McDonald’s

The renovations made the place look cleaner. The summer deals are great.
However, I am extremely disappointed a changing station was not found in the bathroom. You would think during the renovation there would have been a changing station added. I was there with my 7 month old and had to change her diaper in our car.
In addition to not having a changing station, they didn’t have napkins. I walked up to the counter after purchasing our food and asked for napkins. The worker looked around and he handed me a soiled napkin from the counter they were the food was being bagged. When he handed me the napkin, he told me they haven’t had the chance to restock the napkins. Really!!! McDonald’s train their staff to hand a customer a soiled napkin?

This location was renovated in January 2015 and while it looks more modern it’s design is not optimal. There are fewer tables and the place now has some elevated seating. There are a lot of senior citizens in the neighborhood and I don’t know if it makes sense to have seating where you have to climb onto a bar stool type setup with a counter instead of a table.
Also the store used to have the customer line in the center of the place which allowed for the line to easily form in the center. Now the center area has two tables and is often closed off so when the line has more than about three people it curves around the right side of the store. Very awkward.
The workers are generally efficient but not particularly friendly. A few are but some employees you have seen for years will still treat you like a complete stranger. Weird. The younger workers are friendlier.

Decided to have brunch in this newly renovated branch before shopping to the next door shoe store. Oh my! They did a cool, new and eye pleasant dining place. Setting is of a café style, catering more of adults. Definitely, students of neighboring middle schools still remained favorite hang out place.
The staff are friendly. One staff member handed out their weekly promo coupon and my son fell for Buy 1 get 1 free Big Mac sandwich. I heard that they will no longer serve it soon. It is his Mc D’s favorite and definitely will missed it. I had their grilled chicken wrap. Mc Donald is trying their very best to go to a healthy way and their wrap won my vote that they truly is.
Price has risen a lot as compared to my last visit. I would say though, still one of affordable food chain stores. Will come back if feels like eating, I am a big supporter of neighborhood businesses.
