Gina’s Taco

Very good asada tacos! I would recommend this to anyone looking for authentic Mexican food made fresh. Healthy portions and good prices are always nice.

Awesome little dive in Glendale that serves some of the best tacos! The carnitas tacos is so good and inexpensive ($ 1.70 each for tacos); and they give you a generous amount of meat filling per taco order. If I could eat here everyday I think would, lol.

I went here only because my initial destination of El Sauz was closed on Memorial Day. I had a pollo, pastor, and asada taco as well as some of the asada burrito and everything was sooo flavorful. I’d definitely come here again.

3.75 stars. The food isn’t bad and I’d eat here again but I wouldn’t go out of my way to do so.
I had steak asada tacos. It’s just simple street food; meat, diced onions, cilantro on a small corn tortilla. Pretty good stuff.
The seating in the front is immediately adjacent to the bus stop. I guess you’ll meet more interesting people there than at a bar. There’s another dining area in the back that looks like something straight out of public school in TJ. Let’s
Just say that this isn’t a place to take your lady for the ambiance.
There is ample parking in the rear as the mini-​market is now out of business.

Ceviche tostada is the way to go. Carne Asada is tasty but chewy. Can be a bit sketchy at night

Family and I came cause we wanted something kind of light, and this was at the top of the list lol
We got lengua and carne asada tacos, chicken burrito, ceviche tostados, asada quesadilla and tamarindo.
Tacos, quesadilla, and ceviche were really good!
They’re so generous with the amount of meat they give you compared to other taco places.
Chicken burrito was okay, if I had just meat in it I probably would have liked it better. And the tamarindo’s okay too.

You can’t go wrong with anything here. Everything is delicious, full of flavor. My favorites include the chicken quesadillas, tacos di lengua, and the ceviche! Open late night. Parking at the back! You won’t regret trying out this place.
I usually call and order ahead of time and then I pick up my order. I’m not a fan of sitting at the back.

I come here TOO MUCH. And it’s worth it. Get anything with CHICHARRON… flavorful, soft and krispy. The service is good: speedy and friendly. They take credit/​debit cards which is a plus. They’re open late, another plus. Try quesadillas with two meats (Chicharron and al pastor or asada) or tacos with avocado slices and cheese. Parking is sparse so carpool or walk. Call in for to-​go orders.

I thought I wrote a review of Gina’s a while back as I had been going here on and off for a decade or so + for those late-​night, after the club/​bar mexican food cravings. I went here late last night craving some tacos and when we pulled up around 130−2am, there were a few groups (2 – 3) waiting for their orders already. We ordered 9 tacos altogether. The wait was very long even though we were able to order right away. The groups that were already there had already placed their orders and were just waiting to pick up their food. It took about 30 mins. Too long of a wait being that we got to order right away IMO. I saw that there were only 2 ladies working back in the kitchen and one of them also was the cashier. Maybe that’s why.
The tacos were just ok. I remember them being much better on every other time I’ve ordered from Gina’s. I’ve had everything from tacos to burritos, plain quesadillas and ones with meat. The corn tortillas they used for the tacos were no good. The quality was not great. I’m not looking for fine dining as I am just at a late night taco spot but I’ve had Gina’s many times in the past and this wasn’t what I remember. I’m gonna chalk it up to an off night and hope that’s all that is. The burritos I’ve had there and quesadillas have been pretty good. I’ll give it another try one of these night but it’s gonna be a while. I’m trying to shake the disappointment.

Solid Mexican food. Never disappoints.
They also take cards and is open late.
This place has been here forever. It’s small but a very reliable Mexican place that’s walking distance from my house. After only one order the lady remembered that I ordered extra salsa and started putting it in my orders. That kept me coming back and this is my go to when I’m feeling for some Mexican food.
I usually get asada or pastor tacos and burritos.
Simple. Easy. Fulfilling.

Been coming to ginas since I was just a kid.
Place is amazing. Great food. Great location.
Sometimes parking can be a pain but it’s best to grab it to go and hurry home. Use fech24 and stay in your pjs.
Tacos are the best. Ceviche is amazing.
Everything’s on point.

Today was my second time eating at Gina’s. The first time I had an Asada burrito with frijoles and queso. I enjoyed it.
Today I had the Asada tacos. They were so flavorful. The meat was tender and fresh. I found myself saying that they were the best tacos I had ever had. I still believe this to be true.
I must add that Gina is very friendly and she allowed me to stumble around with my Spanglish and order. She smiled at me and helped me to feel comfortable.
At $ 1.75 a taco you can’t miss the opportunity to try them yourself. The tacos are tiny, but my three were extremely filling and I probably should have stopped at two.

My younger brother has been going to Gina’s for at least 10 years. He tells me, whenever I’m in Glendale, I need to go to Gina’s since he knows how much I love Mexican food. He said that parking can be tricky but if you go there early, you’ll find a good spot.
I finally went to Gina’s and I got there around 10am and found parking behind their shop. I got 2 Al Pastor and 2 Carne Asada tacos. It had cilantro, onions and salsa. They had habanero salsa and of course I had to try it.
I think I ate all 4 tacos in 5 minutes. Either I was really hungry or they were delicious so I pick the latter one.
The tacos were filled with delicious, marinated tender meat and the salsa just topped everything off.
I need to make Gina’s a staple to my diet.

Gina’s Tacos is one of those spots that you can drive by for years and be too busy to notice. For those of us who slow down in life and know where to look, we are rewarded with great dives like Gina’s in Glendale, CA.
At $ 1.50 a taco you can buy three, enjoy a cup of horchata for a buck and have money to burn. Had four asada tacos tonight and showed no mercy.
Easy to miss. Impossible to forget. 5 stars.

The tacos were delicious but we had to ask so many times for extra stuff because they were so stingy. Can we can get more sauce? More tostada? More radish? We had to really dig it out of them. Can’t complain about the tacos because they were yummy!

I’ve been coming to the place for years. I don’t get anything else but their quesadillas. I’m sure their tacos are swell, but their quesadillas are crack. I’ve had their asada, pastor, and pollo quesadillas and they are all delicious! Tons of flavor! It’s not just cheese and meat (don’t get me wrong. I love cheese and meat). They also add onions, cilantro, and their salsa inside the pockets of goodness. They do this double fold on to make it look like a flattened burrito, and it works!
It’s a hole in the wall so don’t expect fine dining. They have an outside patio or some nice seating by the bus stop hah! Parking in the back is limited to like 4 cars max.
Gina and her staff are friendly. Food’s good. And you get a nice view of the weirdos getting on and off the bus. What more can you ask for?

This places is soooo freaking delicious. Soooo good! Ugh I have not gotten anything that is mediocre. My all time favorites are the Carne Asada Torta with cheese. Ask for it because it’s not originally in there. I absolutely adore their Carne Asada Tacos and their Tacos de Chicharron. Ugh my mouth is watering out of what I’m writing. The ONLY downfall is the long lines and wait time for food. But it’s okay for me, the food is well worth the time and wait.

Delicious Al Paster Tacos and refreshing ceviche. Husby tried Buche for the first time, he loved it. One of the best Horchatas I’ve ever had!

Please please please if you are in Glendale try this hole in the wall Mexican joint out. Me and my ex used to come here religiously like once a week. The best thing on the menu is the chicken quesadilla with everything ! Add an orange soda and you have a match made in heaven. Not the healthiest place but use this place as your cheat day for sure. The owners are always so nice too.

I love Gina’s! When I lived in Glendale, Gina’s was the beacon of light that called to me and my friends any time we were floundering for sustenance in a drunken stupor.
Everything I’ve had from the carne asada, al pastor, lengua, and ceviche is good. Ceviche is one of my favorite foods so I was ecstatic to discover that not only is it legit at Gina’s, but I could also get it here in the wee hours of the morning!
Everyone I’ve met here is super nice. Prices are reasonable, and they even started accepting credit/​debit cards recently. Definitely hits the spot for lunch and late night cravings!

El burrito asada esta bueno pero un poco seco. El pastor esta asi asi, no especial. Pero Los tacos y burritos estan gran. El carne es no mejor pero Gina’s esta muuuy delicioso y auténtico. Cuatro estrella!!!

Quiero una quesadilla y salsa picante, por favor. ooh! y horchata! gracias.
