Pharmacy is slow! In the drive thru line, I am always waiting about 10 minutes. The staff are friendly and helpful. I just really hate waiting so long when my doctor sends the prescription electronically. I just have to pick it up. Sometimes it is longer inside because there many people in the drive thru. Just think there should be an easier system that would work well for both the customers and staff.

As sick as I am I still need to leave this review. I called all around to try to find the walk in clinic at Walgreens since I have no insurance and I just need some antibiotics… I stopped in this Walgreens which was about 20 minutes from my house because it was the only one minute clinic around, only to find that I needed to use the touchscreen computer that all the sick people were using, let alone a 45 minute wait for the doctor to come back from lunch, then start seeing patients. I was able to kill some time and get some errands done but when I came back to Walgreens I found that I was still number eight on the list and I still had about 2 ½ hours to wait. When I asked for assistance from the pharmacy they had no answers and they didn’t know anything about the clinic since it’s a separate entity altogether. When I inquired about a price– again, they didn’t know anything… luckily I asked some of waiting patients and they told me $ 90 plus the meds. Well, instead of sitting in a waiting area with all these sick people while I wait another two hours after already waiting an hour, I gave up. I’ll just stay sick, I have no more energy to try to find medicine. This place sucks!

WORST Walgreens! I went in early this morning to download my photos from my phone onto a CD. I asked the girl working behind the counter if I could wait for the CD to print.(I know this only takes a minute as I used to work for Walgreens) She said yes. I was walking around for about 15 minutes when I finally walked up to the front to see if it was done as she had not called my name. The team lead was up front now and informed me that the girl never released the order so it had not even started yet. Once it began they did not seem to know that you have to switch out the CD when the first one is full. 45 minutes later they still did not have my order done! I was so patient and understanding but I reached my limit. I had to leave and asked that they call me when the order was done. Good thing I didn’t hold my breath as 2 hours later I still haven’t heard from them. The lead was kind enough to give me a discount but honestly, it does not make up for their incompetence and the hour of my day that I lost. I would not recommend this location of you have something important you need work on.

I checked in for a blood test with Theranos. Very happy with Theranos. Good staff that painlessly took blood for a lab test.

I love this location, living in the neighborhood, it’s a regular stop for me, however, I have only used the store itself — have not used photo or the prescription areas. Always find the cosmetics employees to be very friendly and helpful, often letting me use their coupons which they have on hand to give you more savings on stuff you weren’t even aware of. Everyone is always very friendly and welcoming.

Honestly I would give this place negative stars if possible… RACIST… PREDJUDICE… UNFRIENDLY. My sisters and I were here today(9−7−15) to buy water before we hit the road back to LA… There being only a handful of people in the store at the time, we hear a call for a Code Q and for security to walk to the floor. I thought that was odd, but never the less, paid for my items and proceeded out of the store with my sisters. Then upon leaving it seemed the entire staff needed to escort us out… While we were getting situated in the car I noticed that all the ladies working in the cosmetics area gathered at the entryway and watched us as we prepared to leave. We returned to the store and asked if there was a problem with us being in the store. The manager on shift, Regina, then told us that it was reported that one of us placed a nail polish in our purses. Another employee, Sam, had decided to join in the situation, I say this, because we requested to speak with the manager, not a store clerk. Needless to say, I’m outraged. None of us would steal anything let alone something as menial as nail polish from Walgreens. We asked that they review the tape and have now waited 30mins for them to come back with an apology. Do not shop here. I have returned my items and will lodge a formal complaint with their corporate office after the holiday. Again do not shop here unless you really like discrimination, horrible service, and being judged by the color of your skin… The references to racisim and prejudices are based on the«coincicedence» that we were the only people of color in the store at the time. No other customer milling about were accused of such acts. An update to this post: As we waited for the manager to return, we had asked another store clerk if there was any progress, he went to the back of the store check for us. She, Regina the shift manager, had called the Phoenix police on us stating that we were refusing to leave… To say that I’m not only horrified and disgusted by these actions does not quite cover it. We had told her that we would like proof of the accusations, for her to review the tape and to let us know what she saw. We also informed her that we had a 5 hour drive ahead of us. When she reviewed the tape… to which there was some debate as to whether she was able to or not… however, upon reviewing the tape and seeing that none of us had taken anything… she simply could have produced a business card, apologized for the misunderstanding. No apologies were issued, our next step here is to contact various people in their upper management until this situation is handled properly. We as consumers are not to be easily brushed aside. To tell me there is no need to be upset does not nullify the situation. I literally felt physically ill from the stress this incident has caused. I currently do not wish to do any further business with this company. This branch, the people who work there, the manner in which the Phoenix police handled the situation and the company as a whole was an all around horrible experience. Save yourself the trouble, patron other places, but if you insist on shopping here be sure you let them know of every item you touch and decided not to buy has been left on the shelf.

The nurse practitioner here is slower than a corpse. First off she is redoing the height, weight and BP that the nurse did initially to check her in. She is wasting time and doesn’t care how long she takes. We made an appointment and this sports physical should only take 20 mins tops and it’s going on 20 mins and she is no where near complete. Only come here if you have all freaking day to spend on an appointment.

Quick run in to get some random stuff like mosquito repellant and bug bite medicine and band-aids. Location is great. Staff could use some pick me ups. Not very much help once I got there. Tried to ask for some help and got pointed into someone else’s direction. I found what I needed on my own.

We must confess that we only ever used this Walgreens if our CVS did not have the rx we needed or if we just needed something really quick as it is closer to us than CVS. We also chose CVS over this Walgreens because of their superior customer service, super fast and knowledgeable pharmacy team and overall polite staff. Then something happened, almost overnight it seems, CVS became everything we hated about Walgreens and Walgreens became everything we loved about CVS. We don’t know how it happened but we’ll never return to CVS(especially as we gave them 3 more tries and they failed miserably everytime) and we are now very happy as Walgreens converts :-) Way to go guys, you really turned things around and we love it!

I’ve had mostly good experiences here. Mostly I go here for the Healthcare clinic for blood tests and ongoing maintenance for my hypertension. All three of the PRNs I have met have been very thorough. But they were also handy when I came down with strep last year. The pharmacy is nice. If you are paying out of pocket for generics make sure to buy in to their discount plan. I’ve also bought some other health incidentals while in there.

Very rude customer service. I had came to drop off and pick up a prescription for my son and noticed three boxes of diapers for 18.99 each. I go to pay and the rude man says it’s 28.99. I go back to show him that there was more then one and it showed the price for 18.99. He replies«that’s for another brand and I’m not giving it to you for that price» Could he have been any more ruder. I mean I know it was close to midnight and he might have been moody and tired but this will be the last time I step into this Walgreens.

Went to the take care clinic where the Dr was great! He was very thorough, made a diagnosis, got my prescriptions and I was on my way to feeling better. I will go back to this location just for the DR.

This location pretty darn busy, esp the PHOTO dept. There was only 1 frantic employee in Photo trying to multi-task(GEEZ!!! Hire MORE employees!). Both photo kiosks were busy, Photo Lady trying to refill ink cartridges, and an elderly lady in the front of the line complaining(a good 5 – 10 minutes that a Mgr had to be called over) that she received 3 photo CDs, instead of just 1… UGH! If Walgreens can’t handle ALL of the services they offer in the Photo dept, then DON’T offer them or hire more help! Just way over their head. Anyhow, I left because they were just TOO busy to assist anymore customers.
