I’m obsessed with Waffa’s! The food is beyond delicious, the best Middle Eastern I’ve had honestly! Always fresh, great ingredients, and made to order! I’m a realtor and at the office we always look forward to when a certain lender comes by, he always brings Waffa’s so of course he gets our business. The hummus is seriously the best I’ve had, I put it on everything. I go in weekly sometimes just to buy the large container because it’s just so good! The chicken and beef kabobs are my favorite! The meat is always moist, never dried out! The owner is very nice and always takes the time to talk to you. Waffa definitely takes pride in her food and her business! Her staff is always very friendly and accommodating too. I’m glad this little gem is in my town of Glendora… pride of the Foothills!

I’ve lived by Waffa’s for about a year now and can smell their food when I’m outside. Yet, I hadn’t tried it until today and I’ve gotta say this is my new favorite place to eat in Glendora! The staff was super friendly! I hardly waited at all for my food. I ordered the chicken kebab plate to go and ohhhhh my goodness, amazing. Pita bread, chicken, hummus, rice, peppers, salad (SO GOOD I WANTED MORE) and some sort of amazing garlic spread. Go here. Seriously. You will not regret it. I’ll post a photo too.

Owner was very sweet! She made my order fast and even gave me an order of grape leaves that were fantastic! Good food and excellent service.

I’m from LA and I come here exclusively for the sauce. The owner Mounir has a secret recipe for garlic sauce and it is GLORIOUS. I could buy buckets of this stuff… wait I already do!!! It goes with everything — bread, noodles, buns, meats, meatballs — everything.
I had a conversation with this gentleman and apparently it’s exported and sold all around the world. My friends can’t get enough of this sauce and ask me to get it for them too. I’ve tried other versions of this garlic sauce, but this is one of the best yet.
Prices for the garlic sauce are as follows: $ 5 for small, $ 8 for medium, $ 15 for large bucket.
Just get it.

This place was really yummy! I got the beef and chicken plate. I prefer the chicken plate. She provides pita bread to go along with your plate. The owner she was so sweet. I believe this place was family owned and you could feel the warm welcome feeling. The food was great ! If you are in the Glendora area I highly recommended coming to waffa’s.

Food is a bit expensive. It is a family owned business. In a way, this can help a family if patrons would eat here. Food is fresh and tasty. The server is hospitable.

One night, our kitchen was full of dirty dishes and wanted something wholesome and healthy and mediterranean. Waffa’s Kitchen has great and tender chicken kabob. Overall, the quality of the food is excellent!!!

Catering catering catering. My friend had Waffas do a event for them. They were very impressed by the high cleanliness of the kitchen and the preparing area for the food.
These kind people brought out the best quality of food especially the beef kabob plate. Their service was fabulous and catered to all their needs perfectly.
In fact two other friends have set up future plans for upcoming banquets because of the professional service that they have provided and excellent quality of food. They do travel quite a radius out. I suggest that you call first.

I was so glad this place came highly recommended.
I placed a phone order & Waffa answered so kindly & tentatively.
Then she gave me a free slice of baklava when she found out it was my first time there, she is so sweet~!!
I came home, and oh my goodness~!
If life had a soundtrack, I swear Ave Maria was playing when saw & smelled how delicious the chicken was, it was so moist & NOT DRY AT ALL: D I gobbled that plate up shamelessly fast, and then I had her baklava and that’s it. My heart was won.
Her baklava was the best I’ve ever tried~! Not dry, not super hard/​stale. But fresh, buttery sweet rich goodness~!

Although I’ve passed by Waffas numerous times This was my first time eating here and WOW!!! my taste palate was blown away! Don’t let the casual exterior and small interior fool you… This place is a taste explosion waiting to happen. Prices are reasonable and more then fair considering the quality and freshness of the food. As someone who is pretty mindful of what they eat I normally shy away from Baclavah because frankly it’s usually too dry for my taste and too flaky but Waffas just made me fall in love with THEIR Baclavah. It was the perfect blend of sweet and nutty and pastry. An absolute delight. I cannot wait to be hungry again so I can go back for more. I recommend the Chicken Shwarma, the Grape Leaves (amazing!), the Baclavah, the yogurt, and the meat pies. If you haven’t been, you are missing out. Do yourself a favor, GO ALREADY!!!

Wow!!! So amazing. We had the chicken shawarma and it was rich with flavor. I highly recommend this place. The prices are perfect. Great place to have a bite. You’ll leave full and ready to come back for more.

Best middle eastern food around. Period. Awesome chicken shawarma, chicken kebab, stuffed grape leaves & tabbouleh! A little priceyer than other places but not by much & well worth it. All these reviews can’t be wrong! Try it!

Super delicious food with great prices ! My family and I ordered the shrimp kebab which my dad said was great and my mom and I shared the chicken kebab. They were so nice and split the plate for us so my mom and I had our own hummus and rice and salad ! The chicken was extremely moist and flavorful which is definitely a problem with some other places where the chicken can be too dry. They also gave us a baklava for free for each entry! The service was great and super friendly. The only thing was I really didn’t like the baklava, it was too sweet but overall this place is definitely a go to place if you’re craving some Mediterranean food !

I came here because my friend recommended this place to me and let me tell you… I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED!
first off the owner Waffa is the sweetest woman ever! When we got there and placed our order she told us it would take 10 – 15 minutes which was fine because we knew we were getting our food fresh. While we were waiting she gave us a sample of tabbouleh and our pita bread that came with our order. The gesture was so nice and the appetizer was so good!
For my meal I ordered the chicken kabob! OMG SOOOO GOOD! It came with salad, rice, and hummus. Also there was a garlic spread in the box and everything was really good and fresh.
All in all I give this place a 100 out of 10! The service as well as the food was great! Not common AT ALL these days! I will definitely be back!

Food: wow, delicious! everything is super fresh, made with just a few ingredients, but oh so flavorful. Each item was prepared just how my grandma would make it, well maybe even better (I can say that because she’ll never read this haha). Will be back to try the lahmajoun, since they didn’t have it today.
Service: Very kind staff. Food took 2 minutes. Some of the sides were already prepped. And best of all, the ingredients for each item are posted.
Price: I wouldn’t say it’s cheap but it’s a terrific value for the quality and quantity of food. I spent $ 18 and got a single portion of chicken shawarma with 2 sauces, and 4 small sides. It was enough for a hefty lunch for me and tons of leftover sides for the house
This is my new favorite Mediterranean spot. It’s not Armenian, but has all the same stuff we eat. So full and happy :)

It was a little warm inside the restaurant, but the good service and kindness of the lady working there made up for that!

Came here with my cousin this past week and we tried a few different items. With that being said — all of it was great! The food tasted fresh, the lady behind the counter was very nice and sweet, and made us feel like home.
We both ordered combo plates, one beef and one chicken, and ordered a side of shrimp. Wow — I can’t tell you which one was better because I liked them all! Definitely coming back!

I love stumbling across small businesses owned by hard working families. You know that you will always get that extra bit of love when you come across someone who is passionate about what they do.
I am a sucker for Mediterranean/​Persian foods and finding one so close to home that I love makes me one happy camper.
I have been here several times already and everything is fresh and well cooked. My favorite are the chicken and beef kabobs of course. However even though I am not known as a dessert person, their baklava is stupid good. I love the pistachios they use on top, gives it a great texture and flavor component I haven’t had before at other joints.
I would love to see a gyro spit going since I love a good gyro. Maybe one day.

I visited Waffa’s when I was in the area and I loved it!
I tried the chicken kabob and their rice along with their hummus. YUMMY. The chicken was so tender and their hummus wasn’t too thick or watery like it usually is at Mediterranean restaurants.
Despite all of the negative reviews, I highly doubt what had happened. A lot of the information does not match up.
Their food is honest, delicious, and fresh. I will definitely be coming back again.

This place is definitely a five star. I love how cozy it feels inside and is most definitely love their shrimp kabob plate. So juicy and zesty. Highly recommended.
P. S. To all of you who are complaining; maybe you should try something else like Mcdonalds.
