This is my favorite local Marshalls. The staff is always friendly, lines always move quickly, and they have a great selection of housewares in addition to clothing. They offer a bunch of unique items for the home that you may not see elsewhere. No, they don’t have the greatest selection in smaller clothing sizes, particularly in pants and skirts, but I think that’s a common issue. And they could stand to sweep the floors a little better in the fitting rooms. But the merchandise is kept very neat and tidy, and it’s unusual to find anything out of place. They don’t overfill the clothing racks as I’ve seen in other locations, which means things aren’t being shoved in & out and subsequently falling on the floor beneath the racks. It’s also very rare to find items here with the common discount-store flaws, like makeup on the collar, missing buttons, etc. And their inventory seems to change frequently. My favorite finds here are the occasional dresses I grab for weddings or other events. Staff is always very pleasant. I know that customer service in clothing stores is largely fueled by loss prevention… But here, I don’t feel like every interaction has suspicious undertones, so that’s nice. They aren’t lax, either, but they don’t come across as ‘faking it’. You may be able to get better prices online(and I do love online shopping) but there’s something to be said about feeling the fabric and trying clothes on without worrying about shipping costs and the possibility of returns.
