Delicious cheese steak! I consider myself to be quite picky when it comes to cheese steaks(being from PA) but this one was surprisingly good. Go for extra cheese and onion rings, you won’t be disappointed.

Good food but weird staff. I have to repeat myself several times and they are just very unwelcoming… not rude, just … weird.

Great sandwiches, and waffle fries. The black and blue steak sandwich is where it’s at! Stay away from the hand cut fries, they were soggy, need to be double fried and aren’t.

Upon looking at the menu, there is a lot to choose from. Personally I just want a traditional cheesesteak so the first sandwich on the menu was what I went with. The meat was good, albeit dry as other reviews have mentioned, and it wasn’t drowning in cheese. I felt that the sandwich was missing a little salty kick(think seasonal salt), so I ended up putting cholula on the sandwich which worked out well. At the register I noticed that they had some tasty cakes which I didn’t indulge in but maybe next time. I was happy with it, but I’ve had better. On more of the plus side, the patio has some sweet umbrellas providing shade(granted you have to listen to one of the business’s loud speaker from time to time), and the interior has a sophisticated look with the yellow cushions in the booth.

I love this place. I’ve never had a cheesesteak outside of Philly as good as what they have here. And when they have big vats of Cheez Whiz, you know you have the real deal. The staff here are great and what’s even better and unheard of? When you get a combo which includes a side and soda, you can get a can of PBR instead of the soda for the same price!!! Do I need to say any more? Their traditional steak is really good, but their Thai chicken cheese steak is also the bomb! Lastly, be on the lookout at the soda machine for their photos:(picture of Ice-T) +(picture of lemons) =(picture of Arnold Palmer). HILARIOUS!

I am going against the grain on this one. I was not into my sandwich at all, but I was starving so I finished it. I love cheesesteaks. I like them traditional and not so traditional, but I do know that if I want to eat something with this many calories and fat grams in it, it needs to be delicious. The meat was dry and there was such a little amount of cheese on it that I questioned if they forgot to add it when I took my first few bites. All in all, not the meaty, cheesy mess of deliciousness that I was expecting after reading all these reviews.

We went there for a snack as I wasnt that hungry. My boyfriend and I then spent the next 10 minutes narrowing down our choices to just one. SOOOHARD. Everything sounds good. We went with the Buffalo Chicken, it was AMAZING. nice spicy buffalo sauce, good amount of chicken, and real chunks of blue cheese, not just some weak dressing, and bread that was so moist and chewy! We can’t wait to go back and try the breakfast one, thai chicken, bbq chicken. And they have Tasty-Cakes, which I have heard somewhere from someone that they are amazing as well. Really friendly down to earth staff who act like they like what they do, laidback and ready to help. Nice easy going atmosphere.

Crap, I don’t remember eating here so I feel like that’s a bad sign… Scratch that — checked out the website to see if I remember what I ordered and, by-golly, I do! I chose the Southwest Philly with green chiles, chipotle mayo and cheddar cheese and, holy crap, was it good! Perfectly greasy and flavorful and bad for your waistline. The small was huge enough that I needed to take some home, pulled it off the soggy bun the next day and put it in a tortilla. Yumyumyum! If we’re in the neighborhood, we’re going back. The BF is a major cheese{steak}head(Is that a thing?) and is always on the lookout for the next-big-thing!

I’m an East Coaster. So that pretty much makes me a CheeseSteak Purist. I want mine regular, with mushrooms, cooked onions, and Cheez-Whiz. Yes, Whiz. That, IMO, makes an authentic CheeseSteak. These, while good, didn’t fit that craving for a just-soggy-enough mess of meat, veggies, and whiz. These look too pretty. I mean, I didn’t wear ONEDROP! They use White American Cheese, and it’s between the meat and the roll, making that weird, bun-cheese patty to absorb the steak juices. The sauteed mushrooms were few and far between. I prefer my CheeseSteaks to be bursting with flavor AND fillings. On the plus side, everything tasted fresh and was well-seasoned. And the non-purist side of me likes the Cholula Hot Sauce to add. Also a Plus: They import their rolls from Philly. And they have TastyCakes. But that’s not a rarity in this influx-of-Philly Knockoff Joints. So, if I were in the neighborhood and hungry, I’d stop in again. But I’m not making a special trip to Glendale.

I will preface this review with a confession: I am from Philadelphia. I spent the first 24 years of my life eating cheesesteaks in the City of Brotherly Love and every time I go home, that is the first thing I want to eat. That being said, the cheesesteak I had here last week is the ONLY cheesesteak I have eaten outside the states of PA and NJ. Period. I have eaten steak sandwiches in many other cities in many other states, but every other steak sandwich I’ve eaten has been just that: a steak sandwich, not a cheesesteak. Thank you, Cheesesteak Connection! And thank you to the young lady who helped me filter through the list of complicated steak sandwiches on the menu to find what I truly wanted — a «Whiz wit». Sadly, such an item is not listed, but if you tell them you would like«a plain cheesesteak with cheez whiz and fried onions» you will be delivered a basket of true cheesesteak bliss in the middle of the country. The only thing that could improve this place would be PICKLES on a classic Philly condiment bar that goes beyond the typical ketchup and mustard to include several different pickled peppers, hot sauce, etc.

Just because you carry Tasty Cakes, does not mean you sell genuine Philly subs. Nothing can compare to Pat’s or Geno’s(Pats is better, FYI). Yes, they sell them on Amoroso Rolls, but who doesn’t in this city? Amoroso Rolls don’t make a Philly sub«genuine». With that being said, this is a very good choice. It may not be authentic, but this place still has solid food with a large menu. The front desk employee was very nice. I was debating between Onion Rings and Sweet Potato Fries. She let me tried both. Both were absolutely delicious and I’m glad I got a taste of both. This is a solid spot in a good location. I will be back soon.

Its 3.5STARS for us. Went here for Hubs mini birthday lunch treat, April 21st2011. Right after we enter this establishment, I was slightly«overwhelmed» with the menu. Arent sure what to order but oh boy, I am glad, the person behind the counter, was patient enough and let us take our time to order. Thankfully, at that time, this establishment was not«swamped» by other patrons since we were there after 2pm. From what I could recall Hubs order the Classic Philly 12 «with french fries while I opt for the Classic Philly 8 «with criss cross fries or waffles fries, I think. The service was fast and prompt. We opt to seat outside the establishment, where the patio is located. Both of us like what we ordered. The flavor was just right. All in all SOLID3.5 stars and we dont mind returning when we are in the neighborhood perhaps to order different stuffs from the menu. Cheesesteak GOODNESS! YUM-DELISH! On another note, this establishment was kept clean and that includes the ladies wash room that I went in that day.

Recommendation: I like cheesesteaks and this is my favorite place in all of Denver to get one. Food: This place has a huge variety of cheesesteaks that you won’t find anywhere else — check out their menu! They also have some regular sub sandwiches and you can get your cheesesteak made with chicken if you prefer. My go to sandwich is the Pepper Cheesesteak with bits of hot peppers mixed into the delicious steak and cheese mixture. They have a number of sides to choose from but I find the onion rings and hand cut fries to be the best. Price: The prices are very reasonable and can’t be beat if you can get your hands on a combo coupon that includes an 8″ sandwich, side, and a drink for under $ 7. Service: Service is quick and easy. Go up to the counter, place your order, and they will bring it out to you. Ambiance: It’s your typical fast-casual restaurant scene. It’s clean, has a few TVs, an outdoor patio and various sized booths.

Hokay!!! To start with, all of the sandwiches here, both 8″($ 6) and 12″($ 8.50) are made using Amoroso rolls. What’s that? I WIkipedia’d it: «Amoroso’s Baking Company is a Philadelphia based, family-owned company that specializes in hearth baked breads and rolls.» Ah – going for that authentic feel. With a chain, that’s a promising sign. I can tell you the rolls are delicious and soft, but sturdy enough they can hold grilled meats and juices drenching the bun without disintegrating it. Another plus in my book. Check out their menu — purists may be haters; people like me who love variety are delighted. Their«Black and Blue» is nothing short of amazing(Steak, housemade steak sauce, onion & mushrooms sauteed in sherry, crumbled bleu cheese — yum yum!!!), and the pictures of their sandwiches are making me drool anew, just 3 hrs after dinner. They have a breakfast Philly which looks maybe a little pricey compared to other breakfast sandwiches in the area — I don’t know what their hours are, either. They have waffle fries. Bonus. And they have sweet potato fries. And they’re damned good. Any place that has sweet potato fries should get a star just on that merit alone… They also serve beer, which is a good thing to pair up with cheesesteaks, oh my yes. My friend was recently caught having a Labatt’s there, so they have Canadian brews there as well, eh… Service is fairly fast and friendly. It strikes me as a great place to go for lunch and maybe a dash-in-dash-out dinner.

THANKYOUFELLOW UnilocalERS!!! MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM This place does live up to the good reviews from everyone. Fest friendly staff. I got a pretty basic CheeseSteak with peppers. The bun was perfect! Soft but not dough-y. Plenty tender chopped steak and veggies inside. One of the best CheeseSteak sandwiches I’ve ever had in Denver– and from a chain food place??? WOW. Not worried about it being a chain– I’m a fan.

I can’t take a cheesesteak place seriously if they are serving up Thai Phillys, BBQ Phillys or Teriyaki Phillys… what tha? Ok, whatever, they have an OG Philly so maybe. I like mine wit whiz, their OG comes with peppers, that I have to leave off. They are alright. The rolls are good, they import them from Philly. They also serve up some other hoagies that aren’t too bad. They chop the meat like they do a cheesesteak, and I honestly don’t think I like it that way. They also overload the hoagies with copious amounts of meat. It’s a bit too much for my liking. One thing I do like about Cheesesteak Connection is that they serve fries. That is one thing I miss about sub shops & pizza shops from back home, no one serves fries out here! And these are yummy waffle fries! They also have Tastykakes and birch beer, but not in the yellow can. I should also mention that the place is super clean, granted it’s still new, but I noticed it as soon as we walked in. I like the openness of the restaurant. It totally doesn’t feel like a cheesesteak place that’s for sure!

These guys serve up some really decent cheesesteaks. For $ 7.99 you get 12 inches of fresh, squishy toasty baguette stuffed chock-full of tender wafer-thin steak, grilled onions, peppers and mushrooms atop a delightful melty mess of a cheese of your choice. My favorite is the Cheeseburger Cheesesteak which adds pickles, lettuce, tomato, American cheese, ketchup and mustard to the basic Cheesesteak mix. I’m not a big fan of waffle fries(I wish CC offered the usual kind) but the serving is generous, and a large is enough for two people to share($ 1.99 sm, $ 2.99 lg). Service is fast even when it’s busy, and while a couple of the guys behind the counter can be a bit a-holey, the others, for the most part, are cheerful and helpful. The only thing I dislike about CC is the annoying fly situation — if it’s a nice day and you want to eat in, be prepared for flies trying to divebomb your food. Other than that, this place is great!
