WaBa Grill

This branch has charged my card a total of 16 times totalling $ 178.72. I only ate here once. I called the the shop to ask for a refund and was told the manager would call me back. After two days and no call, I went in to talk to a manager. The manager was not in (on a busy Saturday) but the district manager was, she didn’t even want to leave her office to talk to me. Instead, sent Kate (wonderful cashier) to relay her message. She refused to refund me and had the balls to tell me that it’s not their fault and that I had to call my bank. I’ve filed 2 separate reports and have had to cancel my card. Be careful eating here, either their system is faulty or there is a charge happy person behind the till. This situation was handled horribly and the management team does not care about their patrons. I will not be coming back here.

Great taste and healthy options. I had the half chicken half steak with white rice and veggies. Really good.

Not sure why but every time I have come here they never seem to get my order right. It’s probably the only place that’s semi healthy for me to eat compared to the other fast food restaurants inside the mall but that’s only if they would get my order correct. I really think the reason is because the workers there are not very friendly and they seem to always be laughing while they work. Hence, the orders always come out wrong. I’ve gone to other Waba Grills and they seem to get my order right because they’re paying attention to their customers.
It’s not that hard I usually order a veggie bowl with chicken white meat or the half/​half veggie bowl with white meat chicken and steak and NO added teriyaki sauce. They always have white rice in the bowl and the meat is brushed on with teriyaki sauce. I don’t mind if it’s the sauce from the grill but i don’t want it brushed or added on, just basically dry. The food is good but the service definitely sucks.

I love Waba Grill, but this place sucks! Really bad customer service and their attitude wow, if you don’t like this job just quit. This place is very dirty. My veggies were raw. People waiting to order for about 5 minutes and no cashier at the register.

Came here for lunch today. Fast friendly service! Food is always great. Fresh ingredients and not too long of a wait to order and get food! Great location inside the mall. Who said you have to eat unhealthy just cause you’re shopping.

OMG !!! I’m not exactly a health nut, but the food seemed so fresh and tasty. I went with the Salmon Veggie bowl w/​white rice and a side order of beef… im a carnivore … what can I say… Food was simply seasoned and they use an amazing brown sauce, possible terriyaki with a season blend… who knows but it was finger licking good !!

I give this waba grill 2 stars only because it’s much cleaner than others Iv been to. The staff is pretty bad it seems like they get upset every time they see a costume and are always talking in Spanish I understand a little bit and some of the things they say are just gross. The food is always under cooked or burnt. This place needs to be managed better.

I came here to try it and ordered the chicken/​steak combo plate. The food is good and prices not bad. Good place to go for something healthy.

Waba Grill is a decent eating option in the food court at the Glendale Galleria.
The food here is pretty good, I like the chicken plate with extra green onions on top.
They also need to put more sauce on the chicken, I don’t feel that its quite as much.
I do like eating here at the Glendale Galleria vs other places since they make the food right in front of you so you know its pretty fresh. I know its cliché, but its true: What you see is what you get!
Overall this is one of the better dining options at the Glendale Galleria

I usually come to Waba while at the mall because it’s one of the healthier options here. The food tastes fresh, delicious and light! I know I can walk out of here without feeling gross, something I can’t say about panda express.

Whenever I’m on a health crunch, I come here. There is a lot of things on the menu I can order from. Some things include a chicken veggie bowl no rice no teriyaki sauce, white meat, extra chicken for about 8 bucks or a salmon salad around 11 bucks.
On top of the variety of healthy options Waba has to offer. This one in particular has some fast service. I have never had an experience with this place where I was waiting more than 5 minutes for my food.
The table seating is adequate, but sometimes feels limited because it is inside the mall. However, there is plenty of seating outside.
Quick. Fast. Healthy.

This is what happens when, your taste buds are so pleased with amazing flavored salmon. Mmm… delicious, warm, grilled to perfection. Not on any grill, but a Waba Waba Grill. ;). Those beautiful seared marks, just beg you to pour that teriyaki sauce over your protein… with dashes of hot sauce. The sweet, and the spice, the salmon sitting on those whole grains of brown rice. The orange slice just waits patiently to be your mini dessert ending. While the small salad is temporarily ignored, as you go full on into carb and protein mode. No words!!! (I’m craving it now!)
The service is quick, and friendly.

This location has loads of tables & chairs, benches against walls. A few tables needed to be wiped down. Small bar type seating near entrance. A worker shouting out one number after another. Put her in ignore mode: in through one ear and out the other.
The condiments bar has your jalapeños, and carrots but they aren’t spicy. Mild… at least for me. Carrots taste like exactly that carrots. Quite a disappointment… I was expecting them to be spicy, and pickled. Oh well!
The water cups are so tiny, it’s practically a joke. I couldn’t hold my laughter upon seeing it. It looked like a cup you use to rinse your mouth. Hahaha. My sis goes: «I guess I’ll be refilling a lot.» Yup, sorry sis!

Conveniently located inside the Glendale galleria. Chicken was decent but the beef was a tad bit too dry. Portion is decent size. For the price I guess it’s worth it. Make sure to get lots of extra Waba sauce!!! If I had to choose is get the Hawaiian bbq instead…

For a «mall meal» WaBa Grill is an excellent choice for shoppers who are health conscience. They have fire grilled chicken and beef or vegetable plate options. You are able to customize your meal with either white or brown rice. I appreciate that fresh vegetables– cabbage, carrots and broccoli– are included in the meal. A far cry from other restaurants who hid or withhold fresh and healthy choices.
I order the #24 Kid’s Chicken Steak Veggie with brown rice and a small drink all under $ 5. It’s a perfect portion for those (like me) who are huge on portion control. The beef has a delicious teriyaki sauce glaze on it that is a decent savory flavor. I would beware of the the extra squeeze of glaze, due to the potential large amounts of sugar within the sauce. The chicken has a nice char and is moist. Overall, for a $ 5 meal, it’s an easy go to.
Plus, you get great Wifi connection in here.
