I have been coming here since I was in elementary school, and now I work right by it so I eat there all the time. This place has improved a lot over the years, the new owner has really helped it. The food is of much better quality, the chili dogs are even better than they use to be. Nearly everything I have tried has been good. In the past you had to be careful what you ordered and I would suggest to anyone who was disappointed in the past to give it another shot, it has truly improved. The beef lula wraps, gyros, burgers, chili dogs, and chicken tacos are my go to’s(and I normally hate chicken tacos). Check it out tell them George from next door sent you

Very helpful staff, I get what I ask for exactly the way I want it. I eat a lot of meals here. Now that they are starting a chess club Monday evenings, I will be there even more often. Get the breakfast burrito, the yogurt salad, the quesadillas(beef, chicken, bacon, or cheese only) — and they have much more to choose from.

Nice little business, no wait in line despite going at lunch time. Minimum $ 10 to use credit card, otherwise 50c charge for less than $ 10. Plenty of options on the menu. Mixed with Mediterranean, American, and Mexican food fare. Chili on the fries was good, meaty, not as oily as other places. Wish the burrito came with salsa, all she has to offer were peppers. Quality was ok, I’ll be back to try the other options. Covered seating, clean tables, open air. There’s even a TV.

So looked forward to a burger from an independent stand, but they over charged and under delivered. A cheese burger w/o fries is $ 5.99. It turned out to be from a bag of frozen Smart and Final or Costco burgers. My double cheese burger came with two frozen patties and frozen crinkle fries out of another bag. Amazing that anyone goes there with In N Out so close. They also have kabobs, but with so many great kabob places in Glendale, I don’t need to get them at burger stand. Since they use burgers in a bag, I have to bag this place. Worst burger I have had in years.

As a restaurant operator/owner myself, guess you can say I’m biased and sympathetic to our side of the story. We Americans are spoiled and self entitlement obsessed bunch when it comes to this farce of an online assessment medium which empowers the unqualified and the uneducated sector of consumers WAY too much leverage while family owned business suffers at the hands of online morons whose time is NOT productively spent. On the heels of this reality, I like to commend this small spot less than a mile away from my house for the value they have built into their product. Where else in Glendale can you score a legit lamb chop, lule and shishi kebob with all the condiments and fixing for 15 dollars? You want more refined Mediterranean cuisine? Then go PAY the appropriate amount of money and be satisfied. In my world, Frankie’s value makes this place must-visit place. Hope the fam keep up the good work.

Frankie’s Burger has more than burger’s… they have a Middle Eastern food as well… I love there outdoor dinning area… I like to support small family owned and run business in the areas I do my work… If you find yourself close by at lunch time I think you will get a good meal and a good value…

We just moved to the neighborhood and my brother in law initially checked this place out. He mentioned in passing that it was good. The other day I figured I would give it a shot since I didnt feel like driving to far from home. I ordered the cheesebuger w/fries, hummos & jajek. Cheeseburger & fries= amazing Hummos= It seemed overwhelmed with tahini and not enough garlic/lemon and/or garbanzo beans.(I used to work at a Lebanese restaurant and I am Lebanese so I know good hummos) Jajek = It was ok it needed less dill and more garlic. I realized certain types of Armenians make it differently. The lady behind the counter was very sweet and even offered a refill while I waited. Ill be back!

I lived nearby when this place first opened and have never been too far away. Frankie’s Burgers is more like Costco Frozen Burgers. I think that says it all. Unfortunately, they had the flavor of a frozen burger with some pepper sprinkled on top of it. I did get some onion rings and chili cheese fries too. The onion rings and the fries were good, the chili was iffy. Personally, I think this place should change its name to Frankie’s or Frankie’s Eclectic. Currently they serve more tacos, burritos, and Mediterranean/Armenian food like gyros and kabobs. I will give Frankie’s another try to see if any of the ethnic food they serve stands up to the many other places around Glendale. As for burgers, I will not buy another one here.

Needed a quick bite before an appointment and saw this place. Great location! I had the steak sandwich and it was awesome, made fresh with a good cut of meat, combo had a large basket of fries and a drink. I am a fan, I hope to have more meetings in the area so I can come by again!

Many years ago … 2002 – 2004, I frequented Frankies only for their veggie burgers. Back in the area due to work in 2014 and I have gone twice … First I tried their falafel — regretted it. It seemed to be made from dry mix instead of fresh, not at all tasty. Today I went for the veggie burger … hugely disappointed. What makes a veggie burger an awesome veggieburger? The patty, of course! Second, the toppings. The patty was hard and dry, as if from long ago in the freezer and reheated in the micro. Sorry, I will not be returning. I’d rather go back to The Habit and stand in the long line for a better and tastier burger, or walk up to the hill to the Glendale Adventist Hospital cafeteria for a more superb Burger at a much less of a cost.

Quaint little hole-in-the-wall place! Love their chili cheese fries… nothin special about it, it’s just your basic chili cheese fries. I like how they don’t overdo slathering on the chili & cheese. Most places put too much of that stuff, making the fries at the bottom get soggy, but I haven’t had this problem with their version. :)

I have been passing by this place for 25 years. Finally stopped by and ordered the Gyro Combo. First off, there is something off with the Diet Coke. Tastes different than any Diet Coke I ever tasted before and not in a good way. Like overly syrupy and under carbonated. The fries were very crunchy, but ok. They give you a lot. I ended up tossing a little less than half of them, but not because they were bad, just too much comfort food for my comfort. The gyro was excellent. The sauce is already on it, not on the side like I like but that’s fine. It’s very big and got the job done. Reasonably fast service. Staffed by 1 person when I went. The patio is serviceable, nothing to write home about. More like 3.5 stars, but I’ll round up to 4.

The place seems to have undergone one or two changes in ownership. They briefly changed their name to Fresh Cut Grill, then back to Frankie’s. The TV playing garbage is gone. So, much more pleasant, so I’m adding a star. Veggie burgers are the basic boca-style, not bad, not good. Service is friendly. But, I can make better veggie burgers at home.

Love Frankie’s Burgers. It’s delicious, mouth watering good. I would say that its a good place to grab a meal with friends and family. I’ve been here a few times while visiting family and friends. The service is good and so are the prices. It’s a unique burger joint, and worth the visit.

I would give it a 3.5. I came here because I got lost on the bus(thanks Google Maps) and I ended up across the street from this place. I was super hungry so I just decided to get food here. I ordered a junior burger and I think it was a gyro? I can’t remember but it had meat and parsley in it. The gyro was ok, needed some type of sauce in it, but I couldn’t really do much about it since I got it to go. The burger was pretty big, and it was ok, nothing special. Overall, it was fast and cheap. Don’t think I would ever come back though since I just happened to magically get lost and stuck in the area ha.

Admittedly, I only bought something because I was using their parking space while picking up my dry cleaning and felt obligated to at least order something just in case they had an urge to tow my car. They’ve got burgers and Mediterranean fare, and as you’d expect from a food stand, it’s all in an affordable price range(read: cheap). I was tempted by the fried zucchini, but instead went for a chicken sandwich(which ended up being more like a gyro), which was insanely flavorful and made to order. The stand out, however, were the French fries. They were chunky, perfectly crunchy, perfectly greasy, and perfectly salted. I will absolutely be craving them the next time I need to soak up some alchy or just have a hankering for the best fries EVER.

Well… I am not fond of shacks or kiosk type of eateries. I had to stop to email, and noticed a nice little patio and said free coffee. Parking was an issue so I has to drive, but I noticed that even at an odd hour, people were coming to place orders. Just didn’t look appetizing. Coffee was good. Since there was no reviews I wasn’t sure what others experienced… I am not sure if I would eat there.
