the need to visit frequently.

One of my favorite Einsteins simply due to the friendliness of the manager and staff. I’m sorry to say I didn’t note his name, but the manager who I’ve seen working on weekday mornings is always working hard and super friendly to customers. Sets a great example for his staff who mirror his level of service. Being a chain the food doesn’t differ noticeably from other locations but the people are definitely more friendly. I’d go out of my way to patronize this location over others in the area which aren’t as friendly.

I come here at least several times a week and it remains one of my favorite Einstein locations. What makes this different are the people, very friendly and willing to take the blame for a mistake and make amends. For example, my bagel got lost in the shuffle and I had to wait an extra minute for them to toast it for me while a couple of people passed me in line. They offered me a free drink which I declined as I already had a drink. The next time I came in the cashier remembered me and didn’t charge me for my breakfast. Now that is great customer service! I highly recommend the pretzel bagel too!

Went here during the happy hour with 25% discounts on all drinks and bagels. Lots of delicious spreads that run the gamut from savory to sweet, more than I really realized existed. Service was nice as well and the sandwiches were delicious as well.

Nice lunch spot, just wish their coffee was a bit stronger! Good coupons too.

This is not one of my favorite Einstein locations. The coffee is self serve, but there are too many Glenbard West students… especially on Saturdays when there is a football game. The cashier was surprised when I told him I would pay with cash(not exact change, mind you). This is the reason you work at a coffee shop. You don’t treat people nice!

Prezel Bagels! Love their shmears but you know they have them at Super-Target too w/out all the hassel of someplace that closes at 3 or 4pm.

I’ve always been a big Einstein’s fan, and having been to a ton of them around this great land of ours, this is one of the better ones. Even when it’s packed, they have some of the speediest and friendliest service of any Einstein I have visited. On top of that, the quality is your typical Einstein’s — tasty and fresh. Sure, you kinda pay a premium for it, but I wouldn’t call it ridiculous. And if you think it is, just grab a bagel and get your cream cheese from the grocery store… they hit you on the cream cheese, not on the bagel.

I love me a delicious shmear, and even sometimes I’ll spring for an(grossly overpriced) bagel sandwich. I have had two issues with this location, and the only reason I still go there is because its so close to my house. The people there need to stop talking so much TOEACHOTHER and pay attention to what they are doing. They forgot to put the EGG on my breakfast sandwich, and the last time I was there, they forgot the cheese. I’m sorry, but there is nothing more frustrating then getting all the way home and being too lazy to drive up and make them fix it. It annoys me when people behind the counter are just laughing at their own inside jokes, and yelling across to each other laughing while you wait. Customer service could use some help.

Only been here once and seeing the other review and realizing the onslaught of kiddies was not a one-off, I doubt I shall return. Food was Einstein’s usually mediocre self and while there was a large dining area(compared to most) it was overrun with children. Not teeny boppers but middle school youth. I don’t know when I was that age my guy friends wouldn’t be caught dead with a smoothie and I highly doubt they would have touched a bagel even if it was free! Oh well — times have changed. Take it to go!

This location is one of the many reasons why I never want to have kids. Nevermind an ipod, you might want to bring dynamite to drown out the noise. Still, without bagels I’d be severely malnourished. They’re also some of the tastiest I’ve had, so I reluctantly put up with the children. May I suggest a children’s section? Oh please, Einstein!

I like Einstein Bros. I have eaten there on occasion for the better part of more than a decade back in Kansas City when they were known as Bagel and Bagel. Anyway, on a recent stop with my family and sister-in-law’s family, my wife and sister-in-law each stood in line collectively for 30 minutes to get a freakin’ bagel. Not only is your establishment cramped as shit, but to add insult to injury, I have to wait 30 minutes for a bagel and cream cheese. That is horseshit. You know it and I know it. I’ll go back, but instead of Unilocaling about it, you will hear it from me directly. Shame on you.
