Goffles Waffles

Closed.
Goffles was amazing when it first opened — they sold waffles with fresh fruit on them for $ 5. And I was in heaven for about 2 months.
Then they completely inexplicably changed the «fresh fruit» to this terrible jelly. Not even compote — it was horrid. And I stopped going.
They lasted about 5 more months. They literally had the best business model ever — GREAT breakfast food in the mall for dirt cheap prices. But they were stupid. Oh well. Bye, Goffles.

So sad… this place is no longer there as of December 29, 2011. It was replaced by a Churro place that is really great though! Silver lining?

I’m so sad this place closed down in the mall! If it opens elsewhere I will definitely go. Their waffles are delicious but their strawberry lemonade is the absolute best.

Heh, a waffle stand, don’t think I ever had one of those before.
Running around the mall after doing my errand and decided what to do to kill time before my shift at work, I went up to the third floor and decided that I was going to try the xooro place, just because I ALWAYS see it but NEvER went inside.
However, while taking the escalator close to Nordstrom’s, I looked behind me and saw next to cleo and cucci a waffle stand. I gave it a second look and made a detour to this place instead.
Pretty dead, and only a few customers sitting on the balcony eating area, so I gave the menu a REALLY long look, deciding whether it was a good idea to get a combo (with a medium sized lemonade) or just a waffle. Waffle seemed to be the better choice, just because I’m not a huge fan of hot dogs (inside «irony» joke, if anyone wants to know).
Decided on something plain and simple, a grilled waffle with Nutella. Waited for a little while, just because it was only one person prepping the waffles and a few orders came in before mine. After ordering, I then realized that I could have gotten a combo and got a FREE custom license plate holder, giving it to my friend, who can come up with something witty, like «even cowgirls get the blues», «keep on truckin’», or the current famous quote by Whitney Houston, «KISS MY ASS!»
After getting my waffle and munching it at work, the waffle is just a basic waffle, and maybe a tad heavy on the grease/​butter. It’s good, regardless, since they didn’t burn the waffle or undercook it, just a little too fattening for my taste. Still good, though.
Next time, maybe I’ll try a savory waffle or just get the combo just for the custom license plate holder.

Ehhhh. I’m never going back. I think its just microwave eggos. Very cheap — you get what you pay for.

I LOVE this place! We tried the turkey/​provolone sandwich and it was delicious. The cheese was perfectly melted over a yummy cut of turkey! The kids meal came with a hot dog waffle stick. If you’re Pilipino, the hot dog tasted like the hot dog mom makes for breakfast. YUM! The cashier told me they used to make it with the traditional ones from the Philippines (you know, the bright red ones), but they weren’t too popular. Bring ‘em back, I say!
We followed that up with the nutella sandwich for dessert. You can never have enough of that stuff. And for those who get thirsty after consuming loads of nutella, just gulp down their refreshing peach lemonade!

Ran into this place at the end of the mall… on the topmost floor. It’s pretty hard to run into this place but there is a cute balcony with tables and chairs which are nice if you ever want to chitchat with a friend…=) We didn’t see anyone around, so I felt bad and ventured up to the WAFFLE store to see what they offered.
My bf was indifferent while I was like «WAFFLES?! With NUTELLA?!» And so I got the nutella waffles! While waiting eagerly for my waffles, I looked at their interesting menu and sampled the ham/​turkey? sandwich waffle… IT WAS GOOD! Super tasty and good for a lunch meal!
Unfortunately I wasn’t that hungry, and waffles aren’t hot and crunchy after awhile so we decided to just get the nutella waffles and peach lemonade. As soon as I saw him put smushed fruit in it, I knew this was something different! The peach lemonade was refreshingly good, not too sweet and not too sour which is exactly how we like it! Waffles were pretty big with plenty of nutella in it.
I will be back! =D

I always pick up samples (which seem endless) from here, so I decided to buy one for once.
I got the nutella waffle, which is basically a waffle + nutella.
The first few bites are yummy but near the end you feel your throat choked up for water.
Nothing special, and nothing you can’t make at home.

I’d give this place 5 stars, ’cause umm, HELLO? WAFFLES, BRO. WAFFLES. But I’m just gonna give them 4 stars, ’cause I’m saving my 5 stars for some glorious waffle joint to ravage my taste buds.
I thought I’d be the first to review this business since this I didn’t think anyone else would review this place due to its god awful location. I’m sure at least half of the people that tried this place either 1) ran into it or 2) felt sorry for it, so they gave it a try. I fell into both of those categories, but in addition to that, did I mention I am a WAFLLE FIEND?
Lotsa interesting waffle concoctions. Waffle sandwiches (both savory and sweet), waffle sticks, regular waffles with toppings.
I had a waffle sandwich with Nutella. Simple invention, nothing new, but DAMN, it hits the spot. And o whut? They give you syrup with it? O hayyy.
I could’ve (and should’ve) gotten an extra waffle to-​go, but I prevented myself from doing so.
Go here. Get waffles. Get money. Deuces, Glendale.

So you’re walking down the mall, looking through the windows of the various shops, when all of a sudden you receive a sudden, strong urge to have waffles. You’re in a mall though! You mind races and searches your memory for the closest waffle dispensary so that you can satisfy your inhuman craving. Your vision starts to haze and you look upwards, towards the light, but there’s something there. A smiling waffle.
Located on the second floor of that section of the galleria, right in the corner sits Goffles Waffles.
I’ve almost tried everything there. I have some strange fascination with breakfast foods+(other).
Their newish item on the menu are the grilled waffle sandwiches, that come with either peanut butter, NUTELLA !!!, or cheese. Or a grilled ham and cheese waffle sandwich. I like mostly everything there, I really recommend the waffle cheese sticks and any of the grilled sandwiches.
Prices are extremely low as well, especially for what you get.

Cinnamon & sugar waffles sticks are not meant to be crunchy, they’re not churros :) try the grilled nutella, it’s a best seller like the cheese waffle sticks. As for the fruit lemonades, ask for a strawberry and peach mix.

Yummy surprise!
OK, I admit it. I meandered over here mainly as a sympathy vote. What a horrible spot for a food stand– way tucked in the corner totally out of the way from mall traffic. ‘cul del sac’ and not in a good way when you need hungry shoppers to know you actually exist. I’m not surprised that another viewer deem this spot as ‘cursed.’ While other food stands were hopping, the owners sat looking forloned. Already had lunch at another food stand that was actually visible so not too hungry… So I figured I would just get a little snack.
Glad I did! The cinnamon and sugar waffle stick was totally delish! Sweet but not sickeningly so, crispy on the outside and hearty waffle goodness on the inside.
Not still completely sold on the idea of waffles as sandwich breading, but next time I will try the complete dessert waffles (will have to do it on a day when I bring reinforcements though– they look huge).

i was at the galleria, and i looked up and i saw a smiling waffle with a crown. i love cartoon mascots so i had to go check it out. free samples? don’t mind if i do! I’m not a fan of waffles as a sandwich, but as dessert? YUM! I’m an easy customer… they gave me too many choices as far as topping and flavors and i said make me one that looks like the one in the picture on the board. it came out delicious, nice warm crispy yet fluffy waffle melting ice cream…

I am hooked! I eat here 1−2x a week! The guy at the counter even memorized what I always get– Roast beef waffle sandwich. OMG. Party in my mouth. Waffles are ALWAYS hot n’ fresh. Mmmm…

This place is pretty bomb. Just like everyone else said, I agree with them. I got the ham waffle stick which was REALLY tasty. It’s a stick of ham with the waffle around it (kinda like a corn dog) and I dipped it with syrup… so good!
My friend got the sugar and cinnamon which was just hanging, already made… and all they did was heat it up and it was soggy; she didn’t like it… she was expecting it to be crunchier.
We also had the sample waffle sandwiches which were so delicious! The prices are SO GOOD and the taste is even better!

So many Many reasons its so hmmm hmmm good. Its a Timeless idea! This place is a sin iif your tryin not to be a glutton. I had the cheese stick… wait mouth salivating and having flashbacks… and the chocolate dipped waffle… and the cinnamon waffle on a stick… officially in a state of Euphoria! The waffle batter is delicious! Tastes like Butter Baby…

So two of my friends and I came across this new waffle place. It looked very unique, so we stopped by to check out the food (we were also hungry at the time). The employees helped us figure out what to order and answered all our questions we had to offer. They were very kind, and with my ukulele in hand, my friends and I played a song for them xD.
To summarize my visit, Goffles Waffles offers great tasting food at a great price and with great service! I will definitely came back!!!

Creative and delicious! Tried their ham n cheese waffle sandwich and the roast beef, both were delish! Must try!
