Super fresh bagels and its not far from home what more can I say and there’s nothing like fresh bagels on Sunday morning! Service has always been friendly and courteous.

I used to LOVE«What A Bagel» and would get them by the dozen along with their white fish. However, over the years the quality of their stuff has been on a consistent decline. I stopped going for a while but dropped by today craving their white fish bagel sandwich. Needless to say, it was not good. Their white fish spread use to be filled with fish, very dense, super flavorful, and had very little fillers. I was so disappointed to bite into a soggy mess today. There were no strands of fish anywhere in the sandwich. Instead, I got what seemed to be like purée of white fish that’s overdressed with mayonnaise. It was so liquidly that I couldn’t finish my sandwich. My fiancé had ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese, on an everything and I took a bite of that. Simply put, the sandwich was just sad. He had maybe 1.5 slices of bacon over some flat and overcooked eggs. I have no idea what’s going on here, but I wish they would get themselves together. We don’t have a lot of bagel stores around here, especially on Union, but come on… let’s bring some love back into the food.

I am a supporter of local businessess specifically that is few walks from my place. A busy workday morning in the store. I ordered my usual half dozen(everything and plain) bagel and lax spread. I like their bagels as it is soft and normally lasts longer(more than a day) for left over than other bagel store. The service as always is great. Very productive staff, every second counts, they know that everybody is running to go to their offices after. Total cost for a breakfast of 6, very affordable. Skip the coffee for today, bagels are for visiting family from Cali waiting in the house. Take pride in asking them to try NY bagels. I would say, this store did not disappoint them. Always a fan.

Fresh bagels, great coffee and awesome friendly service! They have a nice variety of breakfast foods. I always get eggs, cheese and ham on a croissant. I also get the omelette platter when hungry! Great place on union turnpike!

These bagels are amazing the service is great and everyone is so friendly. I always get the everything bagels — they have the spices and stuff on both sides which is always great.

This is my all time favorite bagel place. They have a whole wheat everything bagel that cannot be beat. They always put a generous amount of cream cheese. At least the senior staff does. Best time to go is in the morning when there’s a longg line, and they haven’t run out of all the options.

I’ve been coming here for 2 years. Usually once a month when time permits. This place is a gem in this part of Queens, unless you work in the city and want to haul your ass to Ess a Bagel or any place like it after work, be my guest. Don’t be a bozo and rate this place negatively– they’ve got mega nice staff, a plethora of bagels, and there are lines out the door in the morning. THISSHOWS you how valuable this place is. And all the locals get there earlier to get a seat and watch Union Turnpike while chow-downing. I always get 2 pumpernickels, 2 wheat, and 1 cinnamon-raisin. They’re incredibly soft inside with a nice bit and semi-crispy outer shell, SODAMNGOOD. Sometimes I eat the bagel dry while driving because I’m that damn hungry.

Super nice place and a way better option than Dunkin Donuts. Just be prepared to spend more. I ordered two toasted plain bagels one with bacon egg and cheese and another with egg salad then a snapple drink. It all came out to $ 9.00 but I don’t mind paying for a fresher option. The sandwiches were good and I got the right order unlike Dunkin Donuts. The place could use a little cleaning up by the window edges. All in all a good place and I will be back to try different things. From what I saw they have many different cream cheese flavors.

Stopped in for lunch. The sesame flagel I got was very dry and hard and had a strange taste. Will not be going back

Ok I worked at this establishment back in 1999 with different owners. He had sold it to the current owners in 2001. The bagels used to be amazing! I went into this place a few times in the last year and I can’t say that I was happy. The bagels are not even good. So I ordered a plain bagel with a sausage egg and cheese and they charged me 4 $ which is average I’m guessing. The next day I decide to get a flat bagel with the same thing. Now the flat bagel has probably the same dough or less than a regular bagel. I had the same amount of eggs sausage and cheese with it and she charged me 5.75 $ AREYOUSERIOUS!!! 1.75 extra because of a flat bagel??? I could’ve ordered a plain bagel and a flat bagel on the side and it still would’ve been cheaper. WHAT A RIP! I haven’t stepped foot in their since.

The definitive place to grab a bagel in the glen oaks/floral park section of queens. Bagels are tasty, fresh, and made on premise. I advise take out as this place does attract a lot of weirdo’s who like to grab tables and linger. Long lines on Sat and Sun morning as locals nursing hangovers need their bagel fix.

Super nice staff and good food. They even smile as they over charge you. That’s the least they could do right?!

I just can’t bring myself to eat a bagel from the Dunkin Donuts down the block. It also helps that you truly need to go to a bagel store to get scallion cream cheese. This place is an integral part of the bagel loving Glen Oaks area and can get pretty busy early in the morning. I’ve walked many block after an inebriated evening to this bagel spot when I’m nearby so that I can truly start my day. The toasted everything bagel with scallion cream cheese is my staple and the variety is so vast that I’m proud to be from Queens.
