the Dr did a procedure that found something that could have been much worse if i had waited a year or 2 longer. very gratefull to Dr Khorsandi and his staff is amazing! theyre always calling and/​or answering my questions. overall i had an really good experience with this office and will continue going for all my GI needs

I haven’t even seen the dr yet but I’ve been sitting in the waiting room for going on 2 hours so I will NEVER come here again regardless of how good the dr is!!! This is absolutely ridiculous

This review is not for the doctor because I did not get a chance to see the doctor.
7 minutes into the phone conversation with his front desk was enough to earn this 1 star review. I couldn’t get a word in without getting interrupted. The receptionist had a tone with me from the first second and after taking down all of my information I was told the doctor refuses to see me because I’ve seen a GI specialist in the last 3 years.
Any question I asked was answered unprofessionally and incompletely.
Dodged a bullet with this one now that I’ve seen the other reviews.

Dr. Khorsandi is one of the few GI doctors I know who goes out of his way to care and treat his patients. I felt he genuinely enjoyed helping me and you can see it in the way he interacted with me and other patients. He is very professional, empathetic, forthright, and through. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone who needs a humane, and confident GI.

One of the worst doctors offices I have ever been to. I took time off my lunch had my paperwork and insurance ready to go waited there for over 30 min when I was promised not to wait. After waiting I was told I can’t see the doctor because I have seen another doctor before and that «doctors don’t want to step on other doctors toes» which in other words means they don’t allow you to get another opinion if you’ve ever in your life seen another doctor. It had been over 3 years I had seen a doctor and was willing to do anything to be seen but they rudely turned me away because their office is sadly money hungry. I Will never have our office send them anymore patients and I find it really sad that a person who graduated med school cannot understand how to treat their patients. The only reason I am even giving this one star is for the nice Armenian girl at the front desk that apologized for the situation.

My Dad had an appointment with the Doctor 45 days in advance. When he showed up to see the Dr. on the day of the appointment, the front desk receptionist asked him if he had seen another specialist recently, to which my Dad answered honestly that he had. The receptionist then refused service and said that the Dr. will not see him. My Dad then calmly explained that he had waited 45 days to see the Dr. and didn’t understand why she was preventing him from seeing the Dr. She then had the nerve to tell my 72 year old Dad that she would call security if he did not leave. Absolutely unbelievable and an embarrassment. A joke of an office, and a joke of a front office staff!

All the doctor does is complain about his patients to his receptionists and does the bare minimum when he is with you. Doesn’t even examine to see what’s wrong. I will be finding another specialist instead of this one.

Front desk receptionist quick to offer advice when all I wanted was an appointment! If you went to med school, perhaps then you’d have a valid opinion. Wouldn’t even let me speak! Rude! I will take my business elsewhere. Dr. Mehdi hope you’re reading this.

He was professional, clear, and efficient during my one visit. His front office staff is rude, unprofessional, and inefficient. I tried to get some changes made to his evaluation of my condition, and was refused, and asked not to go elsewhere. During my only visit, he had already referred me to another doctor. The phone call from his office and the comments made were unnecessary.

KHORSANDI IS DANGEROUS!!! THIS DOCTOR ORDERS TESTS WITHOUT EVEN HAVING SEEN THE PATIENT FIRST.
TO BEGIN WITH, HERE IS THE SCARY PART: This supposed Doctor ordered a CT scan for my loved one without even seeing her. Luckily, there is a doctor in our family who told us that ordering a CT scan without even seeing a patient first is a BIG RED FLAG and that this Doctor Khorsandi has no clue and is not practicing standard of care medicine or even good medicine at that.
Khorsandi, is completely unprofessional as a doctor and I agree with ALL the other people who have posted on here about him being torturous and cold to patients and their families. He has repeatedly refused to talk to our family about our loved one at the hospital.
DO NOT trust this man with your loved ones. There is something wrong with this doctor. NO doctor that has ever treated my grandmother has completely refused to talk to us.
Someone needs to REPORT this man to the MEDICAL BOARD.

Dr. Khorsandi took over when my previous GI doctor passed away. I was a little tentative at first, as I really liked my other doctor. However Dr. Khorsandi was very warm and I was instantly at ease talking about my current problems. He was helpful and thorough and I would recommend him to others in need of a good GI.

Medicine. Dr Khorsandi is in of the well respected physicians in Glendale. Every patient knows after a single visit.

I’ve been in the medical field for 12 years and I have personally worked with Dr Khorsandi for over 6 years. I work with Dr Khorsandi side by side during most of his procedures. The reviews that were given by Alan T. Suzanne T. and
Bahama M. are totally out of line. I personally worked with Dr Khorsandi during that patients care. We came in on a Saturday just for that patient in question. The patient was an inpatient of Glendale Memorial Hospital. Several of the staff had already warned us about the patients family members. The family members were pushy they did not respect other patients privacy and wandered around the facility as they pleased even after several attempts to have them stay in the family waiting area. Mr Alan T. was very aggressive and asked the same questions over and over again, even following Dr Khorsandi into the elevator and outside to the street area. Security was called and a formal complaint was made. By the time security came Alan T. had already fled the scene avoiding security repercussion. Alan T. had several formal complaints filed by other nursing staff and was asked on several occasions to please not wander around other patient areas. Alan T. was non compliant and was loud making a scene and agitating medical staff. We as health care professionals have an almost unlimited amount of patience when it comes to family members and patient care. When is enough enough? How much can we be followed by family members that cannot accept what we are saying to them? How much compromise of privacy to other patients can we tolerate by irate family members that cannot accept loved ones diagnosis? Maybe its not the the staff or even the doctor they are so upset about. Perhaps its the loss of a loved one that makes us so unmanageable sometimes. Dr Khorsandi has had years and years or medical school and years upon years of experience. Dr Khorsandi is a healer a doctor and a care taker. Sometimes unfortunately he has to tell us things we may not accept, but that’s also part of his job. He cannot always change the way things are and he cannot always tell us what we want to hear, no matter how many times we ask. As a health care proffesional what I’ve noticed is that sometimes we have to take the good with the bad. I and all of Glendale Memorial Hospital stand by Dr Khorsandi and we give him our utmost trust and respect.

This doctor added torture to an already distressing event for both elderly patient and family by being cold, insensitive, callous, abrupt, refusing to answer questions, actually accusing a family member of «harassment» because he wanted to find out his father’s condition and prognosis and was asking in a calm, reasonable manner. Dr. Khorsandi exhibited inexcusable, possibly unethical behavior certainly not worthy of Glendale Memorial Hospital. He should be investigated and his privileges should be revoked. He should not be allowed to continue treating patients or their families in this abusive manner.
If it were possible I would give him five negative stars.

I would not even give this faux «professional» any stars, but it is a required field! If I were you, I would not let him around you or a loved one. I definitely won’t again. He has absolutely no compassion for his patients or the family of his patients. He is a «busy man» (his words) and cannot give the time of day to answer any questions. His attitude is that he is just a cog in an assembly line and passes the buck to other healthcare professionals. You are warned!!!

I highly recommend Dr. Mehdi Khorsandi he has a great bed side manner and is
one of the best doctors I have ever had.
