Michael working as a cashier is a cool guy his service is awesome i could tell he actually cares for the guest satisfaction he was nice and helped me pick me a good drink cuz i was indecisive

Pretty good coffee and food, unfortunately, the service here could use some help. Not only did they almost forget to give me the blueberry muffin that I had paid for, but they also didn’t seem to show any care when I requested it again.
Me: «Uh, where is the blueberry muffin I ordered?»
Cashier: «What?»
Me: «Remember when I was stood here ten minutes ago and I asked for that blueberry muffin along with the Mocha Latte?»
Cashier: «Oh, right.» *Slowly walks over and tosses a blueberry muffin into a bag* «Here.»
Really?

Central location but slooow service in the mornings. Not ideal if you’re in a rush to get to work in the morning.

I used to prefer Coffee Bean to Starbucks. Will reconsider after visiting this one.
One of the the baristas has no customer service skills whatsoever. She was rude and unprofessional. Did not check her name, (she was the only girl making coffee on Apr-​26 around 8am).
Never coming to this Coffee Bean.

I enjoyed my Sunday cup of joe at this location. Staff was friendly and made a couple of recommendations on drinks since I’m not a regular here. I’m trying to give another coffee joint a try other than Starbucks

I must say this place HAS BY FAR THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER ! HORRIBLE SERVICE ! I cannot emphasize on how bad their service is, here at this location. It’s located in front of Glendale Community College & it is the only coffee shop located within walking distance from the campus. So students have to put up with their horrible customer services just to get a cup of coffee that sometimes isn’t EVEN made well. As a GCC student, I’m truly disappointed that I can’t even get a cup of coffee without being treated rudely.

We were leaving the Glendale area and needed to grab a quick breakfast and this was along the way. Just your typical neighborhood Coffee Bean.
We ordered:
— a hot tea
— mini donuts (glazed and sprinkles)
— jalapeño bagel with cream cheese
Nothing overly amazing. Good location heading to the freeway!

The best coffee i’ve ever had. Its convenient ’cause it’s near campus (Im sorry but your booths on campus aren’t very good). The red head who works morning shifts is always on point with my Hazelnut Latte (i dunno if she still works there though). All the staff is generally happy and great for quick conversation if you need it. Never had a mishap with this location. Staff is great and the coffee and baked goods are great.

The women manager is very rude and unprofessional. No customer service skills. She seemed unhappy to work there. Never going back

I love coming to this coffee shop. It is close to my home, the baristas are very friendly and always happy, even when most customers are not morning people. They always make you feel welcomed and somehow slip in a joke or a smile in there to brighten up their customers’ day.
They have a parking lot, which they share with several other businesses. But there always usually is parking available.
I love trying new things. So I always keep an eye out for their «Specials» board. They have seasonal drinks, or different promotions that coffee lovers can take advantage of. I do enjoy going in to this location very much!

Terrible service. Manager chased me out of the building because I asked for water. It was a girl manager. Didn’t bother to catch her name but I actually liked coffee bean until now. Manager was on a power trip with what little power she had lol

THE employees are very hard workers but the manager anna is very rude and always giving attitude to her customers and employees and seems like she just isnt qualified for her position as a «manager»

I’m not a fan of coffee bean do to there service on there drinks but the coffee bean here is excellent the morning crew are always great and helpful in deciding you a drink or remember your regular drink especially when your in a rush. Lexi is very helpful and staff as well

This is a great Coffee Bean spot. It’s accessible to the freeway off Mountain and there’s usually parking even though it’s shared with a number of food establishments.
Coffee Bean rocks when it comes to Americano and Mocha/​Espresso drinks. Their tea leaves are awesome blossom and refreshing. I always buy a container or two of Cherry Blossom tea to bring home. I love the way the tea bags are contained. It’s so pinky fancy. They also sell loose tea leaves which I have yet to try one day.
This place is clean, has decent seating with stools, leather seats and booths. Staff are friendly and spot on with drink orders!

This place is great! I love the coffee bean, especially at this location! one thing: I LOVE hot chocolate. sometimes, like 50% of the time when I come here (and I come here often)… the hot chocolate is watery. Sometimes it’s so bad, that it’s just hot water. Other times, it would be PERFECT and I would want more!
OH AND PLEASE change the muffin flavors every once in a while! I’m kinda tired of seeing blueberry muffins all the time!
I will change my review if they made the changes!

I love this Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf location in particular because of their welcoming and friendly staff! I really appreciate all the hard work and effort they put in to make my coffee and tea experience just right! They make things seem effortless and that’s what makes tbem so efficient. Today I tried their new holiday drink, it’s seriously like Christmas in a cup: it’s called the Winter Dream latte and you can get it either hot or cold. I got the hot version and it was fantastic! Traci helped me out today: she was wonderful, one of the friendliest people I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with! Javier made my drink and let me tell you, he’s a pro: it tasted great! Thank you guys for always making my experience a pleasant one! You can be sure to see me again soon!

I love coffee bean, I used to frequent a coffee bean when I used to live in Torrance for about two or three years and was so glad to find this coffee bean across from the GCC campus when I moved here last year. I haven’t had any problem with the drink they make here and I love the chai tea latte and the green tea latte here (don’t get the starbucks ones!) I’m also a sucker for hummus and they have small packs of pretzel snacks with hummus in their snack counter, which is the perfect combo with a fruit tea.
Their wifi doesn’t work that well sometimes, which could be a problem because a lot of people come to this coffee bean to study and use the internet. The manager should seriously consider getting a new wifi router or else the student customers will decrease! :/​
It’s cool because this coffee bean, although by the GCC campus, isn’t always full of students. I think it’s because of the bean café which serves coffee bean coffee on the campus, but nothing beats the original coffee bean taste here. I take a few morning classes and I love relaxing here before my class, despite the busy atmosphere. coffee bean is always great!

As much of a coffee snob my friends make me out to be, I actually really enjoy the espresso drinks from Coffee Bean. They actually pull shots! No button pressing here for burnt espresso –sorry starbucks, you just don’t do it for me.
This CB in particular I really love. It’s crazy how great the customer service is here. No one would ever expect to see such happy, friendly employees at a chain. The best part of my weekday mornings is thanks to them. I love walking in being greeted by my name and with genuine smiles. Lemme tell you a story real quick before I continue to rave about how much I love it here: As most of you know Unilocal just celebrated its big 10 year! (Happy Buuuurrsstday Unilocal!:) and I got lucky enough to go up to SF to join in on the festivities. Well, up until that week I had been coming to this CB religiously at 9:30am Monday — Friday. So when I went back to my routine after coming home, I never expected to be greeted with such … I’ll call it love :) I got a big «good morning Queenie! We’ve missed you! The usual?» Ugh, LOVE! That was hands down the best welcome I’ve ever had after a long trip. That morning, I officially fell in love with CB.
I love the drinks, both hot and cold. The staff is amazing and make it feel like I’m walking into a friend house rather than a store. The price is perfect! I don’t mind paying $ 7+ for a nice latte but the fact that it doesn’t cost more than $ 4-​$ 5 here is a huge bonus. And no long lines here, the staff is on to of their game!

Here is the deal — This IS my wife and I’s Coffee Bean. We love coming here. Love all the people. Love the manager. Love the location. Love the vibe of the place — we can hang out for hours on our computer if need be and it is comfortable (except on a really busy school day)
They always remember our usual and in fact get tripped up when we order something different.
Here is our ONLY complaint: A couple years ago, the building management got rid of the guard that made sure the college student’s did not park there. Well… needless to say, we hardly go nowadays because we can’t get a parking spot. It doesn’t seem to matter what time of day it is. THE PARKING LOT IS ALWAYS PACKED but the businesses (including THE BEAN) are practically empty. Please, bring back the guard. Students should not be parking there. Just sayin’…Don’t hate.
Something needs to be done.

I felt like my old review needed an update:
After 2 years of attending GCC, this is still the place I visit every day!
I have NEVER seen any problems with the servers.
I have NEVER experienced anything wrong with the orders.
I have NEVER been unsatisfied with the quality of the drinks as well.
Recently I was getting a bit bored of getting the same thing, so I started to ask the baristas for a «surprise» flavored tea every time I went!
Each time, they gave me something amazing!
It’s true, it’s a bit crowded, but keep in mind that majority of customers are students from GCC, which is located a couple of steps away from this location.
