I can’t sew, but I use Jo-ann’s for craft supplies. This location doesn’t have a great selection. If you’re looking for scrapbook paper or paper punches they have some basics. The cake decorating section is pretty good. Basically no art supplies like brushes or paints, but they do have some canvasses. T shirt dye and bling is pretty well stocked. They do have an ok section for beads. Unfortunately I came in several times looking for wood shapes, paint brushes, gift bags, and floral stuff and couldn’t find what I was looking for. Michael’s is about 10 minutes south on 202 and I’d rather head there.

I typically love Jo-Ann’s, but this store does not compare to any I’ve ever been in. It is so small, and there is not much of anything unless your craft is sewing! I can find more of what I need at target or Walmart than this store. Additionally, the customer service is seriously lacking. Of the times I’ve had to go in to the store, I’ve had to search for people that work there just to ring up my purchase, or I’m kept waiting, or both! I would avoid this store if possible and try a different craft store if you can.

I have an idea, hire people who give a crap about having a job in Customer service. On 4−22−15 I came in really quick to grab some paint pens. Day was going great till the extremely rude cashier«helped» me. Short girl with brownish hair. She never said hello, and then when I paid and got my bag she handed the bag to me and said«here» if you can’t work in customer service without at least faking a smile, then maybe it’s time to get a new job.

Dropped in here for some craft supplies but they did not have what I wanted. This store is small compared to the Jo-Ann’s on State Rd in Springfield but it should do in a pinch. They have a little of everything but if you need something very specific, don’t be surprised if they don’t have it.
