Rather small and mostly of people and their faces either self-decapitated or sliced off. Not sure if he just hates himself and wants to die or he just thought that would be interesting to build. So many kids were there and gained some sort of inspiration to go home and start building a self-decapitation themselves right away! A few pieces were interesting though. I wouldn’t mind having the ben franklin bill or one skull to hang.

Small exhibit but very interesting. A childhood toy being used in thought provoking and sometimes scary(but still child friendly) sculptures turns out to be a unique exhibit. I highly recommend it for Lego aficionados and the rest of the museum is worth checking out as well. Considering the museum is free, definitely worth checking out — get a big group of friends to go! Note that if you go into the gift shop behind the Lego exhibit, there is a book of the artist’s work and there are a LOT more sculptures you can see in the book.

It’s a small exhibit, but worth making a detour if you’re in the Glendale area to see it. No pictures are allowed, so enjoy the creativity of how Legos can recreate everyday and pretend images. The artist does a great job of the human form with the Legos. Kids and adults were all in smiles viewing this, so was I: D
