Who doesn’t love Alberto’s? We came here on a early Friday evening to grab a bite to eat. The lady working the register was friendly and patient as it took us forever to make up our minds. We ended up sharing an order of carne asada nachos. The plate was filled with tons of meat, shredded cheese, guacamole, sour cream, and crunchy tortilla chips. The meat was juicy and the chips didn’t get all soggy. This was definitely filling for our party of two. They have tons of the usual items on the menu: tacos, burritos, taquitos, etc. Parking here can be frustrating as it is a smaller lot and shares parking with all the other businesses in the strip mall. If I’m in the area I will definitely be back.

WORSTWORSTWORST service i have experienced at a restaurant in a very long time. Stopped by the Drive Thru on 01⁄28 for an order of Super Fries. After getting to the window and paying for my food i am handed a Styrofoam box in a plastic bag. I drove about 5′ out of the drive thru before something told me to double-check my order before driving away. When i check the box i find that it is not my order of fries but an order of rice. I get out and go inside the restaurant and let them know and am finally given my right order. I drove down to a park a couple of blocks away to enjoy my lunch when i discover there is no fork inside the bag or box… SERIOUSLY? The entire crew should be fired after that F-up!

If ask for a burrito with no pico and only sour cream then why the heck would you pick guacamole knowing it had onions and tomatoes??? So I went back to tell them to fix my order and their response was oh you guys just said no pico. Wtf!!! Really??? So my response was then throw it away I’m not eating that. You would think they would want to keep customers happy if they obviously can’t use some common sense

Quite good in an average sort of way. When it comes to Mexican food, I think Alberto’s is like… a Denny’s. … .? LOL I don’t hate Denny’s but I certainly wouldn’t go out of my way to eat there. But it’s like a whatevers kinda place. Not bad. I usually get the carne asada fries. Pretty typical, you get a pile of fries(cut medium thick) topped with some cheese, beans(blech I just ask to take this out), chopped up steak, guac, etc etc. and you should definitely get yourself some salsas to go with it for some sauciness lol. I like the green sauce, but I would just skip the red. I’ve had better carne asada fries elsewhere but even the worst carne aside fries is still pretty good. You know?! Like how bad can it be lol it’s fries with stuff on it. But anyway Alberto’s version is pretty good. My bf got some tacos there also(pork and some others I don’t remember), but they were like whateeeevs. I’m a bIG HUGE fan of tacos, and these really don’t seem that authentic(not that I’ve been to Mexico or whatever but just SEEEMS like it). And I just really LOVE those taco truck tacos, or the ones you find in GCM or King Taco. So these tacos were ok. I did try the fish tacos, and they were actually better than I thought they would be! Pretty yummy. They also have horchata and pineapple water and stuff. Good for thirst quenching. I haven’t tried much of their other stuff, but maybe I should. Just cos food isn’t authentic doesn’t mean it’s not good, so maaaaaybe I should hit up their less-authentic menu items? One of these days. But actually is carne aside fries really an authentic Mexican dish? Serious question lol.

People stay away! We just bought some food and its shit! The burrito tast like acetone and rhe meat was tough. Very disappointed with this place, Taco bell is way better and its just across the street. You think a place like this would serve some decent Mexican food but I was wrong. If I can give a no star I would!

As a Pasadena native who commutes to school here in Azusa, I never knew how spoiled I was with truly great Mexican food. My top spots back home for Mexican food are one, La Estrella, when I’m craving their mouth watering red sauce and flavorful menu. And two, Burrito Express, when I’m looking for something a little less spicy and a smaller portions for lower prices. I passed by this place a couple times and today I really wanted a burrito. The vegetarian burrito at Burrito Express is what I always come back for, however the vegetarian burrito here was highly disappointing. No flavor what-so-ever, even the sauce is bland. I’ve payed $ 5 for a burrito before, and it’s worth much more. Paying $ 5 for this burrito was a HUGE waste of money.

I’ll stop in here occasionally for a beef taco combo or a breakfast burrito and it’s pretty consistent. The service is friendly and the food is prepared quickly, but this is not my first choice for Mexican.

If you’re looking for delicious Mexican food, you should try here. I was in the area for work so decided to have lunch here with some colleagues. Looking in the from the outside you wouldn’t think much of this place. Once inside, the first thing I noticed was the small menu but I also noticed how cheap everything on the board was. I ordered the steak burrito with a side of chips. My food arrived within 10 minutes. The steak had so much flavor. I was very impressed. The chips were a bit greasy, but come on… they’re chips. The 2 types of salsa that were available are just OK. They’re not the best, just ok. There’s not very much parking spot available in the lot. Most of the spots are designated for specific stores. A couple of 30 minute parking spots are available directly in front. I’d come back if I’m in the area again. Quality food for a great price.

Jesus Cristo!!! This place is out of control on their prices. Went there again to get their shredded beef tacos w/Rice and beens for about a thousand dollars, an saw they now offer flautas! That’s a flour tortilla with a small amount if meat in it, then fried. NO rice and beans for $ 6.37!!! Serious? I think they figured they would open a place in Glendora and fleece the people because they have money. Not going back.

It’s a typical Alberto’s. This isn’t my favorite location, it is just more convenient. I got the taquitos with guacamole and a carne Asada quesadilla. Both were average tasting. I used all the 4 containers of red salsa to give it a little more flavor.

When you come to an Alberto’s, you know what you are getting. Mediocre hit the spot greasy Mexican food. This is one of the better Alberto’s locations. Happy staff, much better quality than the Alberto’s off Glendora and arrow.

I’ve had Alberto’s from this location a few times, and never really had much bad(or good) to say. The other day, it was all bad. The difference? I was totally sober and not starving. I had their tacos. These tacos are MASSIVE. Unfortunately, that’s not even a positive thing, because more of a bad thing isn’t good. Their tortillas taste horrible! The carne asada is not only dry, but it’s also chewy in some bites, and gristly in others. It was so revolting, I gave a quarter of the taco to my dog, who ate it without complaining. Other Alberto’s have carne asada that’s not so disgusting, and in those cases, I’ve had burritos and super nachos that have ranged from unremarkable when sober, to downright heavenly when drinking.

Tonight was my first night ever getting food from this location and definitely the last. The food wasn’t fresh or even hot when I ate it. The only reason it was semi warm was because of the tortilla. You can tell based off the picture that I’ve attached that it’s cold/warm because the cheese wouldn’t even melt but yet it was«freshly made». The burrito also tasted weird, the meat had a weird crunchiness to it I’m guessing from the fat. Because when I chewed on it, it reminded me of when you eat at the beach and there is sand in your food. I also find it rude that when I asked for hot sauce and lime since they do not have them out like other Alberto’s, the woman working looked at me as if she was annoyed I was even asking for them. All in all if you want to feel like a bother to the employees and you want cold food, then this location is perfect for you. As for myself, I will drive the extra drive to the Pomona location since their food is actually fresh.

Had a carne asada burrito here. It was on the smallish side and the meat was gristly and not as juicy as it should have been. This location does not uphold the good«Alberto’s» name.

It’s decent. Not the best but decent. It’s actually kind of expensive. But I guess I’m used to the night nite taco runs after bar hopping in LA. It was almost $ 8 for a burrito and $ 8 for carne asada fries. Carne asada was a lil tough. Not the most moist nor tender. Carne asada fries just don’t compare to the ones down in SD(but I suppose that’s an unfair comparison). Burrito that we got was Pastor. It was ok. Again, everyhing was just okay. Also, too many onions in the guac. Chill on the onions! I like the taste of avocados sometimes!

Had a craving for Carne Asada Fries and here I am. This spot is pretty small and furniture is out dated, but the it’s clean. I took my food to go and the fries hit the spot. The menu isn’t very expensive and it is great fast Mexican food.

This place is down the street from my house(why do you care? Well, the proximity does have some bearing on my rating and ease of stopping in just because). It’s Alberto’s. It’s a chain, it’s fast Mexican food that isn’t that fast, the prices are not super low, the tortillas are a bit dry, the tacos are fine, the burritos are not especially big… so why would I go here? Duh. Carne Asada fries. For like $ 6. They are good, not great, but super huge and way filling, can’t finish them even if you want. It’s too much. And that’s why you’d come here. It’s why I come here. If you want amazing tacos or whatever, go to another Alberto’s or some other mexican food spot, but if you want good asada fries 24 hours a day? You come here(unless you live closer to another one, then… go to that one). But seriously, the food here is fine, the service is good(I only ever drive-thru). If you are close by and it’s late, this place will do ya.

I have been to many of their locations but this one is different than most of them. What stands this place out the most than their other locations is that it does not have a drive thru. Another thing that stands out that this location doesn’t open after 2 am. So if you’re craving for a late night munch, I suggest going to the one on Azusa or the one on Arrow Hwy. I’ve tried the carne asada fries here many times, and they never disappoint. Big portions of fries, carne asada, sour cream, guacamole always satisfies any hunger. I’ve tried the carne asada, machaca, and the California burrito. I perfer the carne asada and the California burrito due my preference to the steak and how it tastes. Its not too salty and it goes well with whatever sauce is added. The machaca tastes good as well, but the last time I tried it the meat tasted a bit dry. When i first started coming here, the portions were huge! The first 5 – 6 times I’ve eaten here I couldn’t finish the burrito in one sitting; however, I’ve recently noticed that the portions have been getting a bit smaller, since I have been able to finish the burrito in one setting now. Nevertheless, portion size is still good enough to get you full. Service is adequate, and be prepared to have some cash with you. This is a great place to go when you craving something a bit greasy or you’re looking for satisfy those late night munchies!
