Can’t understand why this place is not crawling with people!!! I had a great experience at this restaurant. I got my food quickly, the workers were pleasant and nice, and the food tasted really good and it was smiling! Who doesn’t love smiling food?! Even with all the pros here I’m surprised that there are not more people rushing into this place. Do yourself a favor and taste the flavor!

Reading the 4 and 5 star reviews, it feels like I was in a different restaurant! I can not describe the service I received as friendly, much less helpful. I did not feel welcome at all and it did not invite questions about the menu, so I quickly ordered a to go. The falafel was not that great and pita was cold. Hummus was standard issue. I really don’t feel like giving this place another chance, as it was uncomfortable for me, but I might. If they want a varied clientele, they really need to work on being more welcoming to all. The moniker Bakery King is a little misleading, as you can not go in there just for baked goods, such as pita bread and pastries, which is what I thought at first. It is a full scale Mediterranean café/bistro.

I used to go to Georgie’s Mediterranean food on citrus out of convenience but this place is sooo much better specially the hummus which is made from scratch and the pita bread is baked fresh. We will definitely be coming here weekly. Food is worth it and prices are not bad at all each plate is about $ 10 although the menu should have more combinations it’s too simple but that’s nothing bad

The owner Bilal is super friendly. There was a mistake on our order and he quickly put in a new order after apologizing to fix it. Got the lahem baajeen and the cheese zataar and both was delicious. Bread was crispy and warm.

I got hooked on this place after my sister brought some food back from here. I always have the zataar veggies with lebneh. Food taste fresh and it’s a quick meal to take back home or pick up when on lunch.

So disappointed with this place. My wife called in to place an order for pick up. By mistake she called this place. She meant to call another local bakery down the street. My bad, I get it. Out of respect, she called back to try to cancel the order. They said no, that’s totally fine. I understand, I will pay for our mistakes. It’s not the bakery Kings fault to lose money or the sale. I went to the other bakery first down the street to pick up what we actually wanted to eat, then picked up the food we ordered by mistake. Sure enough right when I walk in, the lady owner was talking crap about my wife in Arabic to other customers and her husband. Now that’s when I draw the line. It was an accident! I showed up to pay for our mistake. But how dare you, take an order for food that you don’t even sell! They knew my wife called the wrong place and they continued to place an order. We ordered spicy cheese pies and they don’t even sell them. At first I was like whatever, stuff happens, but they totally pulled a fast one on her. After I paid for the stuff, I left it outside for someone else to take them. I will never ever buy anything for the bakery King ever again. How dare they talk trash about my family with their customers. Karma is real.

I decided to try Bakery King for lunch today after reading the good Unilocal reviews. I was very happy I did. I don’t quite understand the connection between the restaurant’s name and the cuisine they serve but that doesn’t really matter. The food was very good, well-prepared, and fresh. The friendly owner recommended the kaftah plate which is a seasoned ground beef kabob and is served with rice, salad, hummus and pita. The hummus was delicious! The owner said he made it himself from scratch and you could tell. It was the perfect consistency and very tasty. The beef kaftah was moist and flavorful and the portions were just right. I will definitely be back soon to try the chicken kabob and their other menu items.

I never heard of this place but friends said it is famous. Very lean, tender shawarma. They make their own bread. It was soft and tasty. Very good place for a quick lunch.

Came here for lunch as we fancied some Mediterranean food, and heard about this place and wanted to try it out. I got a beef shawarma plate with some flatbreads, extra Humous and grape leaves, the food was really good and the price wasn’t that bad either. I find this place to be the best place I’ve eaten at for Mediterranean food near where I’m staying in the U. S, I would definitely come here again as the price, food and service is very good.

I thought there would be a bakery inside that had desserts and such but I was glad to see that they had manakish of various types but I was in the mood for shawarma after my class ended. I got the beef shawarma which had sliced tomatoes and pickles on the side with some hummus, sauce, and french fries. Lots of fresh bread was given as well. The food was good and the staff was nice. Lots of seating inside and outside. Across the street from Thai Cuisine.

The food here is fantastic. The name Bakery King is a little misleading. This place is more than a bakery. It is the best Mediterranean in the area, period. All the food is fresh and homemade. The quality is superb. Freshly made hummus, pita bread, and falafel. The chicken and beef dishes are fantastic. I just wish I knew about this place earlier.

Amazing service! I ordered something from their menu, and when I asked him about it, he was nice enough to explain how its made, what’s in the recipe. I was a little hesitant, but ordered it anyway. I figured, why not, lets just try it. I’m sure it’s delicious. All Mediterranean dishes are good. Once I got there, he brought me a sample on the house. I was not expecting it, it was a nice gesture, and I appreciated greatly. This little Mediterranean place has a lot of seating, both indoors, and they have a patio for outdoors. Super sweet owner and delicious food. A must try!

One of those go to places which always have great food and good service. They moved to this new location only a few month ago, it’s great. The same amazing food but now in combination with a great location. Nice tables, huge patio…
