Kohler Signature Store By Studio41

As a designer, I really need to get expert advise for each area of my projects. I love to work with Tracy on my projects because she is super knowledgeable, helpful, professional, and very responsive. I let her know what I need to specify for each project. She then works closely with me to ensure I get exactly what I need in a timely manner. I really couldn’t say enough nice things about my experience with Tracy at the Kohler Signature Store.

Just beginning a bath redo and need help and product. Walked around store for about 10 min. and a salesperson said hello just as I was leaving. Huge disappointment if you’ve ever been to Sheboygan. Nothing even tempted me.

This used to be a corporate showroom run and operated by Kohler. I went here three years ago and had a great experience buying my bathroom furnishings there. I returned in December, 2014 because I needed a new toilet seat (side note I don’t recommend Kohler products but that’s not why I am leaving a poor review).
The customer service was lackadaisical and a bit smarmy. While dealing with them the staff told me that Studio 41 had taken over the store in September, 2014 because of Studio 41 had «landed» some exclusive rights under a «big» contract with Kohler. The staff here couldn’t help me with any issues. Furthermore the man I was dealing with had a used car salesman vibe. They weren’t pleasant and I’m upset to learn Kohler corporate outsourced this store.

Rude, unhelpful, and arrogant staff. I would never buy anything here. I’d rather have no help at all and order online than visit this store. Our neighbors who visited once had a very similar experience, as well as all the other Unilocal reviewers. This place needs to shut down!

I walked in with my wife and daughter, anticipating a $ 10k to $ 15k spend on bath fixtures, and walked out 40 minutes later without our presence ever having been acknowledged by a single one of the (4 or 5) salespeople. The place was not even that busy. OK, I get it, sometimes if you want help you gotta speak up for yourself (think Home Depot) but give me a break Kohler, your products are not God’s gift to the people of this world. In this day and age even Walmart, the cheapest store on the planet who treats their employees like dirt and pays them minimum wage with no benefits, somehow finds a way to at least provide a person to greet customers as they enter the store. We’re talking about Kohler here, a supposed «luxury brand» not ultra-​discount Walmart crap, we’re talking about $ 700 shower heads people.
The employees at The Kohler showroom must be really unhappy. They are all just minding their own business and can’t seem to be bothered to help their customers — even people who were being helped were getting 2-​word and 3-​word responses to questions. The showroom is smaller than you’d expect and does not have as much product on display as you’d expect. Prices are not prominently displayed. Some of these showering systems are very complex — people need help with that stuff.
A total disaster overall.
I’ve got a 2-​night trip booked to the super-​expensive Kohler resort next month — I am seriously considering cancelling that.

I really expected more from Kohler. I spent close to 10k, for a full bathroom renovation but I found after placement of my order the Customer Service was unprofessional.
I had to send repeated emails to verify status and delivery. Truck shipments showed up with out prior notification. Communication was very poor. I can’t recommend Kohler showroom. I think you might be better sourcing thru a dealer.

Once the sales person realized we were not planning on buying a new faucet, she lost some interest, but in the end did try to help. Customer service is so important, Kohler needs to teach their employees how to teach customers like they matter! I will be ordering my new Kohler faucet from
, store experience left me not wanting to return ever.

I love Kohler. The bathroom showrooms are so tranquil. Friendly staff and we got great ideas for the bathroom :) and kitchen.
