Loved this place. The owner was so friendly and the food was delicious. I order the Viking pizza and 2 drink for only 15 dollars. They gave us complimentary fresh out of oven bread and coleslaw. They were playing football

Tried the Filet Mignon pizza the first time. It was awesome. Tried the Kabob pizza the second time. It was also awesome! My wife had the Capri, and thought it was great! The Swedish pizza salad is delicious. My wife liked it, too. They also serve complimentary little pieces of pizza bread that is really tasty. Nice décor. The owner is very friendly. Highly recommended!

Love this place! Never knew there was Swedish pizza but now I do and its awesome. This is just a little hole in the wall place, but cute, and the staff are all so welcoming. I usually just stop in on the way home from work and wait while they prepare my pizza. Its such a sweet vibe in there that it puts me in a good mood. Make sure the older guy makes your pie cuz he cares and it shows. They also have kabob dishes cuz, Glendale, so if pizza isn’t your thing you can give that a whirl. Hit them up. They won’t let you down.

Had high expectations coming here based on Unilocal reviews. The service was friendly, and the food came out fast. We ordered a soltani and a pizza. Everything tasted good, but nothing was too memorable. There are some great deals if you order for delivery, and the prices were good for what you got. I’ll come back again if I’m in the area.

This pizza is SODELICIOUS!!! I read some of the reviews after the name alone caught my attention. «Viking Pizza??! Well, I’m just gonna have to say yes to that.» I live in the area and I’m glad because I’m back for the second time this week(just to be sure it was as awesome as I thought the first time, haha). Great price for a medium sized pie(I got the«Make My Own»). The sauce has a surprising kick to it, but not in an overwhelming sense(I can’t handle too much spice), it just sends a nice zing to the palate. I used to live in NYC, where I fell in love with pizza the right way. Now, I wouldn’t necessarily compare the two, however, to a discerning palate, Viking Pizza DEFINITELY knows how to please. «I’ll be back…» P. S. When I got home, I told both my roommates about it. Luckily, they had both eaten, so I didn’t have to share. Mwahahaa…

Purchased a Groupon for 2 groupons at $ 15 each. Got sucked in by the Swedish Pizza which I’ve never had before in my life. The pictures made the pizzas look so exotic and interesting! We ordered: 1. #16 Viking Pizza(mozzarella, kabob, onion, peperchini, sauce) @ $ 9.99 for medium(4⁄5 stars): The pizza had a really delicious thin crust, and the white sauce drizzled on top was really the cherry on top. Tasted fresh and yummy! It is slightly on the heavier side, but I think they balanced that out by making it super thin crust so it wasn’t too bad. 2. #32 Combo King(pork lion, beef) @ $ 15.90(3⁄5 stars): Kabobs were tasty and juicy, but the sauce/flavoring they used wasn’t my absolute favorite. I prefer the kabob plates at Sepan Chicken. I’m glad they included a roasted jalapeño pepper though ;) Really helps wrap up the dish. 3. Ikra appetizer @ $ 4.50(3⁄5 stars): Armenian eggplant dip. First time trying it, pretty good! A little on the sour side which I liked. They gave you some of the hummus bread to eat with the ikra. Service was really good. The lady at the cashier gave us recommendations on the appetizer and she was super friendly and pleasant. OVERALL… I’d come back here just for their pizza, since there are so many options! *Street parking *Delivery available with minimum purchase of $ 15; if delivery is at least $ 20, comes with 2 liter soda, if delivery is at least $ 40, comes with chicken wings &2 liter soda, if at least $ 60, comes with 2 liter soda, chicken wings and one medium pizza

I’ve driven by this place a few times and it definitely caught my eye, being Swedish myself. So my wife and I went to try it out after reading a few Unilocal reviews. It’s a small but clean place with very friendly staff who were willing to answer any questions we had. I ordered a medium Viking pizza with white sauce while my wife got a custom made pizza. Okay, it took a while for the food to be ready but the wait is worth it. You know that when it’s not very busy but it still takes a while for the food, they’re making it fresh. Fortunately, I have patience and understanding for things like this. And the food was quite fresh. You could tell that the veggies on my pizza were very fresh, both in taste and texture, which makes a huge difference. The pizza was really good and those who recommended this one were spot on. I saw several other reviews saying that a medium here was closer to a personal pizza elsewhere. Don’t believe it. The medium was larger than I was led to believe and, despite the thin crust, was surprisingly filling. I could only get through about half of it before I had to ask for the rest to go. And I’m a fairly big guy. You definitely get your money’s worth here, comparable in price to most cheap chain pizza joints, and with the fresh ingredients, it definitely pushes this place above any of those. I highly recommend this place. I’m going to look forward to coming back and trying some of their other menu offerings. That Valhalla looks pretty good…

Bought a groupon for two groupons valued at $ 15 each. We ordered the beef kabob plate, a medium vegetarian pizza and large Hawaiian pizza. The portion size for the plate was huge and pizzas were quite good. I’d come back if I was local.

This is a little gem in Glendale I am so happy to have found! My husband had tried their chicken sandwich and kept raving about it being the best chicken sandwich he’s had. So I had to try it out myself 3 of us went in and were greeted with a smile(which is always nice to see as it is rare in Glendale!) we ordered their chicken kabob sand which and a pizza(pictures uploaded). Wow!!! They both tasted so good! We also got bread and feta cheese, sounds weird but even the bread tasted amazing! Come to find out their bread is made from scratch right at the place itself! You definitely taste the freshness and deliciousness I will definitely be back here, great quality fresh food for a VERY reasonable price!

Pleasantly surprised! We placed an order over the phone and our pizza was ready in about 10 minutes. We ordered the Viking and the Kabob pizzas, both mediums, which were basically personal sized pizzas. I thought it was very filling and couldn’t finish the entire pizza. For $ 9 with a side of Swedish coleslaw, it’s very reasonable. Viking pizza — I didn’t even bother to check what ingredients were in it because after looking at photos, I just had this intuitive sense that this particular pizza belonged to me. The crust is on the thinner side but still substantial, and has a great mix of meat and some onions, with veggies/salad on top. Plus that white sauce makes it a little more moist and garlicky. Loved it. Kabob pizza — Basically the same as Viking but without the salad greens on top. I thought it was a little on the salty side but overall quite good. Again the white sauce really makes the pizza. Swedish coleslaw/salad — delicious. I actually love vinegary coleslaw, coming from the south, and this one was unique because it had a variety of herbs in it. So it’s more of an herbal type coleslaw, with dried thyme and oregano(I think), and possibly dill. I even dipped my crust in the leftover juice cause it was so delish. The one thing that I only realized later, was not being asked what kind of pizza sauce I wanted. Apparently you can choose from tomato, garlic pesto, or a white base sauce. Kind of bummed that I didn’t get garlic pesto bc that sounds amaaaazing. Otherwise my husband and I thought the pizza was great, filling, and the server who helped us was the nicest guy! Excellent takeout experience.

It’s a very small casual restaurant, the woman who owns it just moved to the states nine months ago. Great service and great food! I’m Persian so it was awesome to try a Swedish take on pizza while also eating kabob… so many flavor and different types of foods you don’t know what to choose! I had the la Maffia pizza which was BOMB, I wish it was an over easy egg on top but it was baked and still tasted delicious. So glad I got to try this little gem while passing through Glendale! Definitely recommend for small groups that just want a quick bite to eat!

Being from Sweden, I can attest to the authenticity of this place and its pizzas. This guy used to have a pizzeria in Sweden and is continuing it here and let me tell you, he does it right.:) People get confused as to how a food that is attributed to Italy with ingredients and toppings that are mediterranean in association can be called Swedish style. The shortest answer is probably because the combination originated in Sweden, cannot be found almost anywhere else but in Sweden(although in recent years this pizza style has started to pop up in other countries as well) and has since become a virtual staple of the average Swede. Vartan has told me he is planning on expanding his menu soon to include up to maybe 10 more pizza varieties and one of my all-time favorites will be featured in that list: the beef filet(oxfilè), béarnaise sauce pizza! Sooo good! Thin crust, slightly charred edges here and there, plenty of toppings and a different variety of them is what makes it Swedish in style. Back in Sweden you could find pizzas with cactus meat, reindeer meat in different forms, ostrich and the list goes on. Basically think of something you like to eat, put it on a pizza and you have created a Swedish style pizza.:) The medium is about enough for 1 person, most likely not for 2. Large is usually perfect for 2 people. If you eat there you get some bread and a typical Swedish style pizza salad(shredded cabbage in a vinegar sauce with spices). Normal wait time of 15 minutes or so usually. Vartan makes the best pizzas in there so if you go and he’s not in that day or whatever, go back when he’s there and taste the difference.:)

Passed by many times thinking«what the frock is a VIKINGPIZZA?» Well, tonight we found out. Greek salad, lentil soup, VIKINGPIZZA. Hot delicious bread came out without us ordering it… Salad fresh generous, soup was lightly citrusy — and pizza… Well there was an oops in our order and, once that was figured out… Easily… We took the pie home. It was psychedelic looking… Fun… I have to admit the pie and the flavors grew on me with each slice. By the fourth slice I was a fan. Strange right? Out of everything though… I have to say, that the complementary side salad, possibly a Viking salad… Was killer. Capital Murder. Awesome. Not sure what they put in that… But wickedly murderous.

I was a little skeptical about trying this place, the previous restaurant that was at this location was a flop. The food was not good the service was horrible. I ordered a beef wrap I played it safe. To my surprise the pizza maker began to roll out the dough for the wrap I ordered. He then put the meet on the open fire to BBQ Right away I knew this was going to be good. It took I little longer than I wanted to wait but it was worth. The meet medium rare, the vegetable they used nice and fresh and the wrap it self was fresh and freshly baked.

Friendly faces greeted me. Good first sign. They see me and I’m wanted here. First time trying Viking and Kabob. The style of dishes here are a Swedish pizza with Middle Eastern flavors, meats etc. I overheard that they are from Luxemberg. I ordered the #16 dubbed Viking. Medium sized and suitable for my hunger. Made right in front of me gives off an intimate, NY feeling of small talk and back and forth questions. The Viking included kabob meat, feta cheese and feferoni which is a bite able, spicy pepper. My food took about 10 minutes to make and I was impressed with the flavors. Swedish pizza might be my new guilty pleasure. Located on the corner of Cerritos and San Fernando Blvd. come on in and enjoy the atmosphere of 50’s-60’s crooners played lightly over the speaker, friendly, enthusiastic conversation and some of the best thin crust in LA.

«Swedish Pizza!?? What is THAT?» That’s what I first thought when I saw their Grand Opening signs. Like, they put gravlax on it or something? Then I realized it was also kabobs, so I was like hey why not. Glendale has a lot of good Mediterranean food, but that particular area is kinda dead. Came in for lunch with my husband today and immediately noticed it was almost completely full. I snagged the last table and he ordered at the counter: chicken kabob sandwich for me and a medium margarita pizza for him. Couldn’t believe the pizza was only $ 6.99. The food came out relatively quickly, and while we waited the owner brought us a basket of bread and two cabbage salads. Both were delicious. My chicken kabob wrap was awesome! I loved the creamy dressing on it. It reminded me of the sauce I’ve had on traditional döner kabob. The sandwich is chock full of fresh veggies and served on a home made pita. The pizza had a great dough and not too much circumference crust. The sauce is perfect, with that tangy and herbaceous quality you don’t find too many places anymore. I should have asked why it’s Swedish. There’s a lot of outdoor seating and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Still not sure I really understand what«Swedish pizza» is, but I highly recommend Viking for a meal(extra points for playing Frank Sinatra).
